No difinitive rollback date was never given to my knowledge... rumours and specultion sure, I kept an eye on newsfeed on main page and utill yesterday/today no date on rollback was confirmed......
Just to clarify i have lost everything, but will start again.
I hope the majority of players that started in the last 2 months do also, but i have my doughts.

The few who has cheated stuffs i would suggest to make clear that if they keep it and got caught. they just lose it all.
But not only that it was then known that some where cheating. but how long priorly they did use it? What i did hear it was over a half year priorly to that. so i guess then a rollback to like the 1st of may this year? Not to meantion that the cheated stuffs are irrelevant as it may be. the ones having it fear to be caught with it and thus they cannot do anything with it yet hope never to be caught.
Unlike the playerbase which shrinks significantly due to players losing so much while they had summer vacation for example and did build up some nice credits and some nice ships for themselves to have fun with in the lesser times. Now they will be most likely gone as their are other newer games they can also start fresh with like GTA5, BF4 or whatever else is there new on the shells. or is upcomming soon.

As for the rollback people were warned that this would happen and thus told NOT to put too much effort into their characters as the progress would be lost!
If anyone ignored that it's only their fault to blame no one else's, if they also leave as a result of having their progress removed then they were probably not worth having around.
Fact is this was inevitable after all that happened and if your enjoy discovery you will ride the wave as this will just be washed away with surf before you know it....
Because someone doesnt trawl the forums makes them worthless does it ?
thats sad....
Anyone playin on disco would know the server had been updated to 4.87 so that was no secret, also a sticky in the first sub forum of this board entitled
4.87 Beta Release by cannon is obviously a thread about the update and contains all the info you need to be aware while playing.
So no you don't have to trowl thru the forums to find the info that was important here i.e. Rollback so don't play seriously as progress will be lost, the info was pretty easy to find also considering that thread had 14,000 views I think everyone was aware of what was going on.

Almost people think rolling back to 14th Sep, not 14th Aug. The main problem is the time between 14th Aug and 14th Sep.
exactly. not only that but all the ones who sold or moved ships or even removed accounts till the 14th of september did lose all that creds and ships as well

The problem being referred to is back before the rollback. Check YOUR dates mate. The 14 Sept was okay but a lot of people started playing back in august and the date set for this rollback is 14 Aug. As such, people who started between these two dates a) weren't aware of the update for at least 2 weeks of game time and b) have now lost everything.

This will help setup traders and the rest is history as they say so it's not all doom and gloom
Nice offer , but I will decline thanks, I will make it honestly and enjoy it more , even though i lost a lot from the two weeks before beta hit, it was mainly cash and that can be remade, now if only the wiki could be updated then im all set to start again........

Well the 10 mill is there if you have trouble setting up a trader, the hardest thing on disco is earning your first mill after that everything is plain sailing.
If you wanna restart alone then Kudos to you, Gateway will assist in anyway possible if needed
