WO Leon, with an after-action report on events that occured today in system Tau029. I launched from the Hades to rendevouz with the Colonial Mover transport Taxidiotis at Freeport 6 for another escort mission. As we made preparations to leave, a group of Kusari Naval Forces vessels converged on our location. We had only been at the Freeport for a total of perhaps five minutes, implying some sort of early warning system, or perhaps spies on Freeport Six. The initial vessels that intercepted us: a Komainu battlecruiser, an unmarked KNS Kusari destroyer, and KNF pilot Junko Sanada. Miss Elaine managed to sneak a distress call past their detection, and while attempting to talk our way out of this confrontation we awaited backup.
For approximately half an hour we were pinned in the Freeport Six no-fire-zone, with the conversation deteriorating by the minute when Colonial ships began to converge on the station. They surrounded the KNF, but the Kusari forces refused to withdraw. A tense standoff ensued, with both sides trading insults and postering. As the transport could still not leave the station safely, we were unable to exfiltrate at that time.
Over the course of the next fifteen minutes more Colonial vessels arrived, and the KNF finally began receiving backup of their own. In the end we were outgunned almost two to one; the KNF had multiple capital ships* with snubfighter** escort. As we attempted to withdraw, cruise disruptors were fired into our group and one of the KNF battleship commanders opened fire with little to no warning; the rest of their fleet following suit soon after.
Our battleship support was destroyed almost immediately, with the rest of our fighters being picked off one-by-one. Our bomber wing managed to heavily damage one of the battleships*** before being downed. I myself somehow avoided the avenging snubfighter escort long enough to crashland in one of the bays on Freeport Six, and to my knowledge mine was the only ship still flying of our forces at the end of the battle. My RIO survived the crash and we made rudimentary repairs before limping back to Carrier Hades.
The transport Taxidiotis was destroyed in cold-blood while floating just off of the freeport, with a disparaging comment from one of the capital commanders about Miss Elaine's manners.
It is noteworthy that elements of the Nomad race witnessed this battle, as my scanners registered a Nomad contact on scope during the fighting (see final guncam). They did not make any move to interfere.
End of report.

Greetings, Colonials. F.O. S. Johnsons here, with unfortunate and disturbing news.
I was called by some of our forces to see what was going on at Freeport 6 in Tau 29. Surprisingly enough, I found some of my fellow Colonials and one of our Transports near the Freeport, "chatting" with the Kusari Naval Forces. Indeed, we could say the discussion was already tense when i came, but what shocked me is what became of it. The Kusarians gathered as many forces as they could, last counts being: Two Battleships, one Battlecruiser and two Fightercrafts.
We took the liberty of trying to move out of the area and avoid any form of firefight at the Freeport, but sadly, they tailed us and quickly engaged, the moment they were able to. Sadly, we were outnumbered as the cowards tried to "enforce" the Gallic law upon us and took our ships down.
No large casualty numbers, fortunately... but we'll need some time to replace all these Pythos and that secondary fleet Kronos. Still, this is something to be looked into. If the Kusari Naval Forces wish to ally with the Gauls and wage war against us, i'd say they deserve to see the same side we show towards the Gauls every single day. Not to mention that reports of their pilots harassing our civilian transports increase daily, just as W.O. Leon has notified in his last report.
I'll be uploading the following attachments in order to conclude this report.
Harris here. A thorough patrol of the Coronado system was on the schedule for today. All in all it was a quiet patrol - freelancers, traders. With one exception. A Nomad as everyone seems to call them. My memory is playing tricks again, I have just a few flashes of encounters with these beings. Anyway, the thing was just standing outside Barrier Gate! It made sure we understood it meant no harm to us and our kind, which I highly doubted, but it was not aggressive indeed. I was with Warrant Officer Schwarz at that time. We both decided it would be for the best to get the alien away from the station. We cruised away, and it followed us.. After some following around, we lost it in the nebulae. Took a really long route back to Pecos, just to make sure we weren't being followed. We were not. A very strange encounter, but what matters is that we got back home in one piece. Warrant Officer Harris, signing out.

WO Leon, with an after-action report following events in Tau023, Tau037, Omicron Alpha, and Kusari home worlds. To settle the question now, I and the freelancer pilot that joined me went on the route through Kusari, though I did not waste the opportunity to perform reconnaissance while there.
This patrol began as it usually does, by posting at a location roughly five klicks from Java Station and eight-point-five klicks from the Tau037 jump hole. It was not long indeed before I ran into the first bit of trouble for the evening: a Storta-class destroyer FOF tagged Orden's Shadow. There was no fleet or squadron tag included, but something unusual was that this particular Storta carries a fully functioning cloak technology, making it much more threatening that it otherwise would be. The vessel promptly cloaked after sighting my ship, then reappeared some time later before jumping to Tau037. I elected not to pursue immediately, since another contact had appeared on scanners - a Zoner Corvo-class long range explorer FOF tagged Nomad Remains. Perhaps appropiately, the vessel was carrying a rather large amount of just that in its hold, and I immediately charged after it into Tau037.
The situation was further complicated by the presence of a Geb-class Order carrier FOF tagged Delta Queen, sitting in space near Freeport 10. The Zoner vessel ran to Freeport 10 with my ship in hot pursuit, and quickly mooring at that station to escape. After speaking with the Order ship, the commander of that vessel informed me that the Corvo would relinquish the remains, and I considered the matter closed. I came about and began to return to Tau023 - when the Storta from earlier reappeared on scanners. Before, the commander of the Outcast destroyer seemed quite amicable, but now he tersely informed me that he did not like my kind in his space. He moved his vessel in; I armed weapons and began the attack. It was quickly apparent, however, that I was not going to be able to significantly damage the cruiser before it ripped me apart, as scans indicate it was sporting a full suite of anti-fighter weaponry. I retreated to a safe distance, and the Storta, being the slower, eventually broke off the pursuit and returned to Malta anyway.
As I approached the jump hole back to Tau023, a freighter I have encountered previously tagged El-Chapo jumped through, this time carrying a full bay of Light Arms. I stopped his ship and made him jettison and destroy the cargo, but did not destroy his ship as he carried Freelancer ID. At the time I could not conclusively prove that he was working for the Maltese. I sent him on his way with a warning that a third incident will result in his destruction.
I returned to Tau023 with no further incident, but after nearly half an hour of inactivity I made the decision to take my ship into Omicron Alpha for a reconnaissance sweep while things were quiet. (Guncam footage of known major installations are included at the end of this report.) When I entered the system, I spotted something most peculiar immediately - the Order ship Delta Queen again, and when it noticed me immediately came about and docked on one of the Outcast installations around Planet Malta. I did not directly witness the docking, as I was pointed the wrong direction, but the ship was not destroyed and disappeared from the scope at roughly nine klicks after a system-wide docking announcement. Previous scans indicated no cloaking technology onboard.
I sighted an Outcast gunship, FOF tag NCC-1701, near Valetta Shipyard, but made no move to engage nor did the gunship pursue me. I continued my sweep with scans of Valetta, their Albion Light station above the first moon of Malta, and Ibiza fighter base behind the last moon. I also scanned their sleeper vessel Hispania for good measure, though it appears to have been utterly abandoned.
I received a message from the Lost Star gunship Forlorn Sunset, Regina Silva commanding, asking if I was in difficulty, since they were in Tau037 at the Freeport and had monitored my jump to Omicron Alpha. I was not, but I did tell them about the gunship in system. They indicated that they were going to go after it, and requested my assistance. I immediately headed for rendevouz near the Tau037 jump hole, passed El-Chapo undocking from Malta itself (finally, my evidence!), and found Sunset already engaging the Outcast ship. It promptly fled to Omicron080 with myself and Sunset in pursuit.
The situation deteriorated further in Omicron080. Sunset jumped fast enough to successfully disrupt the enemy's cruise engines, and we set about dismantling it. Over the course of the battle, it set course for the only other ship in the system - the Delta Queen again, this time shooting at Bounty Hunter vessels and sporting a Recruit ID (with Bundschuh IFF...though the scanners were likely in error.) The battle reached its final conclusion with the Tridente succumbing to combined fire from Sunset and my antimatter cannon...but the Delta Queen had begun to fire on us in defense of the Outcast! Sunset was forced to go fully evasive, while I reluctantly launched an attack on the traitorous vessel after it became clear that it wasn't going to break off its attack. It took some time, but between the remaining Bounty Hunter gunships, Sunset's guns, and more antimatter fire from me we managed to destroy it. The attack was a surprise to both of us, and Sunset was by this time moderately damaged so we jumped back into Omicron Alpha in effort to leave Maltese space.
When we exited the jump hole, we were immediately set on by a Zoner Aquilon-class carrier FOF tagged ZRV Alpha1, again with no warning, that was waiting for us in front of the Omicron080 jump hole. It inflicted heavy damage to Sunset before Commander Silva could get enough range to evade, and managed to down my shields as well (though I took no further hits from the vessel.) Knowing that it could not pursue us successfully, it proceeded to park itself on the Tau037 jump hole. With one of two methods of egress blocked, we had no choice - flying wide around Malta this time, we headed for the jump hole to Omicron Beta instead. Recon footage of Ruiz is included in this report.
Risking the trade lanes for speed, we proceeded through Kusari. I warned Commander Silva that it was likely I would need to evade or destroy Kusari patrols if they stumbled on us (due to recent events in Tau029). I gave no further details on why or concerning the battle at Freeport 6. As we traveled, we encountered no KNF patrols but did pass an OSI- tagged freighter, the Menthol Cigar, at the jump gate from New Tokyo, so it is very likely that Kusari will soon know of my presence there, however accidental.
We spoke briefly about the political situation in Kusari. Commander Silva indicated that perhaps contacting the Blood Dragons would be beneficial if we do indeed go to war with Kusari, as they remain steadfast enemies of the Maltese, the Kusaran government, and the Gallics that control them. I include this information for consideration by Command, and the Republic's government. A concise chatlog is included with my report.
Both of our vessels managed to get to Tau023 without further incident. We parted ways on amicable terms with her returning to Java for repair, and myself RTBing Carrier Hades to finish the patrol.
End of report.

WO Leon, with an after-action report concerning events in Taus 023, -037. Launching from Carrier Hades I met Miss McCarthy and Warrant
Officer A. Garcia near Java Station. The WO and I began our patrol from there, with Miss McCarthy along as well. As I approached the two were already interdicting a ship that carried cardamine, FOF tagged xshockx. This vessel was eventually pursued to Omicron Alpha by Miss McCarthy and destroyed there. In the meantime, Garcia and I returned to Tau023, after Garcia destroyed a Zoner IFF'd freighter that went to the assistance of the freelance cardamine smuggler. We received reports that a GMS vessel had entered the system, but our search for this ship proved fruitless. It is possible that these rumors were faked to allow that freighter from earlier, FOF tagged JC-Enterprises, to attempt to sneak by our cordon with 2145 units of cardamine bound for parts unknown. Miss McCarthy and I caught up to this vessel and after it refused to relinquish its cargo, destroyed it. Soon after, an IMG IFF'd Sagarmatha raven passed by Java, carrying yet more Cardamine. Officer Garcia and I pursued it to Dounby Station in Orkney and forced it to dock there. The IMG will wish to know that one of their cruisers is being used to ferry the drug, however small the quantity, therefore I request for this information and guncam image to be passed along to them through proper channels.
After we returned to vicinity Java, an Outcast Tridente gunship entered -023. Miss McCarthy apparently knew the pilot, a John Blade, so we held fire to allow her the opportunity to talk him out of his new career path. Along with this pilot was a ship broadcasting Mandalorian Mercenary tags, an Edward Grey. This pilot was later found to be addicted to cardamine, and we attempted to force him to drop his cargo. He refused, after which Miss McCarthy opened fire, along with Officer Garcia. I did not enter this engagement, especially after the pilot of the Tridente entered the fray in Miss McCarthy's defense. Soon after, none other than Chenzo of the Maltese 101st entered -023, claiming to be there to support those he considers allies. It is of note that Chenzo declared the gunship to be stolen, and more or less immediately opened fire, forcing it to withdraw. A long standoff ensued, with both sides trading insults and witticisms. They received a Storta-class destroyer, the Orden's Shadow, to complete their reinforcements; we were joined by a random Red Hessian pilot who claimed to be on the run from 'everyone', FOF tagged Dario Sigmundr. Near the start of hostilities a young Nomad Morph happened upon the area, and made it known it was there to see Miss McCarthy. The standoff was finally broken by the Hessian and Chenzo tiring of the others insults, with Chenzo closing on Java and opening fire on the Hessian pilot. The mercenary followed suit, and the battle was joined.
Miss McCarthy joined the counterattack to even the odds against Dario; I and Officer Garcia held positions to make sure Shadow did not attempt to provide fire support. It is of note that the Morph had perfected its innate weaponry, and engaged the Maltese in defense of Miss McCarthy.
Shadow eventually moved in, and Garcia and I engaged it with torpedo and antimatter fire. It made use of its cloak, but after decloaking a second time we managed to destroy it. The battle degraded for the Maltese after that, with the MM being crippled and Chenzo retreating from the combined force of Java, swarming IMG rookies, and our guns.
The morph and our newfound Hessian friend were both KIA by the MM pilot and Chenzo respectively, but I, Garcia, and Miss McCarthy survived the battle with light to moderate damage.
After Chenzo broke contact, I, following Garcia, RTBed Carrier Hades for repairs. Ion storms will have forced any remaining skirmish between Miss McCarthy and the MM pilot to their conclusion.
End of report.

Hello, F.O. Wilgrin here. Leaders of the Republic, this is strictly directed to you.
I've met some Coalition fellows today. Quite the nice people, and some of them seem to be quite important as well.
Anyhow, cutting the chase, they wanted to get in contact with some of our officials and i promised i'd forward the message, so it would be nice if someone links this to the Ministry or something.
Mister Tabakov has explained that their Volgograd wishes to extend some trade relations with our nation and also that they want access rights to Yuma's docking rings. Anyhow, i'm not that good at paperwork so i'll let the following recording explain everything.
Thank you for passing along the message from our friends in Omega-52. I'll be sure to send a message their way when I'm next off of Yuma. Ironically enough the lack of functionality of our very docking ring is what stops me getting off so much.
We'll keep the ground covered, you boys and girl look after the rest of Coronado.
Regards,
Liam Anders
Senior Officer Frost dealing with the paperwork,
Just a short one thankfully, I'll be headed back to the bar with Sam soon enough. Heard some shouting on the station of a bunch of Judges around. Thankfully they weren't building some massive library or whatever I'd heard rumoured, but there was a Brigand of all things causing trouble. This guy, Dupont, wouldn't let up, yet even with his cloak I caught up to him again in California and took him out for the Cadets.
Frost out. Callsign - Cunning
Susan here,
A few kills to tally first, thankfully not many for the Outcasts.
One fairly big battle against a group including Kovalainen, The.Mistery, Neo, The.Placeholder and The.Dirty.Shark as well as some XTF, ended in our victory. The Shark blew up in the distance, something horrible happened to a fighter, while I scored many hits including the final one on our Placeholding acquaintance.
I did much the same defending Eric Stone of the TAZ against SU27. No scan of the vessel - he's 'upgraded' to a Pancake since last time - but either way he was down soon enough.
Some of the WOs called in a Valor headed out of Orkney, and I came to check it out. A Capitaine Moreau of the RNS-Bretagne seemed to have cut her puppet strings and defect. Feeling a bit out of my depth, I called in the CIS; Sage will probably include his report soon.
Harris here Again, the usual patrol of Coronado was on the schedule. I joined a fellow Colonial, having the tag of the [15th] group, later on, who was no one other than Schwarz. Barely anything suspicious throughout the entire patrol. Only ships were freelancers and a few other - strange freelancer vessel showing Liberty Navy colours, which later on vanished through the Cortez anomaly, and a presumed Nomad vessel that was briefly on long range scanners. It disappeared after that and any search attempt was futile.
All in all, everything is quiet, with no hostile activity.
An unfortunately late report from my side, but White had some more business for me, somewhere off the grid.
*Pushes two buttons on a terminal, then continues.* Either way, we've had our sweeps and i assume we gathered all the needed intel from Kusari space. I started the operation along with Agent Sage, yet since he was somewhere in the Sigmas at the time, he began his flight trough Honshu while i had mine in Kyushu. I flew over the battleship "guarding" the Jump Gate and then checked the Nansei Research Facility. After going trough the cloud behind the planet and venturing in the asteroid field, i had a look at our Farmers Alliance's station and then proceeded to New Tokyo.
I RV-ed shortly with Sage and we continued our loop trough the system, mainly to have a good look at the shipyard, but because of some Ion storms, we were cut off from each other. *A short chuckle can be heard.* Anyhow, i continued my flight trough the Hokkaido system, then went back to Shikoku, mostly checking their stationary battleships and any special stations such as a hidden Crysanthemum base in Hokkaido and the Prison Facility from Shikoku.
After that i was called back, but i heard Sage met with Tacitus and they continued to sweep trough the remaining systems. Some more data will be uploaded with this report, stand by.
Being deployed in the Taus as a wing leader for the Firebirds between assignments, I will start off with a combat report.
I appear to have made a specific enemy of myself to Dos.Santos and Shalazar, who were repeatedly out-skilled along with FO Dreams. One particular engagement had them fall back all the way to Malta, ending with a misfire and merry chase through deep Outcast space. Speaking of vendettas, a certain Kusari Naval Forces officer also appears to have gotten this idea as I passed Nansei.
After being called in by Anders' niece, I conversed with the captain of the RNS-Bretagne. Her call seemed astute enough, defection from the Royalists and looking to join up with us. Making sure that long-range comms were indeed disabled, I offered some supplies in exchange for cooperation against the Maltese and several of her escort pilots transferring to our sides. Although I would still be wary, my suggestion is to put her in contact with the D'Aramis and his 'Fallen Grace Rebels'. Tau-44 would also be a suitable resting point.
Got a call from Anders himself that I should be looking out for the nuggets more, now that I am the Senior Officer for the Hell's Angels. Of course, by the time I got the Nyx out we'd already lost a couple of WOs.
Ended up against these new "Contari Lovers" or whatever, three of them to match our three remaining. Alessan and Elaria Contari, and Rina Como. We really need to train the recruits more, because to have lost to this rabble is... not so impressive. A kill each for Churchill, Harris and me.
Frost out. Callsign - Cunning
Susan reporting in,
No kills for me this time, but quite the number for Dreams aboard the Prometheus. NF|Macross, Komainu no longer Rina Como, driven to Cali Elaria Contari, destroyed Raphael Visconti, popped
Minerva Santos. Although no visual evidence, we have the black-box info: [16.03.2013 21:00:09] Death: Minerva.Santos was put out of action by CR|-Prometheus[FF123] (Gun)
A fine day at work it seems.
Signing off,
Susan Anders Callsign - Erudition
The Athena has touched down on Sabah once more,
Responding to Blanc's call-in of a Scylla roaming outside the cloud, our wing launched to search for it. It was actually Prudence's estimation of its trajectory that allowed us to catch "Mr. Rogers", and giving the manoeuvre team a rest, it was soon removed. I then handed over to Senior Officer Frost to deal with the Outcast's Lance in the system, returning across Coronado:
