Ive spent the last two days in our combat simulator at at Alexandria (Open SP) with our bomber. It flew pretty good. Strafes great and the hull can take a beating. The only draw back was the mobility. But made up for it in pure raw firepower.
With this set up it proved itself effective during the simulator against BH Hammerheads
2x Colada
2x Excalibur
1 Supernova
Its good on power and effective versus shields and hull. i might have just found my secondary fighter/bomber.

Im sorry my brothers but i wont be able to get on as often as i have previously. My flight systems have gone erratic and look to be corrupted. (Computer shuts off randomly) I will try to get on when i can but there will be no guarantees. (Going by the fact that there are 3 people who use the computer that isnt effected and one of them is a computer addict) I hope to be in space as much as i can.
"hey, guys - bet you allmost forgot about your little allies in bretonia, han t you? - ah, but i ll get to the point. piracy becomes more and more of a troublesome issue these days; with the cooperations deploying bigger and badder transport fortresses.
the recent new line of transport self defense weapons aswell as stronger shields made my little fighter allmost useless to do my job over here in leeds. so i think to meself that i need sumthing bigger to counter this. since our own engeneers here on islay or in lewis do not do stuff like big, bad bombers, and our brothers in arms, the alliance doesn t do those shipclass either, its just natural to ask you over there on your rocky planet.
i know you guys dun t like to share your ships much, but mind that we do a vital job here in bretonia aswell. furthermore, the mollys, our natural enemies have deployed more than a whole fleet of big warships recently, supported by the outcasts.
well, whatever me reasons - i d love to fly one of your bombers that you sell on crete. been over there just today and inspected those machines. - i cannot say i am overall impressed. its clumpsy, crudely shaped and anything but a beauty. - but it should be a good tool to scare traders into running back to their mommys crying.
so, consider that, please and gimme an answer, - untill then, i ll be forced to hang out at the bar, cause my last ship was blown to bits by the BPA.

"i thank ya very much. this decission is indeed very much appreciated. i will set off islay, once i can get a passage from this rock we call a home. i do hope that such fearsome gear like this piece of hardware will convince those fat traders to shiver and donate by the sheer sight of it - which is much more comfortable than letting the weapons speak.
and i will love to put a few bombs into the corrupt mollys hearts as they strut around leeds as if it was theirs allready.

"I have to send troublesome news. Today, a nomad invasion took place in omicron-delta. judging from the images i received from our satelite uplink, it was one battleship and two gunships that approached Freeport 11.
As that enemy fleet was way too much to fight against, i decided to stay hidden for the time being, not like i have much of a choice. the weeks in the nebula have cooled the reactor down some, and it would take hours to power it up to cruise again, - nasty old ships.
however, i was in direct communication with one corsair cruiser, that happened to be in the way of the nomads. as predicted, the nomads acted mostly passive to the absense of the persephone and the station itself was spared.
the corsair cruisers captain initiated a brave, but, i daresay too dangerous attempt to communicate with the alien beasts - against my advice. at first, there appeared to be some motion, as the captain "sensed" something like a reply, but after a little period of ... what i can only call, a time of consideration from the aliens, they attacked and disabled the cruiser within seconds.
so, in case you wonder where the corsair cruiser "mira" went, - it was attacked and destroyed by nomads today. - shortly after the destruction, the alien ships disappeared from the long range sensors of the satelite uplink.
nither freeport11, nor yaren outpost were attacked, - so it was most probably what i would call a "patrol" flight of those abominations.

My brothers, I am sorry to report the success of an Outcast attack today. They attacked Gamma as I hoped into my Titan. I, Lucendez, and Globalo all flew to the Theta jump hole. Two OPG gunboats were attacking a Red Hessian cruiser. There were three or four Outcast bombers...they had no chance, I can only hope their crews got out in time. Our Titan's were slowly getting ripped apart, Globalo went down. Soon backup arrived, another gunboat and a cruiser...both were destroyed. I prayed we would get more backup. It came. Two Corsair fighters and two CR fighters. The battle was on our side as soon as the enemy cruiser was destroyed. The Outcasts knew this and ran. We all followed to Eta but then turned around.
As I an Lucendez were flying back home, we encountered Lohigren, he jumped into Eta and we followed and engaged along with two of our Titans and a Praetorian helping. He was going evasive, until his backup arrived. Another Sabre and a gunboat. Soon two more came, a bomber and a fighter. Lucendez had an engine malfunction and had to pull out. The fight was desperate...I perservered and destroyed the outcast bomber. Chico had to run from heavy fire, as did the other fighter helping me. Now it was only me and the bomber against three fighters and a gunboat. I force fed a mine into the mouth of one of the Sabres. My brother in the bomber had to run. I was left alone. I fought for as long as I could, but was forced to retreat due to the gunboat.
I did my best brothers, I ask only that these fools in the capital ships stay out of the fight when ordered to, else the day would've been ours.

Hola brothers, today I fought a great battle against the Outcasts, and won! I was contacted by a Farmer purchasing weapons in our lands, he said there were two Outcast bombers in Omega-5. I hopped in my bomber and was contacted by a mercenary, he said I would get five million credits for destroying the Outcasts. I arrived and engaged the two bombers, the mercenary showed up, in a gunboat...what a fool, he was destroyed easily by the Outcasts. I fought on until a pirate gunboat showed up, he helped me, and died quickly as well. Fools...after the distractions were gone I force fed a supernova to one of hte bombers. The other was hit twice, one knocked off his codenamed gun, the other slammed into his cockpit. I returned hoping to get some ale at Crete, I would have to wait longer. Another Outcast came! This time in a Sabre, my regenerrations were low, but I fought on. Two of his missles struck my hull, I was thrown of my seat as sparks flew everywhere. I got back into the control area, I had lost my counter measures, a colada and my train cruise disruptor. I began frantically spewing mines as soon as I removed his shield, it payed off, as I was jousting him a mine came from behind and blindsided him. Three Outcasts down! I made it home and enjoyed that nice bit of ale.

Brothers and sisters. i have some interessing news. now i am on crete and i am waiting until engineers complete my ship from parts that was rescued from theta.yes you hear right. theta. as you all know in theta is ceasefire, but, maybe was. because today happend this:
today some of our people was attacked by BH scum in theta,without word,he feel strong in his orca so i come to space and fly to theta ask him why he attack corsairs without word when in theta is ceasefire, when i see him on scanner i cut engines and wait for him to come closer, but before i can open comunication he open fire and make little damage to my shield.then my guns start fire to him and you know how that must end.bh explode.but then my scanners show me AW corada undockign freeport. i was thinking he hear the explosion and come to take a look what happend and maybe explain me why bh attack us without word and aw has nothign again that. but the situation end different. in the end was my ship destroyed, and i was rescued by our partol. but i must say that the destroyer was also not undamaged without bats and with not full nanobots i was able to destroy his shield 2 times and make some damage on hull. but still my ship explode.
and what i will say with this words is, is still ceasefire in theta? it is our wish to accept the ceasefire that was idea of AW when aw attack me only because i was asking something? or can we accept that bh can attack us in theta and AW has nothing again that? this is not first time that was corsair attacked by AW, and i good remember how loud scream AW leaders when someone from our new brothers open fire in theta to someone. so we can not and others can attack us? here are some pictures from camera on board of tinky:

As seeing Tinky's experience in Theta, I recommend that we send a message to the leader of AW informing them about this one operative of theres who does not know of the Ceasefire.
On to other news. I am happy to inform that my bomber designated Gonzales.B[TBH] is now ready for combat.
Our bank gave me some weapons and I used personal funds to complete the ship with the best Corsairs have to offer.
My IFF and ID are both set to Corsair.
