It's ok Narc, people just, as it's called sometimes, 'vote with their legs' - mean they just walk away from something they don't like anymore. Of cause let's claim the problem is in the players - the mod is just brilliant masterwork, pool dickheads just too ignorant to understand it's perfection.

Everybody has a right to critize. Also, if players liked subject X, and then it was removed, or changed in very wrong way, expect to see reaction. Some people, just silently move away. Thouse, who had particular fun with subject X, going to show their discontent.
Oh, why not to add another rule, and put it into 1.1 Discovery Freelancer is best freelancer mod ever made. Everybody who would even have any doubt in that, and showing it anywhere: In-game; On forums; Social networks; Skype; TS, will be issued a 2 month ban as warning. In case of second time infraction: Indefinate Ban.
honestly, in short corsairs need some love (besides their now overpowered Centurion)... maybe is on its way with the reworking of the omicrons.... but we know ssooooo little about that....

Actually, that's not true as my most recent warning has shown. I had the courage ( or stupidity ) to criticise the proposal of our beloved moderator for being biased only to be threatened on Skype and receive warning filled with more bias from another moderator.
So no, I do not have the right to criticise. Maybe this is one of my last posts because not everyone is strong enough to handle such truth and would rather gag me for months again.

Corsairs have enough love. Let's count: 3 battleships, full shipline excluding battlecruiser, some nice greencells(Gaians, Hogosha), powerful pulse weapons(including unique bomber weapon), giant ZoI, some core 4 PoBs to protect them... should I continue?

i meant in the matter of JHs and else, cruising empty spaces for too long are boring and discouraging for everyone like O-49 or 47, not to ment the famous Theta-Eta-Alph route, which in my opinion killed the sair ans Ocs activity, and list keeps going...
In terms of ships and guns they're more than served indeed
Gamma raids. Too many. So many enemies and forum hate it became tedious.
The hit and run stuff became impossible. Log on in any system but Gamma and some troll would appear and start in system chat with the same old tired bollocks about being cannibals, all the time looking for you to try to kill. Then they started turning up in numbers and complaining in chat or in some cases even on the forums if you couldn't be arsed and flew off or logged.
Gamma was the only place you could play a corsair in the end and then the raids started. 4 or 5 a day at it's worst. Entire fleets for two corsair snubs for example.
The RP element of being a corsair was killed off by players who felt they're RP of killing corsairs justified their existence.
Bounty boards that didn't actually pay credits, despite screening bogus transactions.
Alliances that just grew up for the act of killing corsairs.
The list goes on.
Suffice to say, the old days as has been pointed out were more golden for corsairs. Why?
Because corsairs were free to have RP. Something the Outcasts have suffered from as well.
We both, were free to act within the Freelancer universe as something more than targets. Everyone knew what to expect in an encounter even if they'd never been out of New York and most of the players tried to make the most of the encounters. Credits, cargo, equipment and even a cantankerous parrot on one occasion.
Buffer systems?
Sigma 13 is not exactly near to Gamma but was a hot bed of action for Corsairs, Outcasts, Blood Dragons and even the odd GMG.
Cambridge and even Dublin could be accessed and raids conducted. If you were quick on your toes, you could pirate into New London at the gates. BAF would arrive and you'd skirmish and then withdraw.
Rheinland was a different target. Compared to the other places of interaction, Rheinland was EXTREMELY hostile. Everyone hated the corsairs more than anything else. Probably Skype hatred but still, you knew that if caught by Hessians, LWB, RM or all together, they'd unite against you and it would get hot. It added a certain 'spice' to raiding there and if I'm honest, I rarely went there as softer options were available. I doubt the server will ever get the RP back it used to have.
I sincerely wish you all good fun, and especially the would be corsairs and outcasts, to whom I wish good luck, and good hunting.
Lets clear some things. Corsairs had(maybe still have) the biggest playerbase in the whole server. In the last 2 years only 1/10th of all my battles with the corsairs did we outnumber them. Some of the indie corsairs have proven that they suck at RP and are logging just for the kill. With the Benitez gone, Sails gone and the TBH hibernating the corsairs are left without an active official faction. Counting as well that in the past wherever the corsairs went, there were always outnumbering everyone.
