There has been an ancient debate on how buffer systems between Alpha and Gamma killed off OC/Sair activity, and that these two factions got barely anything to do besides shooting eachother (even despite each of them got half of Sirius as enemies), now Rheinlanders complain that their attempts to conquer Texas and name it Texasburg has been hindered by LORE saying they actually lose the war...
How about Rheinland shooting Corsairs? Exhausted in war, Rheinland need resources to rebuild, but they can't always rely on Kusari or other houses, they also need to dig out their fortune from asteroids nearby. That's one clash point with Hessians already, should mining corporations dare to venture further for more resource fields, they'll eventually meet Corsairs too, who I bet don't like intruders that much.
How about stirring up crap with Bretonia? As far as I know, despite being on the opposite end of Sirius, Rheinland kinda wants to buddy Gallia, they also have one common enemy already, Liberty, and Gallia smashing Bretonia, an ally of Liberty, into pieces already. I'm sure hindering Bretonian efforts to flee to the Omegas would aid Gallia a lot in their conquest, should Rheinland choose that path I can foresee their relations with Gallia changing for the better.
One warfront severed, there are still numerous opportunities. How about instead of crying for the loss of hope to conquer Texasburg, you guys go and play the game, try to exploit all the other opportunities and create activity not only yourselves but other near-dead factions? besides I don't think you guys all would have liked it better if the war ends with Liberty conquering Hamburg like Gallia did with Leeds.
Thyr, I am sure they would if there were any Sairs to shoot at.
One thing is how things are supposed to be, but it is quite another thing how they actually are.
I propose a pragmatic realist approach, because to most people playing, this is a game that is about having fun and not imagining having fun. The lore (as in the lore on paper, not the lore created and enacted by characters in-game) is just fluff that adds depth and atmosphere, which is good, but unfortunately it also creates scenarios that doesn't in any way correlate with what is going on on the server. In the latter case, lore (again, the written "script") is useless.
Also the general idea about this thread was not so much about Rheinland, at least from my perspective, but about giving LNS sensible things to do, and also put them under just a tiny bit of pressure to take the edge off the capspam. Alternatively, they could allow GRN to raid Liberty but I think that would just make people upset.
Make Sairs to shoot at then? I myself made a character to join the GRN when they were not around for my Council boys to be shot at. But oh, look. There they are.
I responded to Rheinland cries due to the derail, but I've already commented on the LNS "issue" earlier.

That would make Liberty cap gankers whining and requesting nerfs on Valors and now nerfed enough cougars. LN players should learn how to use their caps for other purpose than /decloak > /l1 > instakill instead of crying about "OP" Rheinland cruiser and Valors.
