Gone Home I've only heard about, too. Sounds like an indie horror game which is said to be quite short though. I wouldn't buy it.

Gone Home isn't really a horror game, but it has the environment and feel of horror-like suspense.

And ye, this game you can speed run through in like 2 minutes I think, but with how it's designed, you'll sit for hours rummaging through drawers and looking under beds to figure out who these people that lived here were.
