For the past few weeks we have been working on a new satellite like scanner to improve our data research feedback from exploring nomadic planets and foreign stellar bodies.
The "Sirius Calibrator Artificial Nano Enchanted Relays" (SCANER) provides a qualitative leap in planetary surface imaging. A proprietary technology of the Ayndroid group, this upgrade, for Department of RD&A Mobile Laboratories, sensory array delivers superior long-range topographical scanning resolution and rendering speed.
By deploying an orbital multistatic grid of 100 radar-emitting micro-satellites, the SCANER quickly delivers a global Digital Elevation Model (DEM) at 15 meters per pixel (mpp) resolution, vastly outclassing the previous scanner peak performance of 27 mpp. Such imaging quality provides superior defense intelligence, and at a speed warranted by the dangers of combat.
At slower scanning and rendering speed, the SCANER can resolve down to an astonishing 0.001 - millimeter per pixel - ideal for geological and biological prospecting, archaeological research, and long-term security surveillance. By employing such a massive multistatic grid of nearly-untraceable micro-emitters, the resilient SCANER is virtually invulnerable to electronic countermeasures. The spherical geometry of the SCANER grid also allows superior cross-sectioning of targets.

The Department of RD&A has an aggregate that hosts several volumes used as NFS datastores for our VMWare environment. The volumes are roughly 1.3t in size and deduplicate down to roughly 800-900g.
We were getting close to hitting our theoretical IOPS maximum for the aggregate so we decided to add a shelf of disks to the aggregate before migrating any more virtual machines to the datastores hosted on this aggregate. Time to reallocate.
We are running ONTAP 8.1.1 which says it can reallocate snapshotted and deduplicated blocks by using the -p reallocate switch. In previous versions of ONTAP, my understanding is that it was impossible to reallocate deduplicated blocks. If you dont use the -p switch with ONTAP 8.1.1, only non-deduplicated blocks will be reallocated. Given the great deduplication ratio on the volume/datastore (and snapshots) we decided it was in our best interest to use the-pswitch. Welch Out...
REPORT OF ZONER CORVO PASSAGE THROUGH LIBERTY BOUND FOR FREEPORT 101 TO DEFEND AGAINST RHEINLAND
1. Immediately before the time-stamp of this report I was contacted, through Liberty authorities, by the captain of a Zoner Corvo seeking safe passage through Liberty. I diverted from my current patrol to assess the situation. The Zoner Corvo, callsign Prestigio, was apparently headed for Omega-15. What followed was a routine safe-passage escourt through Liberty to Cortez with a much more interesting conversation.
2. The Zoner Captain spoke of what LSF signals intelligence collectors have speculated on based on intercepted Omegas chatter. According to the Captain of the Prestigio, Rheinland secondary fleet forces moved on mass to attack Freeport 101 in Omega-15. Rheinland primary fleet and government leadership are told to be privately disavowing the actions of renegade battleship commanders in communiques to Zoner officials. I was told that Zoners are, logically enough, greatly angered by the attack and are moving assets to defend against future aggression.
3. I believe that this represents an opportunity to gain allies in the fight against Rheinland. While Zoners are unlikely, barring future attacks by Rheinland forces, to go on the offensive into Dresden I believe they could be persauded to provide support to our intelligence and special forces operators in the area. Freeport 101 could serve as a safe house for undercover operatives within Rheinland. With sufficient caution existing Zoner supply lines could be leveraged to support LSF TacOps or Navy elite wing attacks behind enemy lines. While Zoner neutrality is a factor I believe we can exploit their fear and anger towards Rheinland. I recommend LSF director level engagement with key Zoner leaders discretely on this opportunity.
4. I also recommend intelligence gatherers focus on finding out more about the Rheinland attack on Freeport 101 so we may better understand the incident. If there is a renegade faction or command breakdown occuring in the Rheinland Military this is an obvious opportunity for Liberty to take the initiative.

Agent Susan Hills has been promoted to Sergeant. Your courage and selflessness despite the odds has got our attention. From now on the Field Agents will look up to you, and you're expected to guide them and take decisions in the field when no higher-ranked personnel is available.

We've got Zone 21 violator approx. 30 minutes ago detected in Alaska. Unfortunately I failed to intercept him. He admitted he violated Z-21. He's Libertonian citizen, flies Roc bomber. He intended to hunt nomads. He has knowledge on several jumpholes in Alaska and got away to Omicron Minor, per information of our sattelites near the jumphole. No further operational data avaiable.

At Fort Bush I met transport "Firefly" with Slaves in cargo hold. I stopped him in Colorado at New York jump gate. My Avenger escorted back Transport to the Pittsburgh and capitane was warned about Slave trading.
Later near Manhattan were crazy pilot in BDR-804 "Guardian". He was shooting people around and he was destroyed many times. Me and Police pilotos arrested him and on the way to Huntsville he tried run. Police pilots destroyed suspect's ship and took him to Huntsville.
Junker liner "Pilgrim" series was stopped near Manhattan. Scanning showed Classified Intel data and Gallic artifacts. After demand, I was ready for bring it to Kodiak. But Police pilot destroyed Gallic artifacts. Police pilot was warned about priority of artifact. Junker flew with me to Pittsburgh, where we have secret discusion. He agreed. He could take Gallic artifacts from Gallia to New York. Meeting point was at Stokes station in Leeds.
Agents Alliance=1, Chimera and John Palerton, flew with me to the Leeds. Leader was Alliance=1. Near Stokes we waited for Junker. Agent Palerton was scanning area with Long range scanner and other Agents were prepared to fight with Gallic Royal Navy. Junker arrived in 45 minutes and we escorted Pilgrim liner to Magellan. On our way, we found Armed Forces gunboat. I leaved formation and started conversation with capitane. Meanwhile Agent Palerton flew with Junker to the Magellan. When they reached Magellan, I leaved gunboat capitane. Meeting point was at Freeport-4. And when we reached California, we saw Reavers. We changed plans and Liner was escorted to Willard Research station, where were Gallic artifacts sold.
Today in Alaska were found BDR-804 "Guardian" with Zoner identification. He was looking for Order Battleship, because he wanted buy 10 class shield on his "Guardian". I escorted him back to New York with warning about Zone-21 and Alaska and I sended him to Virginia, where he bought shield. I don't know why, but it was Navy officer with Zoner IFF. But still, with Zoner papers he shouldn't be in Alaska.
Later I found 2 LH gunship threating traders between Westpoint and Califronia Jump gate. They tried to kill me but Liberty Cruiser helped me. Cruiser died and when LABC came to me they ran away.
Upholder - I found Nomad in Alaska, I could follow him with Upholder to Westpoint, where I lost him. After few minutes Reavers came to New York and my Upholder was destroyed by "Mamoru".
Later we found RNC Elbe in Texas and Me, Dreadnought and LABC destroyed this lonely Rheinlander. On my way back to Ellesmere I met Xenos in "Waran". Fight was long and Xenos leaved us.

Second day in Liberty Security Force full of actions.
I was at Manhattan with police pilot John, when Freelancer contacted us about "Scyla" near Westpoint Academy. We arrived to Westpoint and nothing was here, then we went to California. We found "Stork" with IMG identification, who tried run away. We catched them and Capitane said, that he hasn't got time. We left him and he said some vulgar words to LSF and Liberty Police. When we tried to stop him, he jumped into Pennsylvania. Near Philadelphia we catched him again. He didn't cut his engines and we warned him. No response and he tried run again. LSF| tagged ship didn't want help us and after while he warned us. "If you will touch that transport, you will die" words of LABC capitane. We engaged that transport after many warnings and LABC capitane tried to kill us. What's wrong today with Agents?? LSF attacked LSF?? I think Rheinlanders are laughing now. Transport ran to Memphis Storage and we attacked crazy LSF capitane. He docked on Zoner base, when we said that Carrier is going for him.
Meanwhile Agent Palerton was attacked by Reaver. I docked and changed my Upholder. My Avenger was at Manhattan immediatelly. I stayed near battle, because Reaver was loosing. Rogue ship came here aswell and engaged Police pilot John. He must fly away, because Liberty Carrier and Liberty Cruiser attacked him. I fought with Rogue near Manhattan, but I received last hit by Nuclear mine. Mine damaged Rogue too and he left battle.
Later Carrier and Cruiser called me to Westpoint and we flew to California. At Jump gate was Pirate bomber and "Scyla". Battle again. Carrier, Cruiser and my Upholder attacked "Scyla" because bomber ran away. "Scyla" was destroyed and Junkers cleaned Battlefield. Area around Jump gate was closed for 5 minutes, when Junkers were cleaning Battlefield and I was scanning area for survivors.
I survived 18 Civilian pilots, 4 Police pilots, 15 Transport pilots.

After consideration I have also made the decision concerning Alex Chain, who went AWOL some time ago. He is reinstated as First Lieutenant and assigned to the position of Supervisory Agent. As you can see, you're no longer a Coordinator, but that may change if you prove that you are ready to do your part once more.
I also need to remind all agents who haven't noticed this transmission yet, that if they don't respond to it in a week, they'll be suspended from active duty until further notice.

Let me start by saying hello to everyone in "The Force". 10 years ago when I was signing up for my uniform I've never tought I would wind up to LSF. Its an honor to serve with you. I have much to learn from you, so bear with me for next few months, please.
My ship has been set up and I was temporary assigned to Office of Naval Intelligence at Nortfolk Shipyard.
Now that welcomes are off the list, let me get to more important matter.
In minutes after I reported on my new post I was contacted by reports of unwelcome presence in New York. I've notified [LN] officer I had contact to, namely Ensign Brooke Windsor of whats in the air and departed to investigate.
At Westpoint I've made visual contact with two ships. Shotgun., who was Bounty Hunter, The.Gold.Cannon, which was Rogues Cruiser, and Cocosul.Cel.Naprasnic, who looks like to be unaffiliated pirate.
Then two things happened. I've passed obtained information to the [LN] mentioned ealier, and the Bounty Hunter announced it to everybody in system.
Needless to say situation quickly raged out of control and ten minutes later I was already dogfighting in large engagement that involved around 10 ships and was growing at dangerous pace, attracting both Navy, Judges, Freelancers, Mercenaries and finally Hostiles to the area.
Those are not healthy work conditions for LSF operative, and so I've broken off from fight and made my way to safer place on first chance. There I've made contact with Specialist John Palerton of our agency, to whom I've gave report of current situation and advised to maintain distance.
After that I've returned to my office at Nortfolk shipyard.

As side note, I think our operatives should be educated and start educating other branches about our procedures. All out battle is not how The Force protects people of Liberty, its how Navy protects them. I propose for Force's command to advice our operatives to avoid tactical situations and take back seat in Navy's operations, providing intel and situational awareness to allied units.
However, this is something for higher echelons to decide.

So, Liberty saw plenty of action today. Putting aside countless Rheinland trading ships and Artifact Smugglers, there's something... erm... less pleasant to report.
Today at 19 SMT I've replied to [LN]-LNS-MacArthur's request for assistance. Until then I was busy processing reports from forces engaged around house and distributing that intel to reinforcements, but this ultimately resulted in our reserves drying out.
So, I've followed mentioned LNS and what started as simple policing assignment quickly escalated into all out battle... and well, I've lost my ship. That's another millions of taxpayers money wasted. Luckily my flight's recording self-destructed as well, making sure our internal procedures wont leak out.
Unfortunately, this also means I'll wont be able to fullfill the promise I've made to fellow AiT Postreieseie until I get replacement ship.
