I wasn't there for this event, nor does that really matter as that one line dropped by the event creator clear sums up the fact that there was nothing with them being there and that XA are well within their RP to be there to cause a fuss. Any OoRP comments about it are simply just people getting sour because...well I don't even know. That to me though is simply case closed.
"Ruined. Thanks XA-" is quite frankly just nothing more than someone being bitter about the fact that, though it was an event, once again the creator made it clear that they were allowed to attend. There was no initial sign-up which could be seen as an oversight by the members of XA- that made their appearance but...hey, mistakes happen. I don't see why there needs to be so much bitterness when there was only 4 initial Xenos that raided it. When there was the amount of armour that I've been told was there, that should've been negligible as everything started to fire at them.
From what the faction members have told me, it seems that the earlier you died, the more upset you got. Yeah sure no one likes dying early but Evo kinda covers these points and the reasoning for XA-'s entry. I do like how the feedback thread hasn't been touched. Exercise your faction rights if you really want to make a difference but that loops back to my original point which points out that the creator didn't object. You should be raging at him if anyone at all.

Do these two things contradict each other?

Also looks like you did a lot of planning since you've got OoRP intelligence reports on how much armour was there.

You can purge that as you desire, right?
And this is an event thread which is open for event feedback, yeah?
No they don't. I said that was a small oversight yet it was still approved by the event creator so basically, not a problem from that line onwards.
All it takes is a bit of organisation to fight off bombers. They succeeded so apparently they were just better than you were at the time. As Evo also said, there is no reason why XA- can't intervene when Cortez is within their ZoI.
It is indeed a thread for feedback on the event but I don't see much feedback on the event; it's feedback (and 90% of it being criticism) being thrown directly at XA-.

Feedback for the event has changed since XA- actions interrupted it. Surely you understand cause and effect, especially when you've done it?
Organisation to fight off bombers? I think so too. Does organisation require people knowing before, during or after that bombers are here to play?
Already spoke about how Kishiro| would have reacted if we knew FR4 was not going to be used. I blame poor management and communication, but that's only part of the problem.
I've told you I wasn't there. I was in fact at a friends house with a shot of Vodka in my hand. So please stop trying to imply that I had anything to do with it.
Organisation requires picking targets and shutting them down quickly. You had the resources to do so. Your big ships had weapons on them after all. If someone knows what they're doing, this can be carried out at a moments notice.

If you see a Xeno and you are a dirty foreigner, you'd be wise to run right away rather than wait for tea and biscuits.
Fact of the matter is that you went to an unsafe system and didn't bring enough security and died. Lesson learned, hopefully.
This is exactly where I believe EVE Online creates less tears than Disco - people there would know not to take too many risks, whereas here people take risks and die, and rather than learn from it they cry. If anything, you should blame yourselves for not taking precautions if it is really that important not to get shot.

Also I wasn't there, I just like to argue : )))
Lesson learned. FR4 will be used or non-participation next time.
Well that's one approach. Another could be to think of this as a roleplay server where other players enacting different roles can and will have an unforeseen effect on you and the actions of your characters, so you have to plan accordingly.
