- You were a corsair in NY, and that is completely out of RP for corsairs have no business in NY altogether
well then why do they seem to attack it frequently?
Anyway, now that I'v thought about it, i shouldn't have reported you.
But, my report only made the admins to fix your reputation, not to fine your weapons and credits.
Why shouldn't I?
Because it's a Corsair in Titan VHF for a change.
All i was seeing lately were gunboats and destroyers.
So, as I said, try and work it out with the existent Corsair clans.
They might have something interesting for you, if you like flying a Titan.

Now that you've lost 5 Mil, your level may be low enough that these jerks won't bother you while fixing your rep and returning to Crete.
Way to go, Liberty fascists and shysters. Is there a one of you who hasn't had to go somewhere which doesn't quite fit RP in order to jigger your rep?
Another new player potentially strung up in "trial by forum".. Meh.
I was there for the "incident" and at no point did I here this fellow say anything that made me believe he was repfixing, and then there was the re-engagement, he was killed, he undocked and attacked the people who killed him. He was killed again. He attacked again. He's not been strung up he broke the damn rules and would not disengage even when repeatedly told to do so and that he may get into serious trouble if he did not. Now he's got into trouble he's complained, if he'd followed the rules and gone someplace else after his first death he wouldn't have got into any trouble, no-one would have noticed him or cared. Just another lone Corsair in Liberty.
I play a Xeno and I have to go a long way out of my ZOI to get a ship which doesn't fall apart after one shot, but I fly under the radar, I don't fly to crete and start taunting the Corsairs there. He may have been able to compose an eloquent forum post to complain about his sanction, but he should have thought about that last night, when he was doing things to get sanctioned for.
P.S. I disagree with Liberty being OORP for Corsairs, they have no allies there but they are desperately trying to get some, the fact that he was a corsair didn't bother me at all, it was nice to see one flying a titan and not a battlecruiser. It was only the rengaging when told not to and asked to disengage that really got my goat.

No idea. They shouldn't.

How can they even try to get allies in Liberty, when every single faction there (not counting the Junkers) is hostile to them? They have nothing to look for there, all the pirates in Liberty are on the Outcast side of the war with the exception of Xenos who hate everybody. I can see how - with the every other day corsair incursions into NY - people just start treating it like a normal thing, but they really have nothing to look for there. They would have trouble getting there (route leads through Rheinland/Bretonia), let alone try and set up an operation there.
Actually, Xenos don't hate the Corsairs.. Xenos need an Ally in Liberty.. Umm...
Well, enough said.

What to take away from this situation:
-A better understanding of roleplay and the rules and punishments of the server.
-Don't report people the first time you see them messing up, unless it's major. Warn them first, then if you see them in a week doing the same thing, then you should report them.

I know, I have been doing so for a while. Actually, i never reported anyone till last week.
Try spending hour or two a day in New York, and your tolerance will drop rapidly as well, trust me.

Are you sure you were there? Then didn't you see those outcasts attack me for nothing? Those are the people i was engaging and then all of a sudden massive ships from liberty who were green on my screen started firing on me and the outcasts.
I clearly said i was leaving, and yes i did re-engage the outcasts because they nearly blew me up for nothing, i actually had my engines cut and sat near them for about 30 seconds before they opened fire with no warning. I've been on this server 3 days i dont know all the rules because theres so many but i'm learning them now.
I cant remember seeing any warnings, everyone seemed to be fighting i didn't really take notice of the messages.
Anyway this treads goings nowhere because i dout anything will change.
Thanks choppa, but please check if the player is new or not before you report them.

Lets clarify this, because I did see it. Outcasts and corsairs are sworn enemies, ones that kill each other on sight. You literally flew into one of the Falcatas as if everything was fine and dandy, it was to be expected you will be fired on. A engaging message was given, and when you started taking damage you docked on Trenton. A lawful base, and you are a Corsair. Despite that you were OORP by that alone, you docked and that means you ran and you can't engage the players that attacked you. But you undocked and engaged again, so the outcasts had to destroy you again. Multiple people told you that it's against the rules to re-engage, and once you died again you re-engaged yet again. If you didn't re-engage, you would be allowed passage out of the system, 'nuff said.
I don't think the situation can be any clearer. You made a mistake, you had a sanction placed on you. You won't break the rules again due to that, so it all turns out good. That's my 2 cents.
