That is true...a bomber can run away from a GB.
In my opinion, BS=fine and no change needed. bomber=fine and no change needed.
For those of you that think BS need guns to take out bombers should just do one of the following...
A. use it more so you can hit things, and learn weapon groups.
B. Go out and buy some time, not everything will be instant, it might take time to kill a bomber. just because it doesn't happen in the first 5 minutes doesn't mean you whine. I have spent over 2 hours taking out a group of bombers (mostly cause they ran a lot)

Having fighters to deter bombers in group fights is a fruitless effort, because due to the bomber's agility (unless it's a heavy bomber, which is another story) and their substantially higher bot/bat count, it usually takes forever to kill these bomber swarms and the caps die anyways. At least, that's what I've learned from all the fighter swarm & BS vs bomber swarm fights I've been in.

I tend to drain bombers pretty damn quickly with 5.88's, myself. Especially with these new fighter missiles which I refuse to use. Eat bombers for breakfast.

2 Scumbag: SNAC is not OP. It's easier to kill any VHF(except complete noobs) with Nova, than with SNAC.
And when bombers are killing capital ships, Novas are their primary weapon, with SNAC being secondary. You cannot flak away all torpedoes from 2 bombers, who're know what they're doing.
2 all others: Capships are meant to be killed. Seriosly, what do you want from them? VHF can run away nearly from any threat. Skilled capship player can simultaneosly kill some unskilled players in any shiptypes. But that's all.
Just to avoid any useless attack on me, I don't use missiles. Bombers in my opinion should not be able to kill battleships, but cripple it they may well can. Bombers are too op and the gap with them and battleships is stupid. Anyone that inrp has a battleship should know that two peaty bombers areno match, but then again.. They are. Either iintroduce new anti-bomber weapons to battleships, or nerf bombers drastically, this includes snac. You may begin the hate

Easier said than done, if there's 4-5 bombers bearing down on caps there's no way in hell fighter support will save them.
I think that bomber SNACs should be nerfed/removed, and that their primary method of attacking capital ships should be actual torpedos and bombs, you know, like an actual bomber should do.

And what happens to factions that do not have capital ships? Are we screwed? Should I just slap a sign on my forehead saying "Please send all capitals at me I can't do anything to you"
Oh, and if you think going out on a battleship without any sort of escort and/or allies readily available nearby should the excrement hit the oscillating blades is smart, you deserve to die to bombers.

More realistic, you're kidding right? If we're talking about realism (which is barely compatible with FL as it is) the easiest way to kill a battleship in say, the WWII era, was not to throw another battleship at it but rather planes such as dive bombers (Basically snacs), torpedo bombers (Cough, cough, novas) and kamikaze (needs to be added to the mod); or perhaps smaller more maneuverable warships that can move faster and out of range of the guns of a battleship, such would've been cheaper in terms of material and personnel investment and thus a more attractive and realistic order of battle to a commander facing multiple capital ships.
tl;dr, bad idea - bombers are not op, stop complaining.

Look up at the PROs X3...high standards...proper ship stats no matter the class...; the only way to achieve that here too is to get real involvement of Owner type of the server....and not to just let it sort out by every nerd crying ..coz now he cannot kil deat ship too iz too biig,,...Well if they wouldnt be so dam many like now and more snubs around as normal condition , it wouldnt be a problem anymore is it? and there you go disco you just got 1 grade upper..( let just caps to be some sort of cookie...but REAL on the server..)
