I don't think a fully automated board is the way to go. Somehow making the current one less of a chore would be nice, I suppose. But then again, if you - unlike me - claim kills immediately, it's pretty doable. Just don't let them pile up and turn into a giant, demotivating folder of screenshots, and you're good (:
While the current system is quite a chore, I dont think anything automated will be good for a simple reason that it cant be supervised.
I hate your ships? Fine then I will just make random restarts and put bounties on them.
Quite an extreme I figure, but you get the vibe.
Would it be possible for Disco to generate "kill mails" like in EVE with:
-Location of kill
-Details of the target's equipment / ID
-Confirmation of killer / killers (perhaps a list of who did what amount of dmg to the ship, again like Eve)
-Timestamp
And have it delivered to the character's in-game inbox?

I'm pretty sure it can.
I was referring to an automated bounty only for individuals. I agree that the wording in the initial post could have been better. We get to keep the forum based one for ID's.

Rank is not important, you still have to follow the server rules, and they say you can't kill under level 30.
