I said, in my first post, is not to give 5k and caps to newbies. And you never understand, do you?
Factions are still donating ships to new recruits who dont have a new one. And getting a ship adds to their advantage. You still have not spoken one good thing that might happen, by donating illustrous ships to newbies. I am not against helping them though. But not this kind of help, that makes them devoid of grinding tough to make cash.
Overall, your point is that, newbies should get new ships easily without effort, then thisis no game and there is no meaning to it.
I have donated my ships to IMG when I was on the verge of leaving. So, you can never point at me saying that " do not give ships to anyone". Raise valid points, instead of dumb reasons that " my friends left because they couldnt get easy pies". Thats why I suggesed SP, easy money and no interactions whatsoever. :|
EDIT: And why the hell should a faction member work to fill its coffer all day long? They can donate when there is a need though, like submitting faction request, or for some RP events. If at all a new guy wants free ship, let him join a faction, which does good on many levels, for his RP, for the faction activity and much more. If he gets a ship, all he does is, ftw, I am flying this until I get a BS and give no damn to player interaction. Not their fault, since they wont know that RP is the real fun in their first few days.
1 I never said give them 5k and caps Just give them somthing that they can enjoy the game . I am against giving them caps because they will just go on a rampage and then once get get shot down by a few bombers, Rage quit
2 Then why have factions if members wont be willing grind a few hours a day to help it prosper in RP ?
3 So i guess that having more people to interact isnt good enough for you
4 Wow and you are telling me i can't read i didn't say that you are against giving ships. I get you, you want people to earn their ships i want that too, but helping a newb will make him your friend and he will play because 'HE HAS A FRIEND IN GAME'. Honestly do you play FL disco because its such a flawless game or is it because of the people you met ?
Seriously dude. Giving peeps free stuff helps in a lot of interactions? And I am against interactions. Oh gawd.
Are you in any faction? I helped a lot of new people, but not by giving them cash. Instead I tell them trade routes in game and make them play more. That promotes interactions and you tell i dont like interactions. Whatever is floating your boat.
I have seen a lot of people earn a lot and then just leave the game after a few weeks. Help is not JUST MONETARY HELP. Thats the worst kind of help according to me.
If you like giving ships and money, give 20/30 million, or buy him a mammoth fully equipped. Not more than that. I am not against giving stuff to people, you may take me jealous, but the point is, what do they do after that. Have you tried interacting with 5k carrying ore. Most of the time, you never get a reply, if they are not faction tagged ships.
Giving ships to factions, indirectly makes people join factions. Since the factions can provide them free ships on applying. And as far as I have seen on here, only tagged members provide the best interaction while on their traders. You can say all kind of things, but practically, that does no good, than just for the recieveing players releif that he got a new ship.
And I am not against new players getting ships. The ships I donated to IMG, they are distributed to new players. And I am happy about that. Because, they joined IMG and that their interaction quality will improve a lot. But if I had given them away to random newbies, they continue to stay in the same level of RP that they are in now, i.e, nil.
All I suggested, leads to good interactions, faction members dont need to give everything to their faction coffers(its not their duty, still I am in factions, wherein people donate to the faction when and where possible, if they are able to).
Your last point, irrelevant, and I dont even...nvm

bud, hate to tell you, I flew around in a civilian shuttle until I could buy my first fighter. then I did missi8ns and missions and missions , until I had a bomber, a fighter, a LF and some 20 million. that was when I bought a miner and a kamome, made my first 50 mil. then I boight my second miner. then my first large trans. a kujira . then I have come a long way.
nowadays, you kids got a restart for beginners. I have tried it myself. there is a base in penny for you nubs, that buys Helium at insane prices. tried mining yet?
I suggest you dont make such comments. nobody has paid a single penny to play. nobody is treated unfairly. try to enjoy it, instead of criticizing it. I know that you are new, but Disco will remain Disco. there is no 'tough to make money' .
you talked about friends. I have a lot of friends ,from shipdeals, rp encounters and even the occasional 'saw you on forums, hi' kind of friends. nobody is shunning you. all you gotta do is look.
that said, try to find me in game.I will tell you how to get started up.
I'll be the one to say this.
What the hell is wrong you?
Ignoring for a moment the people who actually took their time to read my post, what made you even come here and post random stuff?
This is my main broblem with the forum and you peope, while there are cool and intelegent people, there cant be a descent thread where someone starts a off topic agrument and derails the whole damn thread.
Do I need to make it clear?
POST ON TOPIC ONLY
I dont give a flying <word describing a sexual intercoase> who in a faction has the money.
Troyan12345, Moriarty., Tunicle, I'm looking at you.
