As a guy who runs another quasilawful faction, I approve.

Furthermore, with some of Gallia being condensed in 4.88 to make it smaller, why not repurpose a base from there into a VR one? That's better than just creating tons of new bases when we could reduce overcrowding elsewhere.

Only downside would be the Gallics docked on those bases coming out for a bit of a shock, but some stations likely won't have many people on them at all.

I like this idea, though. I don't have much experience with them, granted, but it's always seemed a bit weird that while VR-/Natio Octopus "technically" base out of Kansas, they don't actually have any bases or anything concrete in the entire system.

Well, the faction was aware that the system lacks any bases when they got together. That said, it's certainly not the worst idea ever proposed for the mod, and I'm sure that with enough searching, a base entry could be repurposed as a VR base in Kansas (though it'd have to be Freelancer IFF since there's VR NPC faction). It's not a decision I'd make on my own, though, as I'm slightly biased in their favour. Some more non-VR lackeys posting here would help balance out opinions... though a Dev Team vote would be more substantial.

Look at Vespucci HF became official, took it over from the hackers, now it's not used.
Why give it over to another Official Faction, that very well (Not saying it will) Do the same thing after 4-8 months.
