From: Mr. James Barnes, Director Trade Combine Division. To: Amesia Jemoer and Royle Stinger Topic: Trainee Trade Captain.
Well done gentlemen!
Following a satisfactory interview and induction exam, I am pleased to offer you the post of Trainee Captains. The job will be based aboard your current vessel. Although Scarborough Station is our Head Quarters, most Trade is now handled by our new station Kings Cross in the New London system.
Your duties and responsibilities will be to ensure that your ship is commanded well, safely and without any infringements on any of the laws of Bretonia (except of course those Garlic eaters the Gallians, the cross dressing Mollys, the uncivilised Corsairs, the Tree Huggers Gaians and our nemesis the brainless, drunken sirens, the Reavers!).
Your supervisors will be Mark Sanders, Stew Wolfe, Jan Peters, Max Wolf and Eileen Porter; they will be responsible for your day to day duties. If you have any problems and you do not wish to speak to your Supervisor you can also speak to Mr Andrew Peterson, the Trade Combine Manager or if you have an ExSec issue then please speak to Mr Farbridge.
You will be entitled to four weeks' holiday in every year, in addition to the normal statutory entitlement, of which no more than two weeks may be taken consecutively. The holiday year runs from 01. September to 31. August.
Finally, I would just like to say that I hope that you will accept this offer and that you will have a long and happy association with us at Borderworlds Exports. In the meantime, you may wish to review the setup of our Transport Fleet
If you wish to discuss any aspect of this offer, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Yours in service to the Realm,
Mr J. Barnes

- What is your full name?
Jack Perkins Harrowfield
- Where was your last place of employment? What experience do you have?
I have worked as a sub-contractor for Borderworld Exports now for six months. I have good standing with exporters and my goods always arrive.
- To what division are you applying?
Transportation
- Why are you interested in working for Border World Exports?
It has been a dream of mine to work for BOWEX for years now. I want to learn a trade while earning valuable life experience, as well as serve the crown.
- You happen across a Gateway convoy that is under attack by Red Hessians. What do you do and why?
Red Hessians are quite dangerous, and furthermore, since it's only a Gateway convoy, I would feel little remorse saving both myself and my company's cargo.
- You encounter a corporate trader of Gallic origin. It croaks mockingly at you. What do you do and why?
Remain cautious and watch for enemies. I would then exchange insults with him while continuing my route, mine including his mothers promiscuity, while his would only include fart jokes.
- How do you feel about Glaswegian badgers?
Go Fulham!

- What is your full name?
Sir Ronald Drake Bowman
- Where was your last place of employment? What experience do you have?
I have a Oxford degree in Geology and astro-navigation. I served in the Royal Marines for 22 years. During that time I was in command of a forward reconnaissance group. With that I know my way around the systems a bit better than most. I also know how to defend myself and my coworkers from greedy hands.
- To what division are you applying?
Mining
- Why are you interested in working for Border World Exports?
I want to work in amongst the best miners in the galaxy. I would like to retire to a quite life of mining and shipping to allow more time with the family. I know from your employees that you are a family friendly company.
- You happen across a Gateway convoy that is under attack by Red Hessians. What do you do and why?
I do what ever is necessary to preserve my cargo and fulfill the mission. If that means sending scum to the afterlife so be it.

- What is your full name?
Nina Burton
- Where was your last place of employment? What experience do you have?
Cambridge Research Station. I worked as a technician responsible for DNA recombination for imported flora. I used to fly small freighters to various research sites, collect samples and transport them back to Cambridge. I did an internship for 1 year before my 3 year contract.
- To what division are you applying?
The shipping combine.
- Why are you interested in working for Border World Exports?
I enjoyed the flying part of my job more than actually working with the samples. And my contract for work with my previous employer is over, as it was only a 3 year position.
- You happen across a Gateway convoy that is under attack by Red Hessians. What do you do and why?
It depends on the situation.
If I had enough firepower or escort support I would order the Red Hessians to be driven off, and then either charge Gateway for services rendered or make the fact that Gateway could not protect it's cargo public, and that it needed help from Bowex to do so.
If I don't, well, the Omegas are dangerous space and I've got my own job. They know the risks, just like I do.
- You encounter a corporate trader of Gallic origin. It croaks mockingly at you. What do you do and why?
Get moving. I am not keen on the Gallic Navy toasting me, and the corporate trader could be broadcasting my coordinates for toasting.
- How do you feel about Glaswegian badgers?
They make interesting pets in very secure cages.

Thought I would also add a little bit about myself, I currently live in New London where my Cameron heritage began and we have always been men of buisness. I am 25, Male and have some small transport piloting experience though I have a fully fledged licence for larger, my buisness was recently bought out by USI along with it's assets so I am currently shipless and now seeking employment
