Well, as a lot of people know, my main task is just to help others in all I can.
For this, I do two things:
1. Mining helium for free
2. Helping with any questions I can answer (logic hehehe)
Happens, my mining task its a bit... slow due the constantly droping the loads. This allow to eveybody just to come and use tractor beam, so no wasted time mining it for they.
So, my request: Can I use my laptop for deploy my transport, park it close to my miner ship for piling the ores?. Its much more faster to fill a transport and then drop the load, than constantly droping. Also, less polygons to render on space hehehehe

Also, it's a game. It's your choice what to do with your space bucks or assets, but charities are unneccesary and sometimes cause unwanted behavior in players.
Also, multiboxing is against the rules even if on multiple computers.
No atmosphere? GTFO.
The propeller is the greatest invention of all time.
Quote:Following actions are considered cheating on server:
Single player having more than one instance of Discovery open to fly their own characters.
I don't think you're going to get permission.
Well, i think that rule is intended for that players looking for own profit. This is not my case, the money its not my objective. Its only for helping my mining task.
I also requested some things for mining help, for example to use the droped load like a ship cargo, so targeting the droped load and continue filling it up (like a cargo hold) but if its imposible, a "Drop all cargo" key, but i never has response.
Just my intention its to pile the loads, for use less space in space and to can mine a bit faster, thats all.

What do you mean with multiboxing?
Multiboxing is keeping several instances of the game open at once, even if on another computer, it is considered mutliboxing.
You shouldn't have asked for permission. If you have another computer in your house playing the game at the same time as you, there's no telling you're the one behind them both. I sometimes have my brother playing discovery in the same house, at the same time. I could be behind both, but then again how are they going to tell? I don't get banned or sanctioned because another connection is being made from the same IP.
I'm not encouraging you to do it. If you were to be behind both computers, even if it was for charity, I would consider it cheating as you have two or more instances of the game open for yourself.

Well, i prefer to ask than act against rules hehehe. I know there are a lot of people using "multiboxing" but if its against rules, better dont do it, thats why im asking for permision.
Also, i think this "cheat" would be a "cheat" if you are acting for your own profit, not my case, due i will earn nothing extra with this, just avoid to drop several things on space. Well... i will earn only time hehehehe.
If admins reject me the permision... please, consider the feature "Use droped loads as cargo holds", that will help us a lot in mining task. If this is not possible, please "Drop all cargo" key would be enough, but it still be a lot of things floating on space.
charity is a word that shouldn't really exist in video games.
you could have a buddy start you off with a bit of space bucks or even get you a bs if he has the credits to spare, but offering free credits to anonymous ppl in general is just a bad idea. It's not like it doesn't happen in real life, it's just highly unlikely and generally weird irp.

no no!! you misundertood it, hehehe. I just help with the mining, not with credits. My charity task acept credits.
Maybe you hear this before "Helium Charity! Sector 4E (up/right corner) Donations welcome (not required)".
My intention its just to help to small ships for starting, just saving time in the mining task. They pick up the helium i already mined and then they will move to sell where they want. Thats all. Not giving credits! We are on crisis! hahahaha.
Sometimes, but not much times, a friend with a FireFly comes and help me to pile it, but... normaly im alone mining. Thats the cause of the request.
