Yes, i have butthurt. Every time when someone near death and he has jumpdrive(especially turtles), he uses it and run. And today i saw one RMBS like that. He set coords in NY and landed at Rochester(i think) every time after running and then flew back. I suggest to do rule about this or make jumpdrive dropping on CD. /discuss
P.S. rule like: If you ran from battle using jumpdrive, you are PVP dead
RM allowed in NY, we are in 4.86. Also, this use of JD is OP. This cant be controlled, people with them will win people without them(or people in ships which cant use it good, i mean Light BSes)
Are you sure? Last I played my RM ship in 4.86 we were under clear instructions that only MND ID'd players could go to N.Y.
And it's not "OP" - first of all it costs a bit of credit for each time you fuel up, you have your combat ability nerfed (for instance my Elbe can only mount a CAU 6 when I need room for fuel and a JD - and that only gives me about 20 minutes in enemy territory before the MOX have decayed to a point where I can't make a jump), and there are easy ways to counter it: Don't go in alone, build a sizeable force (perhaps a few cloakers) and simply out-dps the jumper before he has time to jump. Time works for you, he'll be limited by MOX decay unless of course he is poorly armored to leave room for a lot of fuel; and then you have that advantage when fighting him. He'll end up doing no significant damage and only if he is lucky he will survive - that's not really a win-condition. Lone JD caps only works on people that jump the gun and go in alone - and even then the lone JD cap pilot will be extremely lucky to get a kill, as Battleships aren't equipped with a CD.
Well if he resupplies at a Junker base in Liberty, it's a matter of rules violation or in the least something Junkers should FR5 him for.
If he resupplies that means he'll run on H-fuel, which will also mean an armor reduction as it's less efficient than MOX. On an Elbe you'd have to go CAU5 to make room for H-fuel instead of MOX, not sure about the Turtle.
From being grouped with several [RM] and BDM- players during raids. It might have changed, I don't know. Haven't played my Rheinland boat for a while. But every raid I have been on, the RM ID'd ships have waited patiently in Texas while the MND ID'd players have been in NY trying to lure LNS to come to Texas.
