I have just witnessed the incredible. I was un-docking from Malta when I saw none other than Renato Bianchi, who once as a brother to me. You can imagine my surprise, as his funeral was only recently conducted. I even gave part of the eulogy!
However, his ship was unmistakable, although there was a slight glow to the vessel. It was slightly unnerving as I opened a communication channel and attempted to send a message. To my disbelief, the ship replied, but it was not through the normal means. I heard his voice in my head! Yes, my head! Apparently, his squadron was betrayed by one of ours, Mani. It was Mani who lead them to an ambush by the Corsairs. Renato and his squadron were killed in the fight, and now he has returned to seek vengeance.
I have requested Don Fiorentino Malavasi, my brother, to begin an investigation into the traitor and his past. Perhaps it will uncover some clue as to how this tragedy could have happened. Until then, I believe this spectre means us no harm, although perhaps some caution should be taken.
On another note, this might explain some of the strange events that have occurred on Malta recently. The visions seen by some of the citizens and perhaps even that strange house fire..
Lothario

Greetings Outcasts.
Today I entered the skirmish that erupted in Tau 37 with the BSG and CR. It's one of the largest fights I've had the privilege of joining. The fight lasted a long time, several hours in fact, since the asteroid field around Falkland made dodging much easier. Both sides gained an advantage at some point or another, but I myself was forced to eject after a mini-razor hit before the battle could be resolved. I don't know the outcome, but so many Outcasts were involved that I'm sure others will have news.
My pod was scooped up and taken to the local Freeport, and then I was shuttled to Alpha. So far, I haven't run into anyone involved in the fight... I hope all are well.

Mia,
With the help of La Malvasi, I've been able to get my Sabre decked, en route to Palmero at the moment. I seem to need to readjust to Malta's atmosphere.

Fiorentino, the Don of the Malvasi family has placed a call to all members of the family to return to the Malvasi villa on Malta. The purpose of this meeting is unknown, and the suspicions that I do have shall be kept to myself for now..
I shall be travelling to the villa forthwith, along with Santino and Silvana. We will be absent from 66th wing activities for approximately one month.
Until then, fly true and stay safe.
Lothario

Hello all. I launched from Malta for some fresh air (or vacuum, however you like) when I spotted 2 =CR= ships flying by Malta. I slammed the throttle and pursued, and once they realized they could not escape, they resigned themselves to fate, and engaged me. Though a 2-on-1 fight, I considered it barely a fair fight, with the favor on my side. This turned out to be true, as Infernos ripped their shields apart, Krakens their hull, and the mines and missiles added to the destruction. In the end, the two were sent straight to Hell by me, and we have 2 less miners playing at soldiers cluttering the sky.

Excellent work, Gio. These two pilots are unregistered; did the CR come back for the escape pods or did they run out of oxygen? We pray for the latter, of course...whatever, seems like the CR are getting dumber and dumber every day... at least their lower pilots are.

Beware of BHG Core ships. Sources indicate that they have been hired to directly attack Malta en masse. All ships of any class and whatever means necessary to drive back the Bounty Hunter ingrates are authorized, up to including Artificial Quantum Singularity Torpedoes and the Planetary Defense Grid. All Capital Ships are to be on the prowl. Bonello out.

Yesterday, I launched from Malta to see 5 BROTHERHOOD SHIPS, all Titans, on long-range scans. Right after I launched, one was destroyed (presumably by our lesser brethren [[NPCs]]) and the rest said they'd like to visit the Hispania, also commenting that Malta's defense grid was operational. Well, I couldn't let them desecrate the Hispania, so I engaged the 4 Titans alone. I was beating on one, who started launching mines while running. One of his commrades launched a cruise disruptor, which blew up a mine on his hull, thus ending his life.
Quickly changing targets, I gave the next one the Inferno-Mine punch, and he died a full 5 seconds after the first one. Ships were beginning to respond (including a Hessian Cruiser, Hacker Gunship, and Spatial) and I got on one Titan, while the other one was dealt with by the new ships, though the Cruiser left once it realized how dishonorable the fight was with its presence.
The fighter I was on quickly withdrew after leading me on quite a chase, and the last one was destroyed shortly thereafter. All in all, a good day.

***Re: Good Man!***
Good man, Gio! Sorry I wasn't handy, I've been dealing with paperwork galore back at Corsica, and the damn church bells won't shut up...I'm helping the shipwrights work on the new Paladin-class Gunboat. I'll see if I can get out from under this mound of paper later and fly with you for a while.

I think now is the appropriate time to congratulate all of you on your promotions. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then you've been sleeping for the last week. The Redesignation requests are in, and I expect things to sail smoothly.

Hello brothers and sisters.
As you may or may not have noticed, I've been stuck on the ground for a good long time. There've been some problems within the Martinez family that are being resolved, and we agreed to lock up the keys to our respective ships until the problems could be resolved. We're hoping this tactic will keep someone from getting frustrated and taking off. It is possible I can make brief sorties with you, but not very often. My apologies. I'll keep in touch as best I can until things are back to normal.
Oh, and thanks for the promotion Commander! It came as quite the surprise!
OOC: Sorry all. I've been pretty busy lately with school and work and haven't had time to log on for awhile. Hopefully beginning next week I'll be able to get back into the swing of things. Just thought I'd give you a heads up.
