Having caps for zoners is much the same as having caps with liberty so its pointless to debate this, oh and P.S - Nephilim is not a colony-ship but a warship re-designed for other purposes as well.
The ship line does not degrade the Zoners, its the people who pilot them are. Which is clearly evident by certain individual or groups and the way they use them as of late. This sadly makes the community believe it is the shipline that attract these "lolwutters".
If Nephilim is really a warship then why do they have 2 Bio-Dome mounted? it makes no sense.

Well I guess you have a good point there, its impossible to stop one zoner from doing something that may reflect and affect the others, but it seems that its easier to attack zoners because I've seen plenty of lolies in the Lib navy as well but it never breaks that point. I have no doubt that its a matter of perception, and what people select, though one should understand that if you are flying a VHF/bomber, then you should RP yourself, but when you fly a battleship, the reasoning tells me that you also have to involve the "imagined" crew that you have, because 1 person can't pilot an entire battleship. That's really a game-changer, accepting this fact can turn the tide from an individual rp to a small faction rp, because once you add your "crew" you must act in a way that should not danger them as well ( unless ofcourse its a kamikaze rp ). Best rp lads I know will always ask such questions to people before going into the offensive.
Edit : That's why I think that if a way.. we are also responsible for the lolies behaviour, we can't p.m people and tell them how to rp all the time, but you can bring up questions that break the ice, questions that you know will make a difference.
At first steps of OSI, it was designed as non Zoner bunch of traders, which aimed to help Zoners. Not much changed, but now they're part of Zoner community(cant remember when it did changed).
Nephilim(junkusu or whatever) was and will be colony ship. It has some other possibilities, but main role is still the same.

I have no problem with OSI or your faction as a whole ( even though your faction shouldn't even be in 74 according to your backstory rp ) but I guess livadia serves as a legal excuse for being there. Now, the junkusu has alot of purposes but remember it used to be considered a "myth" - it was not a colony-ship from the begining, it started its "service" in theta against the corsairs, thats the only weapon the zoners had regarding theta. Following the 0-49 settlement, the corsairs agreed to "open theta for zoners".
if the biodomes are a problem for ppl to RP with - they can be removed -
at the time - they seemed a neat touch to the ships design - but it seems that more and more people don t get the idea of ornamental design. ( like paperthin wings on kusari, axeheads on liberty or forked tails on fish ships )
easy to revise the nephilim to look more like a guardship. - those nasty biodomes may have outstayed their welcome - they are a relic of a times when disco was not makinga drama out of everything - but happy with what it was given.
on sindroms idea about splitting the zoners
it is an old - very very old idea - and repeatedly rejected for - i don t know what kind of reasons. - splitting the zoners apart - or even make them an entire NON playable faction ( hence removing all zoner tagged / faction ships ) is a good option - zoners cause way too much drama among players - non zoner players and zoner players alike. - and more and more - it becomes rather a chore to deal with that faction.
disco is black and white - cause the players prefer black and white. - simple is the way to go. - that was only a quarter sarcastic btw.
seriously though - splitting zoners into regional bands is a good idea. - but it makes little to no sense to keep the shipline then. might leave the ships to the TAZ, cause they are the only ones with a developed system of their own. - and they might need guardships against gallic incursions anyway. - the other zoners don t need them really.
This is probably the 9000th time I'm seeing this thread.
And my opinion never changes, no matter how much zoners try and change, the results should be the same.
Make the Zoner ID an Omicron Terrorist ID. And you're done. That's all you need to do for it to fit into roleplay, nothing more. There are no government laws or anything in the Omicrons, you should be able to shoot whoever and group together with whoever. It's what they are.

Guess people must just be happy with everything what is added so far. It took a lot of time for the devs to create, balance and implement within the game. Not to meantion how many times they had to adjust ship designs. Some due to the community not liking the model or devs not due to balance issues or some other things.
