Waldorf Salad here again. Hopefully i have found the right reporting centre.
Today whilst Tator and I were patrolling, between Stokes and Tau 31 Jump Gate looking for potential Smugglers we came across a Trade Ship with Samura papers. He was full of Niobium Ore. When we asked him to cut his engines he promptly docked on Stokes. Tator and I hung around and a couple of minutes later a Hedgemon Mining Ship undocked from Stokes. He also had Samura papers. When we asked what he was doing in Bretonia his reply was mining. He also added that he didn't want any trouble. We told him that he wasn't allowed to be here and that he must leave. He then promptly docked on Stokes. Whilst Tator's and my attention was focused on a Gallic Patrol the Hedgemon undocked and headed for Tau 31. I am afraid that we didn't manage to stop him before he disappeared into Tau 31.
The name of the Mining Ship was Ore-Reduction<'|'>M.02 and the Trade ship we saw a few minutes earlier had a similar name but not sure exactly how it was spelt.
I hope that this report is of sufficient help in apprehending these Criminals.

PS. Tator says that he will send in the next report
Martin landed the Paladin, wiped his brow, and took off his helmet.
First day on the job.
He keyed the "upload" button on the neural net log recorder that would constitute the evidence of his report... then sighed, and began to type on the machine's terminal, sipping occasionally from a juice box.

Immediately on receiving my transfer orders to the New London Patrol Hangar, I signed the requisition forms as requested, and made my way to Southampton Shipyard for further outfitting of Authority equipment to the Paladin-series craft I was issued, prior to the official start time of my patrol.
En-route, I encountered a pilot registered as "Caldera", and provided him with directions to the Leeds system, albeit with several warnings of the danger he would likely encounter, and advised a relatively safe route through Liberty space. He was piloting a civilian freighter and carrying a cargo of diamonds. Recording Segment 1 Recording Segment 2 Recording Segment 3
I officially began my patrol at 02:14 hours local time, from the New London Patrol Hangar. Recording Segment 4
The majority of my patrol passed without incident, other than a few encounters with low-level delinquents, under the banner of the Gaians, Mollys and Corsairs. Recording Segment 5
Towards the end of my patrol I encountered a pilot with the call-sign Jordan, who was piloting a Kusari freighter. I stopped the pilot and scanned his vessel. He bore a freelance ID and was carrying no cargo, so I let him go with a warning and wished him well on his way. Recording Segment 6 Recording Segment 7
Patrol ended at New London Patrol Hangar at 03:14 local time.

There was one notable event. I encountered an individual registered under the moniker of Ghost~of~the~Pirates en route from New London to Cambridge, but was unable to close to within scanning distance. By the time I reached Cambridge, my craft had been damaged by delinquent Corsairs and Ghost~of~the~Pirates eluded my pursuit. I was, however, able to establish a dialogue with him, the full content of which was captured by my in-cockpit recorder. He confessed to piracy in the Kingdom of Bretonia, and told me that he would treat all Police Authority personnel and craft as hostile, either fighting or running from us. He also said, though, that if the BPA and members of the ~Ghost~ syndicate were in the same system as opposing forces of the Gallic Royal Navy, that they would consider the Gallics as the priority targets, and not us. I somewhat echoed this statement, informing him that if we were in a sector that was under the threat of war, that would of course take priority. He departed through Omega 3 and I was unable to continue pursuit.
Tator and I were on patrol last night,in New London, when we can across a Gallic Transport Ship coming down the Trade Lane from the Manchester Jump Gate. We stopped the ship and also noticed that it was carrying Black Market Munitions. After a bit of talking he agreed to drop the illegal Cargo, which we promptly destroyed.
These smugglers seem, nowadays, delusional as they think that once they have dropped the cargo that they have no longer committed a crime. We told him that he had a fine to pay. He told us that he didn't have the funds to pay a fine.We informed him that we would escort him to Poole where his ship would be impounded and he would be placed under arrest until his court day.
The Criminal promptly decided to run for it. Tator and I gave chase and followed him to a hidden base in Manchester, location C3. This base's defence systems came on line as we closed towards it and we came under heavy fire. Hence to say the criminal got away by docking on this Base
Tator was already suspicious of this criminal, suspecting him of being a Gallic Spy. If this is true then we have the possibility that the Gallics are setting up a forward Stronghold within our Borders.
Crimes committed by this criminal include:
Smuggling (Black Market Munitions)
Flying a Gallic Ship
Shooting at BPA Officers
Resisting Arrest
I am afraid that I have no guncams of this encounter as they were damaged in the exchange of gunfire. Tator didn't get any either because if the buttons don't shoot guns, drop explosives or make the ship go faster he is not interested in them.
On another note we also chased, through Cambridge into New London and back into Cambridge, a Borders World Transport full of Artifacts. Eventually we managed to bring down this Criminal as he wasn't going to come quietly.
Crimes committed by this criminal include.
Smuggling (Artifacts)
Resisting Arrest
Attempting to bribe a BPA Officer (namely myself, he offered to share the profit if we let him go).
3rd and final smuggler was caught coming from Cambridge at the Jump Gate inside New London. This one was flying a Camara and also was carrying Black Market Munitions. When he was told to drop the illegal cargo he decided to run for it. At he was cruise disrupted a fight ensued and the criminal was promptly brought down(damn nippy ships).
Crimes committed by this criminal include.
Smuggling (Black Market Munitions)
Resisting Arrest
Shooting at BPA Officers

PS.I know I said that Tator was going to send in the next report but he complained of a headache and so I have done it. Between you and me I think he is pulling a fast one.
