Subject:Another Mark On My Ship
Greetings my fellow bretonians. Today was another great day for us all. I was just sitting down to have some tea and biscuits on Planet New London when a proximity alret sounded. UoG ship was right next to New London when I launched. I engaged the leprechaun but soon an ion storm came. Once the storm was over however I got right back at his fighter. In the end he ate one of my mines.
My UoG kill count with assists:five

UPDATE:
Sirs! At this very moment a corsair dreadnought roams cambridge. We must stop this monstrosity!
EJECTING! Those were my last words before I left my ship. NoFear|Mrav opened fire without warning destroying my ship. Fourtunatley Sir Alan was there and tractored my escape pod. It started over some misunderstanding. He thought I would pay him for an assist on a UoG ship. I meant the corsair dreadnought instead.

Quote:-Attacking any BPA officer will result in a $5 Million Credit fine from the BPA and a 5 million Credit fine from the individual. Failure to comply will result in a Bounty placed on the individual, until the individual pays the fine and all the fees collected by bounty hunters.
Mrav, you have been deemed guilty by the hand of the law!
In addition, [Zoner]JacquesHoudek also committed the crime of inaction. He stood aside in his large train while a Corsair Dreadnought nearly plowed through Mr. Scott, who bravely stood his ground. In addition, Mr. Houdek asked the Corsair if anything was wrong, a clear indication that he may have intended to assist the enemy!
Mr. Houdek can appeal his charges, otherwise, he is to be fined 4 Million Credits.
Otherwise, Mr. Scott performed with Extraordinary bravery. Despite his new membership, I feel that it is appropriate for a promotion!

Subject: Patrol report: Molly activities in Dublin
Gentlemen,
My latest patrol with Sergeant Scott started in New London. Since the Royal Fleet was on a scouting mission in Kusari, the inner safety of Bretonia were lying on our shoulders and we were keen to take this responsibility. We finished our patrol in London, when the long range scanner picked up multiple UoG entities in Dublin. We decided to investigate that matter.
As we arrived at Battleship BAF Essex, the Mollies were already closing in - and with a considerable fleet! A swift glance at my scanner indicated a fighter, two gunboats and a destroyer class vessel! Certainly outgunned, we seeked cover at the Essex. In their overzeal, the Mollies engaged, and the Essex swiftly took out the fighter and a gunboat, which were foolish enough to get into its range. After this loss for the Mollies, they withdrawed their forces.
After this, we continued our patrol in Leeds, where we encountered a strange Outcast. He wasn't showing a particularly hostile behaviour and soon left Bretonian space.
But the Raven, sitting lonely on that placid bust, spoke only
That one word, as if his soul in that one word he did outpour.
Nothing further then he uttered; not a feather then he fluttered--
Till I scarcely more than muttered, "Other friends have flown before--
On the morrow he will leave me, as my Hopes have flown before."
<blockquote>Then the bird said, "Nevermore."</blockquote>

Greetings again chaps. Today while patrolling New London I came across a Junker in a mining ship. I was carrying 4000 or so of some kind of gas, berillyum I thin as well as 100 spaceship crew. I bid him on his way since I didn't see anything wrong with him. Later however we had this conversation.
I would like some clarification please

Subject: Re: Hersteller
Dear Mr. Scott,
The NYS Forensic Psycology team has drawn a conclusion that this individual, Hersteller suffers from a minor case of Histronic Personality Disorder. Thus, he wants to attract as much attention to himself as possible. Often, individuals who suffer from this disorder will perform acts of daring and engage in various dangerous activities in order to attract attention. These activities can range from threatening to commit suicide to engaging in criminal activity, usually blatant.
Although the conversation you provided was minimal, the team suggests that we keep a close eye on Hersteller. If you could engage the pilot of the Hersteller in conversation again, we may be able to get more data regarding the subject. At the current time, the information provided is - unfortunately - not enough to actually establish an accurate claim.
The Forensics Dept., however, advises that you use high caution when dealing with individuals with mental inbalances.
We have been in touch with Superintendent Sheppard, and as a result, a new Watch List has been created. It contains names of individuals who may pose a threat to the general public.
Thank you for your invaluable contributions to Bretonia. We'll be here to help.
Stay frosty out there,
T. Forrester, PhD, NYS Forensics Department Head

Mr. Vimes,
Excellent and exemplary work! No question about it.
Mr. Vimes has demonstrated a classic strategy that will be employed by the BPA. Since we are a police and not a military faction, we are going to be typically underequipped to handle issues like this. Although I personally hate to say this, being an dashing soldier myself, but we are unable to handle enemies like this at this point. Our main duties are not to protect Bretonia from assault, but to protect the civilians of Bretonia!
If a situation like this ever happens again, retreat to friendlies, and only emerge to protect traders. Make sure, however, that you do NOT use cruise to run away.
Mr. Vimes' handling of the Outcast situation also was quite by the book. Though I'm inclined to disagree, our orders from the Commissioner is that Outcasts are to be left alone unless they are actively distributing drugs, pirating, or engaging allied personel.
- A watch list has been created. Check the first post.
- fpsdoug, Police Constable Bruce Scott, is officially promoted to the rank of Sergeant for his distinguished service and his high level of activity. Keep up the good work!
- Remember that the [PC] tag is not a rank. It is an indication that you are a regular police officer. Certain individuals will be flying without a [PC] tag, but they are no different from those who have a [PC] tag.
Along with all the other lists, post in the dump to add to the list.

Subject: Molly attack on trader prevented
Gentlemen,
as I took off Leeds today, I was quite shocked: three Union of Gold vessels on my long range scanners! They were somewhere in the system, provoking me to come out and "play" with them as they called it.
Suddenly, the allied trader [SA]-LNT-Lake.Huron contacted me via my private comm device. I've already escorted him together with constables Vimes and Scott, as he is a hard-working and loyal provider of Boron for LD-14.
Anyways, he was located in Magellan, ready to jump to Leeds anytime. And he was, of course, a bit anxious about those Leprechauns. As he said that the delivery was quite urgent, I decided to act as a bait.
The Mollys were already searching for me in the system, and I managed to lure them to the Newcastle jumpgate. They were right behind me, so I could throw a glance at their names and ships: as far as I remember, three Borderworld fighters - two Sabres and a Falcata. They were named Skitz, Psyke and Zanthrax, each one with the UoG coding in front of it. I performed the system jump and, fortunately, they followed me.
By this time, the Lake Huron had already arrived at LD-14:
My concern was now to survive and keep them with me long enough, so that the Lake Huron could head back to Liberty. I headed for the BAF Battleship Ark Royal and those blood-thirsty fools blindly followed me.
Not long until one of them fell in front of the power of the Battleship and an incoming patrol:
Fighting the other two of them was still quite difficult, so I decided to retreat, especially since the Lake Huron was safely out of Bretonia. I took the next tradelane and managed to get away. Their signals soon vanished from my short and long range scanners. (//all of them went offline) As the skies of Leeds were clear again, I returned and landed safely. The Lake Huron informed me about it's safe arrival in New York and thanked me for the cooperation.
I think I need a short tea break now...
Cooper out.

Awww, so you're upset that you didn't get paid for an easy target when your real target was a dreadnought? Sounds to me like you couldn't handle the challenge, and took it out on Constable Scott. Even if he did mispeak, that's no reason to attack an officer of the law. Don't blame Bruce for your criminally itchy trigger finger. You made the choice, sir. And now, it is you that will suffer the consequences.

Mates,
I'm known to be a rather calm person, and I'll state this:
1) It is common courtesy to announce combat before firing.
2) Mrav nearly killed an officer of the law. This is a crime.
3) Mrav nearly killed another military officer without warning as well.
You have nothing to note here. You commited a crime, and you will pay for it.
