But if I get you right, you are telling me that your experience of said encounter would have been drastically different if only they had all been using the same ID? Their actions would be judged in a totally different light, and everything would be fine and dandy for you, even though the course of events and the ultimate outcome is exactly the same?
Or are you saying that the reason you lost (I assume you lost) is because of the combination of technology you were facing was somehow hugely unbalanced? If they had all been in ships from the same shipline, you would have won?
Are you entirely sure that it's not just a convenient excuse to oorply dispose of players you can't dispose of in-game?
Simple question: five guys show up and star talking to you, y don't know if they want to shoot you or what. Would you scan every one of them to see their ID?
This user talks little to none english. If you find something wrong tell him.

Factions all over Disco have used broken/op equipment and have aimed for op IDs.
Rule breaches are as abundant on lawful as on the unlawful side in my opinion. The difference is: the GNG guys do not mind it, while the opposite side sees "the cancer" in the GNG guys and collects sanction material.
And: You can be mad at GNG for using broken stuff and spamming insta loadouts, gank and and and... but you will not see them QQ, rage or hate when they get the megagank, get outgunned by op/broken stuff, etc.
I am not defending some of their poor choices, but it is rather obvious from my pov, that there are different ways of judging the same things. If GNG does them, they are bad. If others do it, it's no issue.
I'd find it sad if the only piracy group that can actually give a real fight (except the Lib-Rheinland fights and the weekly Bret-Gallia event) would disappear due to sanctionlancing.
This.
It's obvious the tiny FR5 sanction is pure hate towards us for bringing some activity here and there. Cool np.
- First you ask us to change our Tags because of different ID use. Fine, We were cool with it, we changed them and no one took it as a big deal.
- Now you're coming at us with another lame excuse - Our equipment. Well i got news for you, we're criminals, we steal our s***. You never put it that way did you? We're simply doing what criminals would do. Period. Simple as that.
We have our dirty ways to fight, indeed. But our ganks happen mostly when we're out numbered, out gunned etc. Say - 2 dreads, 1 LAC. Another LABC, Siege Cruisers, the uncountable number snubs, not to mention the GBs too against 6 or 7 of ours. 2 Scyllas, a Sair GB, 3 Rocs, a VHF ( Two VHFs when we're lucky ) Sometimes we win, sometimes we escape, sometimes we lose. Np. We don't complain, we're used to it, and it's funny to see that their numbers increase more and more sometimes. But here comes the most important part - We had fun.
Of all the people in this Community, only a few know what fun means. The rest have either took it too serious, or they get easily butthurt because "Hey!!! I'm the boss, you do what i say or you will see what happens!!" Bla bla, something something, sanction.
Just because they are official, doesn't mean i have to do what they say, i can do whatever i want. Basically this is what we're doing and if they don't like it, they can think of doing something about it by themselves, not crying to the Administration because this little hate of theirs is getting irritating.

Exactly.

Go play a freelancer, a zoner or choose any other faction without hierarchy if you don't want a boss above your head. Nobody is forcing you to choose a role to play, but you are expected to play the role you've chosen. And certain roles include either having or being a boss. Don't like it? Don't chose it.

The outcome is irrelevant what is key here is that said group are breaching ID rules which state 1 id per tag. That is the bottom line.
I assume GNG are rogues based on all the rogue fighting rogue stuff I have seen lately. But what are rogues doing in Rheinland, specifically the capital system?
They are way outside their zoi, oh wait they are multi id'd they must have special Rp to go wherever then?
No rogues don't belong in Rheinland, the fact is they are multi id'd using mixture of techs and do not RP hence they go wherever they want and use whatever tech they want.
This is a classic example of a lolwuts group, such groups need to be stopped.
Personally I don't lose fights because I can jump in and out of any system like it was 7/11. If the balance seems unfair, I can leave and no one can stop me. Me loosing has nothing to do with it! Don't get it twisted this is about rule breaches of the most basic kind.

Do whatever you want, but just use 1 ID when doing it.
Don't mix IDs to get the best tech under the same tag.
If you don't uses 1 ID per tag then you are gonna have big problems. The only other way to bypass it is too fly untagged....
Quote:They are way outside their zoi, oh wait they are multi id'd they must have special Rp to go wherever then?
ZOI isn't concerned about where ships can go. ZOI is concerned about where players can make demands and fulfill specific lines (mainly those ending with "within their zone of influence"). Liberty Rogues can assist their Rheinland allies, because no line forbids them and any ID can assist allies both within and outside ZOI.
TL;DR, you can go anywhere with any ID, but you must keep to the ZOI, if you want to fulfill certain lines.
