A useful comand that could help players to confirm the coordinates of their base defenses, etc...
/set waypoint [CoordX] [CoordY] [CoordZ] --> Adds a clientside waypoint to the specified coord in the system the player is (like the mission waypoints)
/get coordinate --> Returns the X, Y, Z coordinates of the selected static object. Useful in case you want to be acurated when placing defenses, etc...
I'd like to propose the creation of a new commodity called Discordian Pope (for all who don't know it, all Discordians are Popes), and I'm available to write the flavour text (something about a missionary headed to travel sirius and spread the word of Goddess). It could be sold at Pueblo Bonito and bought at different places Sirius and Gallia wide.
Add a jump-hole that takes 2/3 minutes to travel all the way back to the solar-system, that should give the "coalition" and "ROS" a little boost and will bring some peeps from all the corners of sirius. I'm sure everyone would like to see that.
Make the sun as a red dwarf ( like the one in gamma ) and just change it to the right title, so as all the rest.. jupiter, mars.. etc.
I would like to see more variation between faction tech in general. It doesn't make sense that all factions use the same equipment except for guns and ships. When it comes to guns and ships there are variations, but they're really not that big, in my opinion. Almost all VHF's have six guns, and all guns have similar damage output in the end. Agreed that some there is a difference, but it's really not that significant, and in the end they all have the same outfits when it comes to weps class and equipment.
I would like to see something like Inferno's and those other special guns that the Rogues/Mollys and the Reapers have, but I would want it to be more extreme. For instance... A faction that already focus on heavier armor could have their own armor upgrades. Another faction would have some seriously effective missiles. Same thing with shields, mines etc. InRP it would make sense that each faction has developed it's own tech. If an action skill could be added, then it would make things really interesting.
You could have caps that emitt some sort of shield disrupting field around them, so that all hostiles that venture too close have their shields busted until they move away. Another faction could have some sort of radiation bomb, that damage all hostiles in the area over time. Police factions would have really efficient CD's and so on and so on... Since we don't have guard ID's anymore, maybe it's possible to make this special equipment unmountable unless you have +0,8 or better rep.
The trick would be to balance it properly, but I definetly think it would add a lot of flavor to the game. Maybe this has been suggested before, I don't know, but maybe it's time to discuss it again.
Gauge overlays? Real aircraft have hundreds of gauges, I think futuristic spaceships should have more gauges too.
-A position monitor that shows your approx location on the grid (inspired by the loss of #c)
-I personally would also like to see my shield status in numbers in addition to the shield bar.
No atmosphere? GTFO.
The propeller is the greatest invention of all time.
Is this possible to create?
When repairing your ship on own faction base that the money you must pay for repairment goes into the own faction's base bank account?
The bank account grows more and the money is not actually useless thrown away. And you help your own faction.
Simple solution to the problem with large NPCs not docking properly- give them their own ships that have better handling (or stats in general) .
eg. the player pelican might have a turn rate of 40.87 deg/s, but the NPC pelican would have a turn rate of 70. while there might now be an imbalance between NPCs and players, you could always reduce the amount of NPCs.
problem solved?

I'm not sure if it's been requested here before, but giving properly IFFed/IDed Lane Hacker vessels the TAGs system would be very RP given their lore. They could be quite selective of what they wanted to show up for that way.
