Greetings, officers - Sentinel of the 17th reporting in.
As I was on a patrol this morning, in-between assignments, through the Taus, I encountered a pair of Junker transports with their cargo bays full of Cardamine. As it is standard i attempted to reason with them and have them drop the cargo, but they attempted to flee. Of course i caught up with them after they avoided me by flying in the NFZ Baffin and eventually took one of them down, whereas the second docked in the crowded Barrier Gate Station.
Later on, I RV-ed with some of our officers and as it happens, Warrant Officer Marks was already in a duel with a pirate flying a bomber. He honourably took down the enemy, yet strangely enough the blackbox records were somehow scrambled. I'm guessing the pirate's ship already had some damaged systems.
Right now, however, I've just returned from Leeds after an excellent encounter with the Gallic forces. It's my pleasure to report that two of their capital vessels, one Valor and one Obstinate, were blown to pieces by our Bomber squad and the help of the Athena.
It's somewhat relieving to spend time flying along Military Officers once in a while. The fireworks sure are fancy.
Nothing much to report. However, I received a distress call from Major Johnson in Tau-23, regarding an Outcast 'Storta' destroyer near the Tau-29 Jump hole. An engagement has already begun with our forces consisting of 2 'Pytho' Bombers, and a 'Hydra' gunboat. By the time I arrived, heavy damage was dealt to the ship. I successfully landed a few Antimatter shots on the ship, and eventually the ship was neutralized.

Full Report: Me, Alpha an Lunar were patrolling through Coronado as we saw Junker we scanned him and found a full cargo of Cardamin after Talked to him he decided to drop the Cardamin we destroyed it right after. When i started my "shift" i had the chace to see a Outcast in Tau-23. The Target was called XTF-Zaza..After a long fight i managed to kill the outcast...The fight started after me asking the outcast to leave.

Full Report: On patrol in Tau-23 encountered abnormal entity, on investigation saw it was a blue blob like jelly. It had minor intelligence and i attempt to communicate and advise it to leave system as it was being attacked by IMG fighters. It turned hostile on me and i was crippled badly. Entity described as K'Hara|Aezith.

Full Report: Nemi and me, saw a convoy of Junkers in Tau-23 as we get closer we started scanning them and we realized that this was a cardamine transport we stopped them and asked friendly if they could drop there cargo .... they didn't (what did we expect ?!). We put our focus on John.Conway which was hard because the other two Junker were equipped with Solaris we avoided them as good as we can .. with succeed .. The Junkers flee into Tau-29 were we continued fighting after a pretty intense battle the Junkers decided to jump back in Tau-23 (I guess they realized there were no escape from us!) We finally took down John. We weren't able to destroy the Cargo which would have been to risky cause of the fact that I saw some more .:j:. on my scanner. we decided to back off to Tau-37 and landed on FP 10. Full Report: Target (Cross.Greenwood) was detected in Tau 23 with cargo off 3295 Cardimine and due to malfunction on my Nyx i could not CD target and had to follow. Systems pursuit trough: Tau-23; Tau-29; Baffin; Coronado; Cortez; California; Texas. On approach to Liberty space, requested assist from 5th Fleet Captain 5th|Jack.O'Neil to help intercept target in Texas. Target was stopped by Navy and refused or mock drop cargo and fled, we engaged target but he docked on Planet Huston and sold contraband. On exit he was fined 9mil credits by Liberty Navy and let go. Due that i was in House space i could not engage or reprimand target, respecting Liberty Law. i followed target to Cortez system and on exit he was destroyed by Xenos ships. I was blind sided by 2 more Xenos ships and destroyed 3 vs 1.

Good evening Colonial Republic, I am Lieutenant Claire Chandler.
Some of you have met me before, some of you have not, I have been out of patrolling and flying for several months due to personal reasons at home. It still hits me now but im sure I am ready to come back. My Nyx Fighter has had a few upgrades, we have got a new Blackmarket Engine put in, also a few new lights and a new weapons turrets. My Transponder and Shipname goes by the name of CR|-Angels[49th]
To start of my report I would like to say a massive thank you to all the pilots I flew with this very fine day and evening, my first day back flying within 49th Firebird wing and it was very busy.
My arrival in Tau-29 was wonderful, I was met by Captain Lergae Merlon. Moments later joined by Lieutenant Hannes Regnear. We spoke for a few moments, I introduced myself to these fine pilots and we then moved out on a patrol within Tau-23. My nav map was a bit out dated so a nice patrol through Tau-23 was nice. Being able to update my nav map and all. After patrolling through Tau-23 we headed back to Battleship Nagaski were we had another pilot join us on our patrols. Lieutenant Aiden Marks. This Lieutenant is a character is he not *Laughs* will never shut up.
Anyway we moved out in formation and started patrolling around Tau-29 for any unwanted and unusal business that may be occuring but we found nothing. We reached Freeport 6 where Lieutenant Marks had to dock and get a few repairs. After the repairs were made we headed back towards Battleship Nagaski meeting up with another fellow pilot. Lieutenant Salem Jansen. Having done patrols of Tau-23 and Tau-39 we sat as sentry's around Battleship Nagaski.
A few moments later we recieved a communication from Colonel Korden. Colonel Korden had never met me until this moment so I would show him who I am and what I can do. Colonel Korden was flying through very hazardous space, with high threat warnings, so I suggest to the fighter wing to move out and meet Colonel Korden and make sure he arrives here saftly and unharmed. Colonel Korden was coming from the Leeds system into Tau-31 and then Tau-29, so the fighter wing that consisted of myself, Lieutenant Chandler, there was also, Lieutenant Marks, Lieutenant Renar and Lieutenant Jansen. Captain Merlon had docked on Battleship Nagaski being low on fuel.
I took command of this small fighter wing and we headed towards Tau-31 Jumpgate, reaching the jumpgate we all prepared ourselves for a very hostile encounter on the other side by the Gallic Naval Forces. Luckily the threat was not so high when we all jumped through. We took the lane down to Holmon Outpost and waited for Colonel Korden's arrival. Upon his arrival I introduced myself and said I was a member of the 49th Firebird Sqaudron but I was out with personal reasons for several months.
Colonel Korden liked what I had done and gave me the priveledge of flying as his Second in Command on this patrol. So we headed back to Tau-29, jumping through the jumpgate again, but hitting a Gallic Naval Forces Gunboat patrol with many fighter escorts. I gave an order to get Colonel Korden back to Battleship Nagaski safely and securly and that is what the escorts had done. Where I am experienced and skilled in my Nyx, I stayed by the jumpgate acting as a decoy and distraction to the Gallic Pilots making sure they did not follow Colonel Korden.
Soon as Colonel Korden and the escorts were out of my scanner range I started heading back to Battleship Nagaski too where we were met by Major Sophius Johnsons. Major Johnson remembers who I am, which made me feel a little more comfortable with a pilot I have flown with before around me.
While I was away on my personal leave I done some research on Gallia and near by systems for 49th Firebird to recon and keeps eyes on, so I suggested and said to Major Johnsons and escorts that I have done some research and I think there may have been a new base within one of the Debris Field that we may be able to dock on and use as another Forward Operating Base. Where my database was out-dated, my database did not know that it was owned to the IMG and was known as Dounby Station. It was a Rock Station.
Lieutenant Jansen noticed on his scanner an unknown pilot that goes by the transponder name of Chief. We searched for this pilot for a few moments, I quickly caught him by Tau-23 jump hole near Planet Sanday. Chief was only a Freelancer Pilot from Liberty that was exploring near by systems within the Tau's.
So we all met up with Colonel Korden and moved back to Battleship Nagaski where we all docked, re fueled and got some dinner and a drink at the bar. After having my dinner and a drink, I headed back to my quaters to send my report in as fast as I could.
This evening has been very dangerous, to start of with myself and Captain Merlon started a patrol from Battleship Nagakshi moving out to Tau 23, we were joined by a 17th agent. This agent went by the transponder CR|-Sentry[17th].
Moving out towards Tau-23 Jump hole we found a very suspicious pilot. Flying a Pirate Train, with a Freelancer Affiliation, this smuggler was hauling a full cargo hold of Cardamine. The ships transponder was reading XXL-C.C.Delight.
We tried to make this smuggler comply and cut there engines, but they were refusing to, we asked the pilot to drop all cardamine on board but they refused to again, and then this smuggler open fired upon Captain Merlon. So I open fired and started engaging this smuggler. The three of us chased this Smuggler back into Tau-23 from chasing him half way through Tau-29, where he took heavy damage but managed to dock on Cali Station within Tau-23.
Moments later I see both Captain Merlon and the Agent from 17th Squadron start running back to Tau-29 and I had no clue what was happening until my scanner was reading a Gallic Royal Navy Pilot. I sensed something bad was going to happen so I engaged my cruise engines and followed myCaptain and the Agent.
After jumping through the jump hole back to Tau-29 this Gallic Pilot was only a few klicks away from me where he fired a disruptor and stalled my engines. Not seeing the Agent or Captain Merlon anywhere in sight I listened to the Gallic Pilot for a few moments noticing he was going to open fire on me sooner or later, so I started after burning towards Battleship Nagaski.
This Gallic Pilots transponder was reading GRN|Maurice.Cornett, flying a Lynx Very Heavy Fighter. When I was within 10 klicks of Battleship Nagaski, there was another Gallic pilot on my scanner, there transponder was reading GRN|Mathis.Launcelot. This pilot was also flying a Lynx Very Heavy Fighter.
So as you can see there was me being ambushed by two Gallic Royal Navy Fighter Pilots with both my patrol leader and an agent fleeing, so I was confused about what I should do. I took matters into my own hands and requested assistance from Battleship Nagaski, while both the Agent and Colonel Korden fleed the sceen for safety.
I fired a few shoots on Pilot Cornett being able to de-shield the vessel and luckily Battleship Nagaski had a good crew commanding her guns tonight, hitting the pilot with a Battleship Battlerazor destroying the ship.
Gallic Pilot Mathis returning fire on my ship after his wingman was shot down, so I entered evasive manuvours dodging shots fired at me until assistance showed up. Having my scanners active and online, I saw a freindly pilot heading to my location. The CR|-Firaeveus[K199] Hydra Gunboat was what was showing on my scanner, soon as I saw the transponder, I knew I had hope in surviving the Gallic Mathis Fighter Pilot. Colonel Korden showed up to assist me fighting of the Gallic Threat.
49th Firebird Squadron was not having a good night, when my scanners had two more Gallic Pilots showing. Both went by the transponders reading Louis.Molyneauxm and Vincent.Marseille. Both flying Lynx Very Heavy Fighters as well.
So at this time we were out numbered 3 to 1 Fighters but I was having assistance from Colonel Korden and the Firaevus. Having emergency communications go out to all nearby Colonial Vessels, we had CR|-Hax[49th]
CR|-Orion[17th] show up giving us more fighter power being able to even the fight out a little more. Sadly Colonel Korden and the Firaeveus was heavily damaged close to Battleship Nagaski.
While this battle was going on there was another pilot coming in from Coronado system. Colonial Lieutenant Marks, transponder reading CR|-Vampire[49th] being joined with a Secondary Fleet Gunboat Captain, transponder reading message.of.love.
CR|-Orion[17th] had two of the three Gallic pilots on his six during most of the fight, while I was dealing with the Gallic Pilot that started shooting me after his wingman was destroyed. Agent Orion was destroyed by the two Gallic Pilots, I managed to pick up his escape pod and got him close to Battleship Nagaski.
The Gallic Royal Navy knew there was more Colonial Support moving into assist so they bought along a Bomber pilot, his transponder was reading GRN|Lucie:LeBlanc. Moments later I took heavy damage and had all my equipment destroyed from my vessel, so I pointed my Nyx towards Battleship Nagaski and rushed to my escape pod. Ejecting from my Nyx, I started floating towards the battleship waiting to be picked up.
After my ship was destroyed, I have no clue what happened after, I am not sure who won and who lost. But I know my Nyx is out of action, I hear Battleship Nagaski has a spare one in the cargo bay some where. That there mechanic's can fix up and get setup for me to use.
A few hours later, a Hydra Gunboat was mooring to Battleship Nagaski. The pilot of this vessel was Colonel Stephanie Chaple. She was in charge of flying and commanding the CFV-Defiance Hydra Gunboat, this vessel is apart of the Secondary Fleet of the Colonial Republic.
It seemed very weird at first. But Colonel Chaple seemed like a very nice person and offered me training onboard of the Defiance. She said she spoke with Colonel Korden about training myself as a pilot of a Hydra Gunboat. So Colonel Chaple took me back to the Defiance and started my training. I learned how to do basic manuvours, and the basic parts of flying one of the finest Gunboats within the Colonial Republic.
When we set off on a training patrol, we had a vessel join us. I was shocked at first but Colonel Korden had joined us with his fixed CR|-Firaeveus[K199]. So we set out and moved towards Freeport 6 were we saw a various amount of ships. One of them was a Zoner Affiliated Hathor Gunship.
Colonel Chaple and myself thought twice and looked. Something was not right about this pilot, The transponder was reading Teshub. Colonel Korden and Colonel Chaple took over and was speaking with this pilot to find out information about this Hathor Gunship.
Rumours are that one of the Order Hathor Gunships were stolen. We believe to have found the stolen Hathor. So Colonel Chaple gave the pilot three options to start of with. Each of them sounded reasonable and fair and they were.
1: Pay a fine of 4 million credits which will be sent to the Order, and the vessel returned to Order Space and back to Order.
2: Colonel Chaple take command of the vessel and fly it her self back to Order space.
3: Destruction of said vessel.
Colonel Korden had another option though, that option was to take the pilot to Zoner space and get an exchange on this vessel so we were able to take it and hand it back to the Order.
After a long time negoitating and speaking with the pilot he finally agreed to the 4th option. So we escorted the pilot to Baffin where the Zoner took a suicide fly in the nearest sun corona.
Loosing sight and contact of this pilot, we headed back to Tau-29 and continued our patrol. Colonel Korden wanted some commodities from Holmon Outpost so Colonel Chaple gave me permission to fly Defiance and take the seat of the Gunboat.
So we made our way to Tau 31 were we were engaged by several Gallic Royal Navy Gunboat Patrols, having being shot at by 8 Gunboats at one time, we were forced to return fire. I asked Colonel Chaple to take over and she told me to keep command and learn how to fly the Defiance.
Being shot at by several gunboats at one time was scary and I was shaken up a bit. But having the assistance of Colonel Korden and Colonel Chaple with me they helped me survive and we destroyed all 8 vessels capturing 5 Captains.
After reaching Holmon Outpost, we returned back to Tau-29 and started heading to Battleship Nagaski to re-fuel and re-arm.
All guncam images are being uploaded into the database now. There are no guncam images from when the Gallic's hit us due to my Nyx was heavily damage and all guncam images lost.
These passed few days have been busy, I have patrolled every day since I have been back in the seat of my Nyx. I have started flying along side and in the seat, next to Colonel Stephanie Chaple, and learning to fly the CFV-Defiance. I am still undoing training on that.
Two nights ago, I undocked with Colonel Chaple and her crew on the Defiance and we headed into Tau 23, where there was an IMG Mining Operating under going a few difficulties.
There was a small wing of Junker Maruaders harrassing the miners and there pilots, near Java Station. We powered down our engines near Tau 29 Jump Hole and listened in over the comms until we heart a distress call and emergency alarms coming from one of the vessels. One of the IMG pilots vessels was destroyed, closely to Java Station.
We powered our engines back up and headed towards Java to investigate, Laura Huntington sent through a transmissions asking for assistance fast. We powered the weapons up and prepared the crew to enter the fight and assist our allies. Moments later we heard screams from one of the hostile vessels, that was because Laura Huntington unleashed a snac on the cockpit class of the Junkers vessel making it exploded from the inside out. Luckily for them, there pilot escaped rapidly and got away safetly. This ships transponder was reading JM|-Occam's.Razor.
While Miss Huntington was busy fighting of the Junker Waran pilot, I engaged and took the heat from there Wrecker Gunboat and kept him busy so the miners could unleash there fire power. The Wreckers transponder was reading as JM|-Exodus. Moments later the Wrecker was destroyed with help from all pilots involved watching it exploded.
After this we returned back to Battleship Nagaski due to all hostiles were destroyed, being transmissioned again from Laura Huntington asking for more assistance due to some more hostiles have arrived. This time these hostiles were not the usual Outcasts and Junker Maraurders no, they were Freelancers, GC and one Outcast Gunship.
Returning to Tau 23 flying my Nyx Fighter, I open fired and assisted the IMG one more time, giving them a hand fighting off the hostile vessels. Flying along the wing of Miss Huntington, I managed to fire the last shots on a vessel named Jack_Daniels who was flying a Border World Sabre. We all then targeted the Outcast Vessel being the next biggest threat, damaging it enough for it to flee back to Cali after taking heavy damage.
From watching the Outcast Gunboat flee one of the IMG pilots were under heavy fire from three of the hostile fighters, I moved into assist, sadly not moving in fast enough watching the pilots Waran be destroyed. from then I was under fire from a Sabre and a Sunrider Fighter, with assistance from a IMG recruit. Sadly my Nyx did not last this fight but we managed to damage both of these pilots enough for there vessels to be leaving in flames.
Yestarday I was informed there was another spare Nyx left on Battleship Nagaski, so I was given permission to fly this on patrols until my new one arrives in the next few days. Having the data base missing and being updated, I went on a patrol to map all near by systems and have now completed Tau 23, Tau 29, Tau 44, Tau 39, this will help me and the rest of the sqaudron in the future in case we are in persuit of a smuggler we know were escape routes are and can block him off before he or she could escape.
Myself, Colonel Korden and another Lieutenant went on a patrol late last night. Never meeting this Lieutenant before, started giving off banter towards me that I took offence too from both the Lieutenant and the Colonel. So I took a risky move and flew into Rousillion and switching my comms off.
Not knowing that the Lieutenant and Colonel followed me, I started to map through the system when I hear a loud explosion next to me, Switching comms on rapidly, being told it was the Lieutenants ship exploding due to the mine field that we flew next to. I was having the blame put on me, The Colonel tractored the Lieutenant and we all returned to Battleship Nagaski.
Colonel Korden has something to report from mapping the system, and it may be very important to the Colonial Republic High Command. I will let him explain things more further and on a more secure channel.
