With the basis of rule 0.0 for the server and our such on fair play, I had a thought come to my head that came along while dealing with and seeing a few applications as of late.
Would you join a faction if the faction leader told you to retconn years of RP with your current character in applying?
Ex. Lets say you had years of RP behind a Woman character in order to solidify your actions within the application, And I told you that the only way you could join is if your character was a Man.
Would you retconn all that just to join the faction?
Should the Faction Leaders be willing to compromise in order to adapt the said Faction and to help keep it populated or possibly evolve as well?
Note: Question is not about gender, but a person's character in general.

It depends. What faction are you trying to join. As the leader of the [GC] if you had come to me i would have told you to go to the dragons. But that is besides the point. Im not sure what you are asking here
I dunno man. If the character is unsuitable to the corporation or faction then you deny the application. You don't have to join the faction, if they say that you need to change your character to female then you can equally tell them to go jump in the lake. Although I'm not sure why they would insist on that change.
[7:09:20 PM] Blackstarr: the answer id give is it all depends on the faction. if the faction's background relies on gender then yes. make a char of the gender specified or gtfo. if the faction background doesnt hing on a gender standpoint then no i dont think they should be able to force you to retconn
Imagine it started an with attempt to join Order| as a furry.
There are some limits and boundaries to given universe and your inability to differientate between valid RP character and talking dog is not an excuse.
That was fairly directed of you, Omicron. Assuming if that is what SMI is alluding to, Sirius is already populated with a small number of them if we take his (and a load of others') Rp as canonic. You cannot change that fact even if you attempted to.
There are limits, but everything can be RP'd. I can imagine a male who is dissatisfied with how Kusari treats women joining the GC, no issues there.
A known infected (as known by the recruiter) joining Order? Possibly a no. A Bretonian joining the GRN whilst signing off with "for queen and country"? No. A foreigner joining Zenos? No.

Some people need to know being told "No" is ok. And some people need to learn that when told "No" there's probs a good reason. People don't have to cater to others. Don't like it? Blackjack and Hooker that crap.
Though I doubt this is about being a woman and is more about your need to staple animal parts over all of your characters.
