The New London and Newcastle gates are being linked after their Leeds counterparts are being disabled.
heya good work, and it's really nice with this log and aerelm's balance log.
i was wondering, have you considered giving GRN allies and opening up for tech share? With the huge variety in enemies GRN fight, and the options for diplomacy and tech exchange available for all their main opponents, GRN seems pretty stunted in their choices and options.
Also a decent solo cruiser or access to a nerfed cruiser from allies, like what all GRN main adversaries have, could really spice up Leeds (or wherever the main theatre will be in 4.87) because it gives GRN players a chance to solo-roam rather than only being able to properly perform in fleets. That gives HMS'ers & friends stuff to shoot at too.

There is still the NC hole in Manchester, not sure how inRP would it be for lawfuls to use that.

Having that wide range of enemies is exactly why the GRN doesn't have a multitude of allied tech to choose from. If they want to get cosier with Kusari - currently the only relative allied power that owns Capitals and might be convinced to trade - then they should get out there and start roleplaying for it.
Well, the GRN's problem with allies is, that if you shoot everyone, you're not going to have many. Corsairs have the same problem I suppose... Who would be a GRN ally? Corsairs are the only ones that come to mind, but the ZoI's don't even overlap.
Dev update:
Busy with station loadouts and weapons. Cleaning up a TON of old vanilla weapons out of the ini's so they're a bit cleaner. You know, those old transport turrets that didn't even tickle at 64 dmg a hit...
Also harmonising damages across the mod. IE Liberty stations will be as painful as Rheinland ones if you're hostile to them. Pirate stations also as painful as lawful ones. In terms of damage output, think small cruiser. Weapons will be heavy and ungainly, not very effective against snubs.
Weapon platforms (not the PB ones) will be a different story - those will be suited for antisnub duty, and should make a difference. They won't directly destroy people, but they'll be an asset when you're defending a station.
PB weapon turrets are split off from the capital guns that were shimmied in for them. They've got their fire rate reduced and damage buffed. Range for the weapons has also been more or less harmonised. Their hitpoints are also set insanely high, so if someone gets it in their mind to try and shoot the turrets off of a platform, they'll be at it for half an hour... Destroying the platforms itself is still an option, of course. I'm still hoping Cannon can make the platform respawn cost some resources, so that people who are sieging a base can do so by popping the platforms - should also give bombers a good role in anti-base warfare. Novas are ideal for dealing with platforms.

Ooookay, now some serious answers, please.
And is there a topic, where it is collected what kind of story changes will take place (like Gallia invading Leeds)?
