[Doc Holliday]

In the ensuing chaos, Doc instinctively drew his pistols looking for a shooter. His guard staff did the same.
"Doc!" hollered one of them, "it came from a long way. Sniper shot." The guard looked down at the injured, "With all due respect, I think you have patients."

There was shattered glass everywhere. Several were injured by shards of glass to include Doc himself albeit not seriously. He attended to the fallen Corsair, placing his fingers at his neck to check for a pulse. Doc could only look up to Ladron and shake his head. One of his staff brought out a sheet to cover him.

Assisting Doc was his wife who herself was a nurse. They bandaged those who needed it. Bar staff tried to work with the remaining Corsair guards to figure out where the shot came from but no one really knew. The shooter used the chaos to escape.

With the wounded tended to, a still bleeding Doc began the clean up, ordering a new window on his datapad. He turned to Comisario Ladron, "Keep your head down, Senor, they may well be readying for another shot." He then motioned him out of view. Doc stayed with him. For all he knew, it may have been for him.
"Damn this occupation!" he blared out loud.

After spending ten minutes under a table, El Comisario bravely showed up his face. Two of his Carabineros immediately jumped on to cover him, but most of his body was left uncovered anyway. He checked briefly if there are any holes on his new suite.

Than he noticed Doc, with hands covered by guard's blood.

I think you all know how lucky you are it's not MY blood...

El Comisario turned on his high heels and left to the door.

Vamos, my brave Carabineros! New assignment is waiting for us. We must protect Chilly Road now. Leave those loco Zoners kill eachother here.


Than he turned back, grabbed the wine and left again. This time for good.

Meanwhile Eveline, her sister and two guardsmen left her transport and they went to the White Buffalo Saloon. They arrived few minutes after incident and their faces were full of astonishing. Eveline and her sister Chloé notices blood and broken window. They silently entered bar and went to the Doc.

Bonjour Monsieur ... Please can you tell me what happened here??

She said silenty. Then she looked around for injured people, but she noticed only injured waiter. She looked sadly at him and then at Doc.

"This happened because of us???

First tall guardsman went help to the window and second one helped with blood. Her sister Chloé came to Doc's wife and helped her with injured waiter.

having needing to spend a few days in the Local hospital after his challange to the Order Admiral, Voncloud enters the saloon a few moments after Eveline. His Arm still in a cast, his ear wrapped in bandage and one of his eyes covered over by a patch.
The fox looks at the mess, the injured and the apparant dead body under the sheet. He grumbles

"I presume im a little late to the party.."

* Crimson enters the White Bufffalo, and thinks* " Nice one!!! Isn't like those dump holes on stations!! I like it!* He looks to the window here Marius failed the shot. " No wonder he is angry!!! Is almost a creal shot! Well ... let's go the bar and hope that the drinks are as good has the window glass!*

* He goes to the counter and talks to the bartender*

- Crimson - Hello lad. Give me your finnest whiskey! The same that the boss drinks!. * The bartender pours some a glass * Hey!! Is that for me to drink or toaste ir?! * The bartender pours a litle more, nad gives it to Crimson that takes the glass, smells it .. and drinks all in one shot. * It will do! Give me more and you can leave the bottle there lad. By the way ... my name is Crimson Skies! remember it ok?!* He takes the glass and looks around .. see the people and thinks " I think i'm going to like this!"

[Doc Holliday]

It was a quieter time when Doc came into White Buffalo. He had arrived awhile before opening to go through the books. He had also sent a message to an old acquaintance to meet him. Satisfied with the books, he ordered a drink and instructed his barkeep and staff to direct his guest to his private table. With that, Doc took his drink and retreated to that table. As he waited, he pulled out a fresh pack of playing cards and started in with some Solitaire.

* Crimson receives the message! He tried to get up the chair but he can't. He tries again and almost falls!*

- Bartender - Sir do you need help?!

- Crimson - Don't *hic* worry lad!! Is just a question of balance! * He takes the bottle and stands up and walk a few steps, and turns around to the bartender " See?! Is just a question of balance!!!

*He walks to Doc, has he arrives to Doc's table he puts down the bottle"

- Crimson - Damn!! I forgot the glasses!! One second! " He tries to return to the bartender to get some glasses, but he almost fall. " Don't worry Doc!!! Is just a question of balance!! * He picks again he bottle and manage to go to the bartender and get some glasses, and return to Doc. He sits and then start to pours some whiskey to the glasses, barely he manage to not spill any drop of it, and gives one to Doc* It's a good one *hic*! I have to say that isn't as good as the one the our friend *hic* gave to you but is ok *he smiles*. Now ... * he looks to the game and don't understand a bit * ... well ... ok!! Luckly we are not here to *hic* talk about cards but ... * he looks around* about some ... ahhhh.. farming! Yes! Farming * he looks around again and winks to Doc!! But let me intruduce my self! They call me *hic* .. is not hic! Hic was the stupid *hic* .. very stupid hiccup! !! They call me Crimson Skies, and we have a mutual friend *hic* ... that likes o farm!! *winks again*! Last time i saw him, he was farming very well, just some pest was tying to ruin the cultures, but *hic* people are now getting new equipment and learn how to fight this pest, and now are returning to their farms, and to get their normal lifes! *hic* But ... that pest are still around in some locations!! We could go there and kill it but is too risky and we don't have the equipment to do it!! *he drinks some* All this talking makes *hic* ... i hate this!!! But we are still concern because there isn't still a plan ot global protection against this infestation, and if it returns again like last time *hic* ... well you know it!!! We also fear that another infestation could come from the north ... you know the north? Now it is not far, and if some Zon ... traveler makes a mistake, it could bring that infestation to Gran Canaria!! We all know what that infestation from the north made to the culture of planet that leads *winks* and what it could do here on Gran Canaria!! If Port Canaria is safe, as also few more .. farms , not even 90% of the crops are safe!!! A global protection is still need it! *hic* *drinks a bit, looks to Doc game* Well ... that loks nice!! *smiles*

Doc gave a "this guy is good" type of smile.
"Crimson, it is a pleasure to meet you," he said as he took the offered glass and drank from it.

Doc listened carefully, giving a nod or two of approval. He gave a few laughs as well to keep with the "confused" chatter. He kept an in-obvious watch, looking to the sides with his eyes to be sure no one was trying to eavesdrop.....and no one was.

He finished his glass. Putting it down, he took the bottle and re-filled his and then Crimsons. "Yes, crop infestation can be a problem," he stated, "we must be watchful and vigilant. Losing our crops to this could be a disaster. I will make sure the tools and equipment is available to handle it now and in the future."

He then raised his glass to Crimson.

*Crimson smiles. He tries to toast with Doc but he misses Doc's glass! He tries again and misses again!!*

- Don't move!!! * He closes one eyes like he was aiming , hesitates a bit, and then he manage to hit Doc' s glass, and gives a big smile for his achievement!* I kind like to *hic* be here!! To bad our friend isn't here! He *hic* is there on the field helping taking care of the crops .. making shelters for people protect from those *hic* pests!! *hic* But ... * a good looking women passes by then with neckline that draws attention * Hello lady! * the woman passes ignoring Crimson* Yes i like you to! Congratulations to your plastic surgeon! * laughs and turns o Doc* Damn Doc we don't see that on Freeports *hic* bars! There are a lot of woem there but *hic* most are like men! Drink a lot, fight a lot ... *laughing" i remember once in Freeport 9 ... ih ih ih ... a Bounty Hunter woman beat all the Corsairs in a drinking contest, and their squadron leader was so angry that order then to return to Crete but ... ah ah ah .. insted they enter their ships ... ah ah ah .. they enter a Dromedary that was going to Freeport 10!! Can you imagine their faces when the woke up?! *laughs* But the best thing is when *hic* they start to drink and start to alk, and say thing that they shoudn't *winks*! And then they go outside teh station and start to fight *hic* and ... ih ih ih .. they are so drunk that they can hit each other *laughs* and then return to the bar angry and drink more and fall asleep ... ih ih ih .. hugging each other *laughs*. But is nice!! Sometimes we have a lo of fun ... that helps forgeting some .. things of the pass *Crimson become sad, remembering what he have lost long time ago!* But ... what is pass is pass! I really like it here! And is *very*clean!!! But i don't see any big drinkers!! *looks arund* Naaahhhh!!! Good drinkers are those big guys of Freeport 6! They like *hic* a kind of hot wine!!! I don't like very much, but i never say no if you understand what i mean *smiles*! Once ... ih ih ih ... one decided to make a contest with me and lost *laughs* but th best part was that he throw up over ... ih ih ih ... that Malock ... Mamock ... over their leader *laughs* and he was so angry that hit him so hard that almost flew from one side of the bar to the other *laughs*! They are really ugly but good guys! At *hic* least they know how to drink * big smile* Che*hic*ers

It had been some time since Doc had been into the establishment he had opened in Port Canaria. For a short time, it saw a down turn in customers after the assassination attempt of a Corsair official but in time, the crowds returned and in larger numbers. It was largely a Zoner bar and after a long time away, Doc returned to it.

"It's been a long time, John," greeted the bartender, Norman, "despite your absence, despite the climate changes, things are well. I've added some hot alcoholic mixes to the menu which have helped." With a short pause, he added, "What you drinking, John?"
Doc looked around with a smile of approval. People were having fun talking, drinking and having a good time. Even though one couple in the corner should probably get a room, they were left alone. "Um......coffee. Black."
As Norman poured his coffee, he gave his sorrows about his divorce. "Sorry about you and Midori, boss. She was a sweetheart and a fine addition here."

"She was," Doc smiled weakly in response, taking a sip of his coffee, "But I'm not bitter. I left her awhile ago with work. She's happy now. Somewhere, someday, I'll find someone else."

"So what are you up to, Doc?" asked Norman as he wiped down the bar.
"Well, I'm staying at the Estate for a few days. It's cold but inside it's still quite nice."
He took another sip, "I've been building up Med Force Enterprises. Medicine and research are my callings."
"No more TAZ I here," commented Norman.
"Nope. I gave all I could to them. They will be fine..." Doc shrugged and smiled, "...and I can always visit if I like."

"Want to review the books here, Doc?" asked Norman.
"Nah!" snapped back Doc. "I'm here to relax and enjoy."

"Well then, holler if you need anything," replied Norman, "I'll be helping customers."
Doc raised his cup, smiled and sipped. It was nice being back at the Buffalo.
