You know what? The players who are asking for money, already have 300 above million.

And you know what, more? I tried explaining good routes and how to make quick money to a newbie who asked me 200 million. I explained him that, as well that there are better things in this mod than grinding to buy just battleships. After all this, you know what I got? He told me to stop disturbing him, while he continued begging others for money. He basically told me to frak off

Now, dont say that you support that kind of behaviour by those who are out of their minds, or dont have brains at all, like one of the guys here, who is arguing that official factions should invite players.

Sounds like you had just huge unluck hitting that one. Majority of players, who asking such huge presents, are pretty thankfull for few tips, however, Im asking them, prior giving any advices, if they are interesting in those at all.

May I ask you, such unpleasent talk was one or couple of times, or more?

A player asking for a few million to buy a fighter or a low level transport would be doable. If a person has 300Mil in his pocket, he should already know you to make money. To keep begging for given money is very cheap gameplay.

Also, reading the way it happened to you, I do wonder if there isn't a slight intent of sanction baiting involved too.

I do give few millions to new players. If they are genuinely new, and asking for tips to make money instead of asking money. For those asking money, I give tips on quickly getting some cash to start up....

I found a random trader with a camara and lib ale, with no iff and FL ID moving around in NL. I transferred 20 million to him without him asking, and logged off....just sayin to tell that I too help new players with what I can, if they are willing to listen and cooperate.

Another point to take notice is about faction activity and the surveyllance of their own forum section. There's intered newbies who really want to play disco in full. But what happens when the factrion doesn't even keep track of their own recruitment posts? I've seen many disattended recruitment posts, what kind of example can they provide?

Some people here have mentioned that official factions should recruit people in game...
I have hardly met any Junkers other than JM and people I'm sharing a TS with or whatever in the border worlds. I don't really like recruiting people in house space as it doesn't give the impression of what we do. But that's a grey area. For other factions, I have met people in game and persuaded them to join.

There are about 3 things I hate about begging within this Game.

1) Those that aren't polite enough to even say Please.
2) Those that you give money to, you see their level go up and within a few minutes their Level drops as they send cash to another one of their Characters (which they log later to check how much they have collected).

And the worse ones are the Vets who can't be bothered grinding for cash and pull this stunt.

The last one has caused me to be very selective to whom I send money to.

Now the Post has developed, as it seems to me, about people (we will call them the Elitists) who are deciding who should and shouldn't have Caps. These Elitists have tarred all Newcomers with the same brush. All these 'Noobs' are interested in is Power Trading so that they can have Battleships with Cap VIII Armour, Battleship Scanners, Cloaking Devices and Docking Modules.

Not everybody is the same.

The interesting question that comes to mind is:

How many of the previous Posters have already got their multiple Caps with all the trimmings or even had them if they feel so strongly about (because if they disagree with them so much then they have got rid of them). Or is it 'well I am in an Official Faction so that makes it alright that I have all these toys'.

The term Hypocrites springs to mind.

Please let people play this Game as they want as long as it is within the Rules.

Official Faction Recruitment. I quite agree that the Forums are full of Recruitment Posts, but how many of them are up to date? How many get answered relatively quickly?

These 'Noobs' that Power Trade all day and very much go everywhere. How many Official Factions do they see? Who talks to them (other than 2 mill or die)?

It is/should be the Responsibility of Official Factions (OFs) to be seen, not to log just when there is a fight or somebody wanders in to your Space. If these Noobs/Indy Players see, regularly, certain Faction Tags they are more likely to remember them if and when they decide to join Groups.

The days of 200 Players, at the moment, are over. The OFs need to fight for those that do play. Let the OFs go to the Players and not the Players go to the OFs. If you make it interesting for them then they might bring their Friends along.

One thing I have noticed - when I can get online due to work and other RL issues. If I go anywhere with lots of new players then there is a lot of requests for credits - begging basically but if I give them advice on how to get the credits 9/10 times they just say they want credits.

You hit the target. Noobs are guilty until proven otherwise.

Now, back to serious note, St. Denis, it's true that official faction's job is to organise people. But you can't organise people who don't want to. Or atleast don't want to in the way official faction suggests.
