That sounds like a very good solution to me. One guard system done away with and made into a useful member of society.

Indeed (a.k.a. "cut the amount of buffer systems", although you seem to be doing the exact opposite with the Alpha-Gamma path; I don't care about getting to Alpha, just the Taus).

Cayman plans are still very tentative and not ready for public release. However, four Zoner bases in the space of two adjoining systems is overkill; it's probable that one base each in Omega-50 and 49 will change hands to other local factions.
Lanz is really only useful as a place to park caps. No big loss there.
But both pueblo bonito and boa vista have RP associated with them. The people who administrate those bases aren't going to be happy.
You also didn't mention giving us anything new and interesting, just... moving or removing stuff we already have.
So your plan is... nerf all the things? :/
I think you mean Porto Novo. I welcome contact from the current station administrators if they have queries or complaints.
Moving around bases, particularly crossing between Lambda and 74, could potentially lead to interesting situations. Don't think of it like a nerf (because I'm not nerfing your imagination, which is the primary factor in roleplay), but more like Robin Hood: taking from a faction which has too much and giving it to faction(s) which could better use it to generate activity in the region.

You also need to take into account system size and distance between jump holes, not just the number of systems. The proposed Alpha-Gamma route is shorter overall, as it avoids Lambda, which is very large and mostly empty.

Er, yeah. Got the base names crossed in my brain. Whoops.
I'll see if I can get their attention and point them here. It's likely they have no idea the carpet's about to be pulled out from under them.

It's a nerf.
I can't dock with an imaginary base. I can't roleplay with the administrator of an imaginary base.
If you give Lanzarote to another faction, we can't really base our capital ships out of there anymore, so we will need to use a POB or whatever we have left in 50. And we will have less influence in the region overall.
I assume, then, that if you're declaring we have 'too much', that you're completely against the idea I proposed?
Not bad at all. As for 74, imo better to connect holes inbetween of Lambda and Zeta and remove kappa jh. Keep holes in 74 on huge distance, with current size of system. Remove lost.

The suggestion is: Add all the systems you want to delete and move them to the omicrons. Make them all deep nomad space linked to Iota or 99 with a high level NPCs and strange bases. Let Treewyrm experiment there.
Interesting, but it's not a good idea in the long term. This would simply shift the issue of excess unpopulated systems to a different region. If systems can be properly deleted, then we may as well do just that. Besides, I think Treewyrm has enough "raw material" to spice up the current Nomad Omicrons by recycling existing systems and bases.
To expand on this, i was thinking of those added systems like a kind of high level PVE dungeon, where daring individuals/groups could fight their way to a final system (vanilla style dyson sphere), and recover some rare artefact of some sort.
That's fine. It was just one idea, though I thought it was a good one.
What bothers me is that all of his intended changes to Zoner bases are either removals or relocations of things we already have. Nothing new is being added to represent what the Zoners are doing next; it's stagnation for the faction's lore.
For the love of God delete Om-Zeta.That system killed the game for
Order,BHG|Core,Nomads,Saires and Zoners in Omicrons.
It has no use, only forcing players fly 300k until they meet someone in Delta.
Put Delta jh in Minor where it belongs.Delta is natural crossroad in Omicrons, all factions are there.
