A question about looting from NPC.

Don't know if this is the right place to post. Pardon me if I am wrong.

I want to ask if it is possible to loot equipment such as armours,scanners (esp. ones for caps) from NPC's wreck? Well, I have such a question because I see many people sell armours and scanners in the market and the price is lower than the default in game.

And please share with me experiences of the best equipment you looted from the npcs' wrecks -- exclude code names.

Dont think so.

as for why things sell for less on the forum than from NPCs in game is because of a measure of depreciation.

i.e. all the stuff is second hand and so loses a percentage of its original value.

I understand. It's just a bit confusing that people got so many armors to sell. It makes me think that they are really doing this for profit. I mean since one knows the armor can't be sold at buying price, then why would one get so many armours, which seemed to me a profitable business. Now it seems to me the reason is probably that they don't want it any more.

Wow! You are lucky! It hasn't happened to me yet.
Do you mind telling me what level of mission is it? I mean the mission reward is around what number. I have only finished missions under 2 million SCs.

Some people have stockpiles dating back to a pre-"patch" (really, FL Hook feature) era where cloning CAU8 was still possible.

To be fair, it's still possible to do such, so y'know, I just assume there's never a legit CAU8 on the market.
