Sleipner explaned it pretty well. But, and I found this with my file, you may need to right click and make sure the box labeled; Read-Only is NOT checked. Once it is not checked, then do Sleipner's explained method.

I've got ALL this crap under "ListServ":

Now, do I just replace the last line, or all the lines, or whatski?

That's from a version i copied to desktop..

So.. I'm using the regulare FL Desktop .exe icon, rather than the direct LAN icon, and still all I see is Disco.

Don't tell me firewall, i never had probs seeing the "old" global server.

all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.

A single space was needed in the script.xml... Stupid FLMM, worked perfectly here, but oh well, reuploaded.

Its working.
Try to not use the discovery RP Shortcut. Try the original freelancer shortcut. Thats how I got it to work.
Itsa good tool to see what other servers are out there and how there doing
