On a serious note.
It is highly unlikely that no LF cant mount its max shield class.While wiki is outdated it shows that you get a C10 shield for LF and HF while they cant mount more then C9(HF) and C8(LF).
So I would say just hunt for a shield that your snub can take.

I think enough discussion about shields, they are ok. Dodge better. The only thing to do, in my opinion, to rebalance pulses. And perhaps to some LFs add some armor to not die by Sidewinger. Only few people know how to use CM correctly.

Yes, let me be clear that I am not actually petitioning for anything balance-wise Detale. I simply was asking a question regarding the (as far as I know) unmountable LF shield tier.

It doesn't seem as if anyone has an answer. I am tempted to pm a mod and just check what that is about. I suspect it is either something that should have been taken out of the game, or not be level 9.

Well I what im getting at is (i use a LF too btw) i thought you ment that the LF shields were just too weak.

But when you say that the shields SAY that they are LIGHT FIGHTER shields and then cant be mounted on a LIGHT FIGHTER then i get confused.

Next time you are at a base (preferably one that sells a light fighter, but most bases have the equipment in question), scroll down through the shields you can't mount. You'll see what I mean.
