Subject: Shot down too
Well, yesterday was definitely not my day, as I ended up at New London General Hospital after being shot down twice. I was first taken down by the Pirate Lupis.Magnus while chasing him in Dublin. It was mainly due to a blatant lack of concentration, but hopefully consequences weren't so disastrous and the Essex Battleship had an other Hussar ready for me.
I therefore took off some time later and decided to train a bit with the Constable McNab and the Mandalorian Or'dinii[M]. Everything went pretty well, at least until Or'dinii decided to show me what would happen if I kept flying like I did in front of a full equipped ship. I instantaneously took damage up to the the half of my hull, and some vicious Molly around used this opportunity to take me down with a missile. I then remember waking up at New London Hospital, with several broken bones.
The positive point is that at least, I will have some time to look at all this paperwork that is accumulating on my desk since a few days. Talking of which, now that our number of officers is increasing, wouldn't it be clearer if we had a distinct access point (//New thread) where would be reported due fines and current bounties ? Thus, people could appeal their case more easily if charged and Bounty Hunters could report their catch. I am aware you are all already swamped with paperwork, but I think it would add a great deal of clarity to our actions.
I will let you think about it, or you can even come to discuss it with me. My room number is 343 and I would be pleased to have some company since my doctors said I would probably be stuck here until next Monday.

Greetings my friends. Today while I was sitting down for a nice tea time in Christy's my pager rang...an alert! Two Corsair Gunboats outside of Planet New London! I launced my SRD bomber and was joined by the Mandalorian, Ordinni in his Bounty Hunter Gunship. We then engaged the first Corsair, when the Wellington's battleship came and assisted us. The first gunboat was downed easily. The second ran, as we were catching it however there was a Sirius wide ion storm, and we were blown away.
Thats all for now, these Corsairs got some of the Queen's fury. Hoorah!

Subject: Hackers in Leeds
Gentlemen,
as I started my patrol today, I received a distress call from Planet Leeds: multiple Lane Hacker vessels were sighted in the low Orbit of Leeds, harassing traders. I rushed there and found two Falcata Bombers at the given coordinates. They refused to drop the prisoners they were taking and I had no choice but to engage them.
Soon a BHG named Johnny Blade as well as BAF member Douglas Bader joined my side and engaged the Hackers. Unfortunately, the BHG vessel fell victim to the torpedos of the Falcatas, but we were able to take out a Hacker as well.
Seeing that he was outgunned, the remaining Hacker fled to the Magelan JH where he managed to leave our space.
Another successful patrol, I daresay!
Vimes out.

But the Raven, sitting lonely on that placid bust, spoke only
That one word, as if his soul in that one word he did outpour.
Nothing further then he uttered; not a feather then he fluttered--
Till I scarcely more than muttered, "Other friends have flown before--
On the morrow he will leave me, as my Hopes have flown before."
<blockquote>Then the bird said, "Nevermore."</blockquote>

Subject: Patrol Report, 3 days late
Good Day sirs,
Three days ago, I began a patrol in Cambridge and for a bit, everything was pretty quiet. I did, however, sight an Adv. Train callsigned "Murazor" coming out of the Southern Ice Field. I asked him from where he came from, and stated simply with "The Edge Worlds." I gave him no more questions as he was bringing Alien Artifacts to studfy at the research center. Upon his leaving, he procured VIP's from Cambridge. Upon asking where they were headed, he said "Planet Kurile," and I kindly asked him to return the intellectuals to Cambridge. He refused, and ran into the Ice Fields faster than I could keep up.
After this ordeal, I was hailed by an IMG trader in Manchester who requested an escort to LD-14. Although they support the Kusari in the Taus, I decided that if he was helping us at LD-14, I'd help him there. I was, however, engaged by a Corsair on the way there, and was rushed to Kingston Border Station for emergency care. I have since returned to Cmbridge, and I am pleased to report my recovery from my incident with a Corsair in Manchester space. Hopefully I can soon resume my patrol route in full and better serve the Queen in the future.
Looking to continue good service,
Gregory Vederman signing out

Greetings my friends, today in New London I launched and almost spilled my tea! A Corsair by the name of Juan Lucendez! He was from the organized group of Corsairs, TBH. Apparently an Elder. I searched for several minutes while talking to him about several interesting subjects. Soon he foolishly revealed his position and Lieutenant Isaac Brock of the QCR joined me in his bomber. We headed to the Dublin Jumpgate and found him! We engaged and I dodged his missles easily in my Hussar. As I came for another pass both our shields when down, a nuclear mine left my ship and we were both destroyed. Isaac tractored my pod and returned me to New London. Not to bad!

Good day sirs,
Today's patrol was rather short. It was, however, quite successful. Soon after launching from Cambridge, I intercepted a Bounty Hunter Gunboat claled [A51] UglyDog docking on Cambridge carrying Nomad Weapons. I told him about our licensing protocol, he agreed to buy a license. He has payed all fees, but, in what was certainly a lapse of memory, I forgot to tell him to contact us about his license. I have done so in his stead, and hope it is sufficient for him to get his license. Another pilot began asking about licensing protocol soon after. Upon my attempts to explain to them, however, my ship was hit with an Ion Storm, and I was unable to continue. It also seems that more and more traders take our VIP's from Cambridge to the Edge Worlds, and refuse to cooperate when asked to return or even where they are going. Two more I have seen today...
That is all,

Subject: UoG and =CR=
Men,
I ask you to take a minute, and to think about the current situation about the Mollys and the =CR=.
Since the two groups have gone to war, they no doubt will engage each other in hostile proportions and maneuvers. I am not asking you to take sides, but the maintain a air of neutrality.
The BPA is devoted to protecting Bretonia, and insuring the peace and civility of the region. Both factions have had arguments and conflicts with us before. The =CR= has often blatantly attempted to bypass the laws of Sirius, while the UoG has been at the forefront of the most staunch group of unlawfuls Bretonia has ever seen.
Unfortunately, it is not up to us to stop this conflict, but to pursue the interests of Bretonia.
Thus, if any =CR= or UoG vessels are sighted in Bretonia, order them out or use lethal force.
This is the only route we can take to insure the safety of the billions of souls in our great nation.
Otherwise, keep up the great work. Kudos especially to our new recruits, T.E. Lawrence, Gideon Trevelyan, and Gregory Vederman. Kudos to John Grey for successfully negotiating a prisoner exchange with the Mollys! The families of those men salute you!
In addition, if anyone still has NOT received their Mark VIII armor, let me know by posting in the dump.

Good day sirs,
Today our patrol was very successful. Launching from Newgate after dropping off some Mollys, I was greeted by officer John Grey. We began patrolling in Cambridge, and on the way there I came upon a very uncooperative trader procuring Engine Components. I kindly asked him where he was headed, and was met with silence. I askled again, and he avoided the question with a snooty remark. I then disrupted the trade lane to Planet Cambridge until he gave me an answer of to the Planet, which I did not believe, but, John viewed his landing on the Planet, and relinquishing of his components. We then were hailed by a QCR Pilot named Jack that there was a hacker gunboat in Leeds. We agreed to meet at Southampton, and we sighted a UOG pilot "selling green t-shirts." I kindly asked him to leave the system, and he replied with "I kindly advise you to buy one of my shirts." He came up to Southampton, and sped away into the Debris Field. He was then engaged by Corsairs, and the three of us thought it was best to let the scum fight it out amongst each other. Upon entering Leeds, the gunboat was no where in sight.
The next leg of our patrol was joined with Constable Lawrence. He and John patrolled Cambridge, while I remained in Leeds and Jack poked around in Dublin, where the previous Molly and a friend of his had been sighted. I then came to Cambridge as well, as Leeds was nearly empty. We then came upon a Corsair Gunboat, and while Lawrence assisted a trader in attaining a correct Identification device, and John called a superior officer who was in command of a Cruiser, I remained in Cambridge. There I met a man in a Zoner Destroyer carrying unlicensed Nomad Blasters. I kindly asked him to either drop his blasters, pay fines for a license, or leave Bretonia. He agreed on the last option, and left just as I was accosted by the Corsair Gunboat [OPG] Asno. I retreated to Battleship Norfolk, and was followed. Jack soon joined me, and under the fire of the Battleship, Asno retreated, while Jack and I pursued. We were then met by, yet another, independent Zoner Destroyer. At this point, I was shot down after enduring heavy fire, but Jack reeled in my escape pod. About ten seconds later, I heard from Jack's Cargo Hold that the Gunboat was destroyed, and I was set down on Cambridge. Medical said that I only have a few light burns on my right arm and a broken left ankle, and can still serve fine while recovering, but, when offered to have the rest of the day off, I opted to take a nap while my foot healed instead.
On a side note, I also require an armor upgrade for my Hussar. If I had one of those today, the Gunboat might not have made scrap metal of my previous machine...
To a good days work,

Good Evening sirs,
I hate to reopen a communications link, but it seemed that todays events were not ended just yet. From my bed in Cambridge, I woke to quite a start. The Tele was still running, and there was news of a pair of Corsairs strolling through our space. I quickly fell out of bed, and rushed to my Hussar. I came to the Cambridge Jump Gate only to find a Corsair Bomber callsigned Gonzales strolling quite leisurely through our trade lanes. I advised him to leave, peacefully, several times, when a second comber, callsigned Banderes appeared following [LaneSecurity].Fox. I advised Fox about our laws regarding inactivity while pirates were attacking BPA, and he agreed, especially when offered one million credits for each Corsair we took down. It seemed the Corsairs were not cooperating, and when Banderes came into view, we engaged. Fox was, however, lightly armed, and I was yet unarmored Banderes managed to bring down my Hussar, and Fox promptly disengaged and brought my tractor pod to New London. Medical there says that I was, again, quite lucky, with only major burns on my left arm and worsening burns on my right arm, and nothing broken this time. They told me to stay out of stressful situations for a couple of days, and I think I just might do that.
Sorry if I woke you,

Subject: Yesterday Report
Good evening sirs,
Seems like I only write reports while at the Hospital lately. Concerning yesterday, I first patrolled with Constables Vederman and Grey. Shortly after they went for a break, I spotted a smuggler carrying a full shipment of Counterfeit Software. I told him to stop and warned him about the heavy fine if not cooperating but he continued his trip and sold his shipment in Dublin, probably to some Mollys agent. At the end, he even told me to put a bounty on his head cause it would be "more interesting".
I therefore don't really know what to do with him. Somebody asking for being put under a bounty must not be completely sane. I think it is up to your decision, High Command.
Then, I was called in Cambridge as an Outcast, WsCandy!?, was spotted here taxing people. I engaged him after he showed no intentions of leaving the system, but was eventually taken down while messing with my Comm System. I was hopefully tractored by the Norfolk, which was strangely not Hostile to the Outcast, since this last one was tagged Synthetic Foods... Strange association I think.
Anyhow, I should be flying again soon and request the permission to be equipped with a MK VIII armor and a Nuclear Mine Launcher.

Gentlemen,
an Ion Storm just hit me while I was persuing the smuggler TGK in Dublin... that guy had a massive load of Counterfeit Software aboard... we should keep a close eye on him whenever he enters Bretonia.
On another note, we encountered a Samura employee in Leeds today, a very impudent one on top of that! He was carrying prisoner pods in his cargo bay, taking them from Shetland to Rheinland. We ordered him to drop them on Leeds, giving them to our headquarters there and, after some arguing he complied.
When he took off however, he was carrying many building machines in his cargo! That guy said his cargo was now property of Kusari and wanted to move to Tau 31! Of course, we intercepted him, and ordered him back to Leeds. After the next take-off, his cargo bay was finally empty, he really showed his rude side now:
Well, the Ion Storm seems to leave now... I will continue my patrol and report further events later.
