1. Describe your first RP encounter/s.
-My first ever hour and interaction was with the =BSG=, I was playing it like Trent, my character was born in the omicrons as a zoner, but their family's ship got destroyed somewhere in the border worlds and they were rescued by liberty forces and were taken to manhattan. I had undocked and there was a =BSG= fleet in manhattan orbit, so I started asking questions as to where I was.

2. What were your first five ships?
-Other than the starting starflier? Uhh, defender, albatross..forgot the rest.

3. When did you reach your first billion credits?
-No idea, somewhere along in my first year I think.

4. What were your first unofficial/official factions you've joined?
-The first one I joined -which was also on my first day of disco- was the [SA], the Southern Alliance. Which is actually still around, you'll know them as the [LN]. My second was the Order| (only for a few weeks), then the Keepers and then a whole lot of factions.

5. What do you miss the most?
-The people I played with the most, and also the general mindset of the whole community, mind you this was 5+ years ago so yes, the mindset is completely gone, as well as quite a few of the people I played with closely.

-Oh and, .84 Sigma-13. Best system ever.

Guys, I thought what, if we have such a great memories of 4.84, 85 times, then we have to mention nice things from .86 as well, because the thing is that overall community attitude is like "Disco is dying, people are leaving, RP is not fun, I will leave it as well" over the positive, enthusiastic thoughts. When we think the things are going down, then these things are really going down. The attitude!
Also, if you miss something from "that times" -just put some effort and revive it. This community holds on a playerbase, that is why it is necessary to put own effort into it to keep it alive. Everyone here is an essential part of this little, so much beloved world.

1. On my Hegemon in Tau 23 while mining Niobium, I guess. Tried to keep myself at distance from a pirate which failed. That's the nearest I remember from the first encounters.

2. I think a Starflier, Rhino, Mammoth, Hegemon and then Corsair Cruiser. Basically I mined Helium in Pennsylvania until I got the Hegemon, with the Rhino and Mammoth in between.

3. Never did, probably never will.

4. The CNS Corsair cap fleet as unofficial faction, the Order| as official one. Got kinda bored by the Corsairs and shifted over. Lolwutting was pretty much not possible anymore. xD

5. The high amount of people who keep playing after the same principles like years ago instead of calling those the "good old times".

probably my best moment in disco was back in 4.84 (maybe 4.83... cant remember), when my only character was Tenacity, the firefly class junker-owned smuggling ship.

I had a lot of contacts at the time, because I was running the risky malta to manhattan cardamine route, so once I jumped into new york through the colorado jump hole I checked in with some of them to see what the situation around manhattan was (if there were any cops or navy around). From the message I received, Manhattan was swarmed by LPI and LN at the time, and there's no way I would have been able to make it to the surface without being shot down or exposed (back then, being known as a smuggler was just as bad as being known as a pirate, the coppers would shoot you on sight and limit your access to the entire system, bit of metagaming but whatever, it was fun because of the risk).

So anyways, I send out a message along these lines in system chat:
"***day!...Mayd**! Under Atta** *ear N**folk! Req**** **sistance!***"
(For those who cant figure it out, it was a phony distress call)

I wait a couple of minutes, then cruise my way in to manhattan, not a police or navy ship in sight, and land on the surface to unload my cargo. I get some confused messages in both system and direct chat later asking my location and saying they cant find me to lend assistance. I was laughing my arse off at this point.

Once I had undocked and fled back to rochester without being spotted, I sent a message in system chat saying "We got away, but the pirate is headed toward the badlands". I'm sure the rogues were happy when I directed LPI and LN at them =P

Anyways, it was an extremely well played diversion, and I daresay one of the many scenarios which attributed to my self-proclaimed title of 'best smuggler on the server' back then.

My first beginnings of Discovery was early .84. I didn't know of the forums much yet. My first char was brought up to PvP level through missions as a BHG till I got the Manta with the Vanilla fragile model (ironically the Manta itself isn't Vanilla but it's using the HH render). There was no bounty rules back then, just an official group called DW that acted more like a Sirius wide police/military and not collecting bounties (ie: red = dead). When I reached PvP level I constrained myself to the few available bounties that were posted (revenge contracts pretty much). I gained the attention of Athenian and Bobafett whom brought me in and talked about making an S/D faction to compete and dethrone the DW. Shortly after we hit the forums and the freelancer Agmen was our first member whom later became the leader. S/D btw still exists and is known as BHG| today. We succeeded in dethroning DW and worked with the houses to create the first real sets of forum bounties and blanket bounties before it became a rule. I then moved on to help co-found GMG| about mid .84 and we became official ourselves only a couple short weeks after (or before can't remember) BHG|. The rest is a history of trolling Kusari XD

[Narcotic]

I just remembered an old situation I had with the [RM] two years ago. Me doing a Sirius-wide exploration tour, mapping/repping my first character which was a good old .85 BWT. However, at one point I entered Braunschweig in order to dock on the bases there. Unfortunately I didn't know what "guard systems" were, and I faced a couple of [RM] who stopped their training for the 'disturbance'.

I had no clue what was going on, being confronted with multiple "Get out of here." messages, thrown at me. Pigheaded as a noob could be, I stayed and tried to communicate with them. It failed, and they prefered to 'speak with their guns'. I entered their guard system after all. Having no idea why they started shooting me, I just docked at the next guard base, and logged off.

Well, that's the story how the "Narcotic" was FR5 by the Rheinland Military. That was two years ago. One year later I joined them. :3
