ALG has long ties with working alongside Junkers in the Sigma cleanup operation (they helped pick up the scrap there).
They simply asked if they could go into the houses and work there to clean up the scrap, the houses said yes. I don't see a problem there.
Also, can we please not talk about this in an inRP context until the admins give us an inRP justification for the nerf? We can all establish that the nerf was the result of baseless accusations that the commodity was hugely damaging to balance, which is not the case.
I have an idea, why don't we keep scrap at what it was, 14000, and buff everything else?
Especially cardamine and artifacts, which sell for half what a unit of ore sells for. How does that make any sense? Smugglers have lawfuls to worry about just like lawful traders have to worry about pirates.

Because in the end the amount of traders would become lowere due to quick earnings and pirates would be left empty handed.
The amount I play is pretty much a constant. If anything, higher bonuses would motivate me to play more. I guess some people only play for that battleship or that cloaking device or that yacht or whatnot, so what you say makes sense for some people.

DSE and ALG have their own RP ores to get.
ALG waste disposal shouldn't be clearing up waste?
they should not be coming out of their zoi to make money off of that junkers in RP do. They specialize in their own thing. You dont see a garbage bump company going to wreak cars in a scrap junkyard in real life.
It different specialities!! Its not hard to make your own junker either.
ALG have been involved in scrap collecting since vanilla times. The very reason for Helgoland's existence was to serve a basis for ALG's scrap mining operations in the now defunct Yanagi debris field.
Dortmund smelter specializes in scrap resmelting. Saying ALG shouldn't be mining scrap goes entirely against the lore of my faction ever since vanilla days.
We clean up waste, and that includes scrap.
Edit: To elaborate, NO, we don't have our own ore. Toxic Waste was never in any way comparable to regular ores, but it was entirely nerfed into the ground with 87. Scrap is all we had, and though it was pretty crap before, after this latest nerf it's entirely non-viable.
So I really don't understand what you mean by we "have our own RP ores".

+1
If anything, ALG should be the ones getting Premium Scrap, while the Junkers get something like "Unstable Scrap" (AKA the kind of stuff you'd find in the Negra in Texas) since ALG would probably own way better salvaging equipment than your average wandering Junker, while showing that only the Junkers are brave (or stupid enough) to take the most dangerous assets and pieces of scrap that still are worth something under competent hands.
