I take of my shades, and slid them into my black leather coat pocket. As I stand there scanning the room I notice the bartender leaving two glasses, and a bottle of what I assume is whiskey at a table. I see a man sitting there in a dark cowboy get up. I make my way to the bar as the bartender looks over with a weird glance. I lean on the bar *The man sitting at the table with the long black duster he wouldn't happen to go by the name of Bill would he?* The bartender turns to me after putting a few bottles away. *Depends are you Loyd?* I catch a slight smirk on the corner of my lips. *Thank you sir I will leave you to your business.* A slight squeak comes about as my black combat boots twist on the floor. I walk on over to the table. *Bill? My name is Loyd I hope your wait was not too long.*
I take a moment to look this Loyd fellow over. Years of dealing with both lawful and unlawful factions have given me the ability to quickly reveal what type of person I am dealing with. He wears a black leather jacket, and not the sort one would wear for manual labor. Don't think for a moment I missed his quick conversation with the bartender, nor the smirk on his face. Gives me the impression of the arrogance only carried by a skilled pilot. But I need discretion as well as skill. Most of these new Junkers I've met don't carry our old customs of discretion so well these days. This may be an opportunity for the old generation to instruct this new generation on how we accomplish our goals. Kill two birds with one stone. Solve my current problems, and teach him a thing or two. I'll take him under my wing, give him a shot.
“Ain't been here long” I reply. We really need to discuss business, but there is some information I need. With a level voice I ask “What sorta business you used to? What kinda cargo you pull, an how quiet are you when haulin it?” This is a good start. Get to know him a little more, see if he's got the skills I require. “If yer lookin to earn yerself some credits, git yerself a reputation, an learn a few tricks then pour yerself a shot an tell me bout yerself” I state, awaiting his reply.
I have heard a few things about him, and so far everything is true got a sharp stare, and doesn't seem like much gets past him this guy is old school. By the look in his eyes I have to choose my words next very carefully I don't want this chance slipping away. "Well I am glad to hear it." I say as I'm taking my seat. I pour my drink, and take a small sip. "I have hauled many things I would say Cardi being the dirtiest one, but even with that I haven't been caught yet. I know my way around, and definitely know how to stay under the radar." I take another sip, and wipe my mouth. "I am interested in all of what you mentioned before, and I am sure whatever you need me to haul I can get it in, and out of any place very discreet like. I down the glass, and set it on the table as I let a smile come on my face once again.

His spiel doesn't seem exaggerated. Cardamine's pretty cheap to buy, and easy to haul. Smugglers are a dime a dozen these days, but never being caught is a very bold claim. “Ain't never been caught, eh?” I ask, followed with “Well, I'm keen to hire you. Lemme show you what yer in fer. I got a Liner in one of the hangers here. Let's go down an I'll show you what I'm plannin.” With that I get up and walk out, with Loyd following close behind.
Gypsie leaned back on his seat to see if he could catch a sight of the people inside the VIP rooms, but it was impossible to tell if Trenton was there. He resumed his drinking and when he was done with that last glass he spake.
Listen to me, good fella, I'm a little drunk right now but let me tell you that I came here to see if I could meet an old friend and I will not leave till i do so *berp* Do you happen to know him? Or seen him around?
I don't think you told me who your friend is, "good fella".The Bartender answered.
Gypsie looked right into his eyes before speaking. The name is James Trenton, good fella.
The bartender smiled when he heard that name.Heh, everytime I try to have some fun and bully a customer, he's here to meet the boss. Happens every damn time.He looked in the direction of the VIP rooms.Saw him go in there with his lady earlier. You don't want to barge in. Will have to wait here.
Mia glanced at her comms device, the bar tender was asking when JT would be back. He had left out the back exit to make his way to find Marcus. The bar tender informed her there was someone waiting to see James in the bar. She sent a message back to him, informing him that she was unsure of when he was to return, but she would be down shortly.
On her arrival to the bar, he nodded. She walked across and took a seat next to Gypsie. "You're looking for James?" after brushing her hair out of her eyes she shook her head slightly and continued speaking. "He's not here at the moment, but, is there anything I can help you with? I'm Mia, his Wife and Deputy Arbiter."
Another transmission came through as the two were talking. James' voice could be heard Mia this is JT.. are you there? Mia smiled, excusing herself for a minute as she turned away for a moment, pulling her comms device out as she did so.
Oh! Send him my regards!Said Skripto, and he then waited for her to finish talking to her husband and boss. James sure knew how to pick em, he thought.
There was much to be discussed, some trivial stuff and also other important things. The present, the future, Sirius, Gallia, a lot. If some other deputy had been sent to talk to him, he probably would have invented something and postponed the real conversation til Trenton had returned. But seeing that this was not only his Deputy Arbiter but also his wife, and also that she was in constant comm contact with the Congress leader, Gypsie decided she was ok to speak to.
When the beautiful woman finished talking with JT and put away her comm device, Gyp spake. It's a real pleasure my lady. I must say that your beauty is only second to that of Eris herself. I'm Gypsie Skripto, a Temporary Autonomous Zoner in exile who James had the generosity of recieving into the Congress.
Mia smiles shyly at his comments once she had finished talking to JT, "Well... Thank you. It's nice to meet you too." After glancing across to the door she looks back at Gypsie "Let's have a drink while we wait. It's a short flight from San Juan, he wont be long."
She asked him what he would like to drink, and insisted that she pay for it, as a friend of James' was a friend of hers, and she was more then happy to get the first round.
"So, how did you meet James?" She asked to make conversation as the two of them awaited his arrival.
Gypsie kindly accepted the offer, and despite already being a bit tipsy, he ordered another quarter of rum. Before he could even start answering, he already had his drink ready at the table.
Well, Mrs. Trenton, to be honest I don't really remember what came first. It's the old egg and chicken paradox all over. Thing is that the Congress and the TAZ had business regarding silver ore and it's distribution in the Taus. In the midst of that, I focused my attention on your organization and on the particular character of your husband.
He took a sip of his drink and continued.
We ended up having a drink here in this very same tavern, and after that we flew a bit together on board the Junk Town, that's when i fell in love with the frigate. Anyways, I promised him I'd write an article on his person and his organization, still owe him that one. I guess you're now part of that story.
JunkTown arrives at La Fortaleza docking bay.
The bay doors open as the ship approaches and enters the base.
Landing gear extends from underneath the salvager as it sets down.
An external hatch opens and a ramp extends from the portal.
As James exits the ship walking down the ramp as he messages Mia.
Two words..
I'm here.
Marcus close behind the two walk across the hangar.
He cannot wait to see Mia again hoping she is well.
Being able to see her while on SJ was comforting.
Still not being allowed to touch her was painfully difficult.
They make their way to the corridor exiting the hangar bay.
As he turns the corner looking down the long passageway he sees Mia.

She smiled, nodding as he told his story. "You have a good taste in ships. The Salvager is one of my favorites." After some small talk, she apologized and checked her comms device.
I'm here
She hid a smile, managing to keep a straight face as she brushed the hair out of her face. Taking a sip of her drink, she placed it on the table "Do forgive me, I will be back in just a moment."
She left the bar and made her way down the corridor, frowning slightly as she was playing with the comms device, flicking off the security cameras as she walked toward where she knew he would be coming from. Glancing up, she noticed him walk around the corner, knowing Marcus wouldn't be far behind she used the tablet to close the doors after JT.
He smirked, knowing what she was doing. She didn't look up, keeping her professional stance as she pulled up a series of matters James would need to deal to. "Arbiter Trenton." She nodded holding her comms device out so he could see "there are some matters I need you to attend to." She had kept her straight face as she talked through the jump registration application and the pending applications. "There is one other thing....." She was unable to contain her excitement any longer and tossed the tablet to the side before jumping on him, wrapping her arms around him in an embrace.
