I just ignore ZA lately, pretty much like I do with the loberty lolwutz... It's just not funny... When they first appeared I thought: "Well, some new faction to spice things up in the omicrons, good..." Even so they mixed inRP with ooRP in the forums, not everyone has a "paper and dice" RP background as I do, but I saw the potential to a fun interaction in the omicrons besides running from silent engaging nomads and the (to me very boring) order/bunter core conflict... How disappointing... I was there when the classic "we at war, no rp anymore" line was dropped in, and I have like 100 screens of the Falcon reengaging that day... I joined 3 new factions after that, 'cause its not fun to be a zoner anymore...

Sadly what happens is this, you get a Order pilot etc who is hostile with zoners and so then complains when the Zoner Gaurd open fire then our stations also do. The reason the Zoner IFF was dropped, was for a simple fact that the one's attacking used that protection to assault the stations. Hence the neutral stance, that way if you shoot at the base; you get return fire.

No point setting affiliation to Zoner when its Zoners attacking.

But you know i look at the complaints etc...and i just think...you need to grow a pair and then think before you make silly demands or even wild claims of 'your all going to die' then to continue this stupidty when you failed on every threat, if in real life this happened the leader would be replaced(as his people would think him crazy by getting his people slaughtered) though they didnt with Stalin so maybe some play that type of character.

Were happy to reset Aff to Zoner only when we get the stand down of hostile groups.

As for comming out and defending the bases..

History read it, plenty of cities stood their ground and survived...why? because their garrison wasnt stupid enough to go get slaughtered.

People keep saying go out and fight....if i could say to myself...we stand a good chance...then yes id be the first out there *chuckle*

But when your outnumbered 5:1 etc...best to fall back to your strengths...

I am trying to say this for 100th time, It is that simple. If all ZA haters have logged a battleship instead of forum and skype trolling you would be gone long time ago. Also 9 months time is a lot- if your enemies wanted to kill you or had the means to remove your bases they would do so long time ago.
Also the base platform guns are quite well balanced now- big ships take damage but are hard to kill if the pilot is experienced, the platforms have no chance vs snubs (even if the BR hits on entering you they take your shield you bat fast before second volley, rest is dodgable) - so even if the bases are there it is np they create immersion of danger in space like the 4.85 berlin sigma hole and are nice reason to refresh your evading skills. They are no problem for gameplay- they are problem for "claiming stuff" type of players.
They bark in the forum because they lack those in game simple as that, also giving attention to attention whores is not good approach. The forum/skype is their playground not the game as it seems. Ignoring all ZA/Bases etc topics from now on is the best approach. If one wants to change/prove something- logg in the game and do so- simple as that.
I would give also thumbs up to Spazzy`s, Jinx´s and Jack`s posts. Kudos for you.

The fact is everyone considers themselves to be the "good guys" Inrp wise. The Phoenix are trying to protect their stations and their people. The Consensus is struggling to keep it's only supply route open, ensuring the survival of the Gammuian race. Order is struggling to prevent nomad tech proliferation. The Zoners on our side are fighting to prevent a Zoner system from being locked off. It doesn't matter that the stations are neutral, what matters is that you have the potential to do so. That's not the Zoner way guys. Seizing Liviada (or trying to), along with dumping 5k of marines on all the system stations kinda really destroyed any attempt of ZA to appear to be a peaceful, harmonious faction. The Order gets in less fights than you do.

Plus your wiki page is just one big troll sheet. Not a bit of it is Rp impartial or acknowledges the actual reasoning behind the Rp conflicts. Calling AI "Malfunctioning washing machine excuses" doesn't persuade anyone.

Find the balance Trader, and remove those stations.

If in real life this would have happened, the majority would have crushed the minority ages ago. And in this case, where Order, Phoenix (and along with them all the Zoner NPCs), Solar Runners, AI, at a point Corsairs too (and if you are continuing this, I can imagine TAZ and OSI too) are standing against your little group of ZA alone, you are the minority. Think about this. In real life there are no invincible bases.

As I was watching how your character Tri Udent acts, all like the boss, the military commander ordering his people around, seeing how Mow praises the "efforts" (lol) of ZA at their defenses and defames your enemies by claiming they fail, somehow the picture of North Korea came into my mind. It is funny you talk about growing balls then you try to justify with historical bullcrap why you lack yours to get out of your shelter and deal with the consequences of your actions. You are right, what you would most probably have to face would nothing near a fair fight, but that's because you have managed to turn almost every one of your neighbors against you.

Exactly, in the end how you play reflects what type of person you are, if you exploit game mechanics, metagame, powergame, and overall have a massive crap on your own lore while turning the community against you, then yup, guess what, it will bite you in the ass. Za did clever with not being too cocky until they had their bases all up at core4.

I am not entirely sure about that, I believe there are a few seconds upon exiting the jump tunnel enough for you to get raped by platforms. However that is just a belief, to be sure I will have to try it, and I plan to do so once I'm done with this week.

Were they told to stop by an admin? Also, The Phoenix doesn't deserve Livadia, maybe they should move to ames as they should. Regarding the blockade, well that's what happens when you spend a month shooting them. It's good to know that they don't have jinx's ship anymore, that alone would give me the strength to take them down.
You see, I believe in fairness, and its only fair for me to take someone who tried to take me, It's very easy to end this war, you metal-heads along with the fake phoenix go and do what you do best and leave them along, problem solved. They will never get the conditions they want, history has proven for the ZA that everytime they comprimise the phoenix "fu**" em over again and again, I wouldn't trust them to hold a lemonade stand, both inrp and in RL.

Actually, I was the TBH when that base shot you, but for some reason it didnt shoot me, or the AI'S - So wheres that fake notion of "za shooting us!" - In term, inrp those ZA atleast send food to crete, while you lads do.. nothing? kinda hard to convince the corsairs nower days, and its no wonder those indie corsairs are against you.

If thats how an official faction behaves, one must question it.
