Their Story:
In 794 A.S. an uprising on Planet Marne sparked the Second Gallic War between His Majesty's Armed Forces and the Council. The uprising spread as police forces and small army detachments were overran by rebel forces. The rebels were being supplied with light vehicles and artillery by the Council, firearms and munitions from Gallic Brigands. The Royal Navy patrols were unable to keep up with the aid coming in from off-planet groups. In 798 A.S. a large occupation force of 110,000 were prepared to be transported to Planet Marne, but Council military forces, for the first time in history, intervened. Only 45,000 of the troops made it to the planet. Though the Council failed to destroy any of the military transport ships, the occupation army was unable to reach Marne. Reims Station was eventually captured, and the Council fleet was able to attack and drive off the Royals. By 801 A.S. the fight on Planet Marne was over.
Despite a few ground invasions, most notably the Quillan Operation, the war was now fought in space. By 803, Champagne was in Council control. Now the Council had their eyes on Lorraine, but the Royal Navy had picked up their scent. In 804, a counterattack was launched by the Royal Navy against Council ships in Champagne preparing to invade Lorraine. Thinking they had disrupted the forces of the Council, the Royal Navy headed for Planet Marne. They were engaged by a heavy defensive fleet reinforced by Maquis and Brigand units. The Royal Navy became surrounded and destroyed, with only a handful of units able to flee to safety.
By the year 806 A.S. the Council was ready to attack Dauphine. In 809 the attack commenced, with a large fleet assaulted Bourgon-Jallieu Station. After hours of intense combat, the base defenses were destroyed and a kamikaze transport on autopilot rammed the station, destroying it and taking the lives of 120 police and military, and a few civilian casualties as well.
Fifteen years had passed now since the initial uprising. Large forces of Royal Navy had been destroyed already. The Council had the upper hand. But the Royal Navy had learned of the next trick up the Council's sleeve. The Office of Naval Intelligence had got wind of plans against Gap Station, a strategic point on the route from Burgundy into Languedoc. What the Royal Kingdom needed was a new tactic.
The war was costing resources. This meant the manufacture, construction, and refinement of new resources and resources needed manpower. A group worth nothing. A band of pond scum that would not be missed to throw at the Council forces. King Charles XI turned to criminals of the state. Chateau d'if. A heavily fortified prison in the Province system, in orbit of Planet Marsielle. Only the scum of Gallia were interned here. Rapists, murderers... The lowest of the low. People without morals. Barely human. His Majesty looked up information on Gallic criminals interned there. His eye was caught by a man known as Claude Du Vall, a gentleman nonetheless, but a robber, pirate, murderer. His Majesty had a deal. He needed men. Troops. A human wave so to speak. His Majesty granted Monsieur Du Vall pardon, with a price. Mandatory conscription into the Gallic Royal Navy in return for a clean slate. A chance to start over. To redeem himself of his past transgressions. Though little did Claude know that the intent was for him to die in battle... But what was the difference. Anything was better than the systematic abuse in Chateau d'if. He was assigned 1st Royal Navy, 7th Fleet, Gallic Royal Navy. A unit created by the Naval High Command consisting of other murderers, recovering cardamine addicts, and other enemies of the state. Obviously not expected to last long. A way for the Kingdom to get rid of a few unwanted without any further tax burdens to the subjects of the Kingdom. After all, the honour was found in the end, not the means.
With orders to defend Gap Station, Claude was given the rank of Sous-Lieutenant and command of a XJ-1 Caracal light fighter. As he climbed into the cockpit of his new fighter, with his chance to start over, he felt a resurgence of pride, unaware of the intent of this new unit. A large council fleet arrived at Gap Station, with the intent of Marines boarding the station to minimalize civilian casualties. Once the station defenses were incapacitated, Council troop transports showed up to drop off the Marines.
After 4 days of intense combat, a Gallic Royal Navy fleet arrived, with 1/7 leading the assault. The Navy fought the Council fleet gallantly. What a brave charge it was. The newly-formed 1st Royal Navy, 7th Fleet sustained one of the highest casualty rates of the battle, over 60%, but pressed on. Determined to serve the crown honourably, and gain new freedom and respect, 1/7 continued to harass Council ships until their eventual withdraw after a missile barrage that destroyed the station. Very few State forces survived the attack. Among those that made it were 1st Royal Navy, 7th Fleet. With only 3 ships left in the squadron, Sous-Lieutenant Du Vall radioed in, "1st Royal Navy, 7th Fleet, awaiting orders, sir!"
The heroics of the unit of marauders, their losses, their criminal past, their internment location, their refusal to surrender or withdraw, and their unbridled loyalty to the Crown, Kingdom, and Royal Navy, garnered them the nickname among their comrades, The Battered Bastards of Chateau d'if. The surviving, having received honours and awards for their actions, continued to serve proudly, boldy, and faithfully with the Royal Navy through the Languedoc Offensive and the Minefield Assaults. King Charles XI made the unit's official motto "Honneur. Gloire. Victoire." Honor. Glory. Victory. Their actions at Gap Station are still talked about to this day, and to this day, they stand ready. The year is 820 A.D. "1st Royal Navy, 7th Fleet awaiting orders, sir."

Okay. Again, thank you for letting me know. I searched and searched. Wiki. Forum. Couldn't find anything pertaining to that. The wiki was outdated and the description sounded RP'ish so I threw that in there. Will do more research for a different title and make appropriate revisions.

If you encounter and Admin in game, you might like to treat their presence from an in-character perspective in order to prevent immersion from being broken. That is the spirit in which those articles were written. Therefore, while they can have some kind of presence in the roleplaying environment, they are still non-canonical and therefore not suitable as part of a faction's history.
The paragraphs make it possible to read, that's better.
You might like to put the faction logo at the start of the thread, center it, and possibly make it a bit smaller.
I would recommend you break up your Diplomacy list into sections, defined by hostility or friendliness.
Just a couple corrections here, if you don't mind. Didn't read much of the background, just the stuff underneath.

Considered a hostile system. The Gallic Royal Navy only retains control of the jump gate to Dauphine. Not, under any circumstances, to be patrolled individually. A minimum of 3 vessels are required for entry into this system. Use extreme caution when entering. Be prepared to make contact and defend yourself upon entry.
Languedoc has, for a long time now, been under the control of the GRN.
The extent of Gallic territory now also includes Orkney, Tau-23, Tau-31 (mostly), Tau-44, Lewis, and Edinburgh.

Mollys are now on good terms with Gallia, not hostile. Kusari have become friends with Gallia as well, since their old government was overthrown. LaBrise no longer exist, and the rest of the Unione Corse should be listed as Neutral or Unfriendly (if you had that section). You'll also find yourself at war with Liberty.
"You see what your knowledge tells you you're seeing. ... how, what you think the universe is, and how you react to that in everything you do, depends on what you know. And when that knowledge changes, for you, the universe changes. And that is as true for the whole of society as that is for the individual. We all are what we know, today. What we knew yesterday, was different; and so were we."
- James Burke, The Day the Universe Changed (1985)
