Who says they can't? Where is it said they can't? In visions it's plain narrative form and plain english, even some manifestations they'd use to convey through will talk regular english. It's what I prefer myself on my characters if the situation warrants lengthy RP.
It seems people who try to criticise the subject don't even know what they're talking about. They don't even understand the fact there are two distinct forms of RP used throughout. One is a quick but garbled mess that is 'nomspeak'. The other one is visions which is narrated in normal english. Problem is that the latter takes more times, more lines of text and so on - it's cool for multilayered RP but it's simply too verbose when you need to give out engagement notice or just quick explain that you're not looking to have a conversation.
You may want to re-read this thread carefully, especially the end before it was locked to save you from further embarassing yourself as your arguments with which you have been keeping everyone from RPing a nomad in a slightly not so boring and repetetive way for all these years were crumbling to dust.

It's a different thing entirely. The subject of that linked and locked thread was Nomads talking plain voice not in visions, and that's the main difference there.
Because aliens that can go to space and alter human genes and posess humans and give humans visions in correct spoken english cant make sound waves in correct spoken english, like any PC can since 1990 AD, and any parrot can since 100 000 BC.

No, I think he means that if nomads are so advanced then whats the problem of using plain english like humans do, Is it art or just litature sophistication involved? The whole * we angry, light becomes dark * thing doesn't really work anymore, and don't take this the otherway around - I'm not attacking nomads, its just that when you deal with one - you really have to wonder if he is stupid or insane, or both ( inrp ofc ) - And which is why talking to one is pointless.
Well we had a similar discussion about speech also in AI. Just question yourself why should a more advanced species downgrade their way of communication to the level of humans?

My personal Nomad speak tends to be proper English to some extent, just with a fair few twists. "Poor" Nomadspeak, as I see it, is the kind where you take normal English, replace singular with plural, "good" with "light" and "bad" with "dark", and then cut out half the words and/or grammar.
I can see why people dislike the latter, for I don't like it either.
The good stuff I find near-perfect English, but attempting to illustrate a different way of thinking. A big chunk of symbolism and cryptic wording in small, short sentences.
The main problem is that a lot of people won't understand that, in or out of roleplay, or even both. At those times, if both players are interested in prolonged RP, the Nomad can make an effort to set up a vision in which normal English can be used (although I would argue even said 'normal English' should be cryptic and unusual - Nomads are still aliens). If prolonged RP is not an option, ***(Anger) ... "Our" light will 'purge' all -darkness-*** or something similarly edgy is always an option.
Although attempting to have an intelligent conversation with Karlotta is of course somewhat pointless.

Well, first of all they can and do talk plain english as an infested human. No questions there, right? And if it's a plain nomads 'vessel' they can also do that when they can manifest themselves as some human form within a vision.
So all methods to do that are there already. The question then you should rather have: why is the latter ain't used more often. Right? Or even like why don't we just throw nomspeak out of the window and just use visions, right? But like I said already before - visions tend to be very verbose so they're not that suitable as a quick engagement notice or something like a quick phrase telling another you are not interested in conversation, or just anything that like a quick sentence with no intention of actual dialogue.
But should Nomad players use visions more when the situation presents an opportunity for such RP - yes they definitely should, absolutely. It's more accessible to both parties, of that there is no argument at all. Problem is when people only do nomspeak and that's it. But RP mechanisms enabling talking more directly without garbled nomspeak are there and were there since pretty much the beginning, and they did not change nor there is a need to.

No two species generated from two entirely separate origins in the universe are going to be similar. The number of possible differences are staggering at best between two sentient species, and that number only increases if its an artificially created species, like the K'Hara.
We have no reason to believe, besides our own science fiction, that an alien species would be in any way similar to us. Ergo, they would not communicate like we do.
Furthermore, they may just believe the many nuances of the human languages are irrelevant, and thus not worth bothering with. So long as their point gets across, why bother stooping to the level of a smelly human and communicating like they do.
Also: another issue I feel I should point out is:
Every time (besides 1 or 2 isolated instances) that I personally have tried to communicate through a vision, one of three things happen:
1: They completely ignored the RP attempt and just start gunning me down
2: they have no idea how to respond and just start spamming //PMs
3: Russian
