Terrorists are political motivated - they ignore workers, transports and so on, they only handle with Police, Military. They are normally not grouped but sometimes 2 or 3 work together. they are not bound to a sector like Rheinland or Bretonia. but they are siriuswide wanted. may be they get a secure Point in gallia or have a hidden place elsewhere to go to.
Terrorist are NOT something like
- Nomadic Liberties
- Outcasted Corsairs
and they dont have Special Equipment but use all they can get.
I'm fine with this except that if I tell an escort/scout to gtfo and he's sitting around telling his transport buddies where not to go I can't engage him.
Once he finds me he can sit next to me free of fear from being shot at (so oorp) while telling his trading group exactly how to avoid me.
Is CDing an engagement? Cause if a military player is CDing me from catching a trader ima be pissed that he can CD me and protect a trader but I can't shoot at him to give myself space...
But the problem is I can't use any other that Freelancer or Pirate ID, because TheUnforgiven's ship is Freelancer IFF-ed. Since he hires my Akapai, I can't use non-generic ID here, as either it gives limitations on ZoI or it is forbidden to do so by lines themselves to cooperate with Freelancer IFF player.

The problem is that any other non-generic ID cannot work with SpecOps ID the Argo has. Both ships are Freelancer IFF-ed, so you can understand why non-generic ID does not work in this case. Lines just forbids cooperation between such players.
Well you could still defend due to having the same affiliation (FL IFF) but couldn't pirate snubs/gunboats on your own from any of the factions I've wanted privateered. Unfortunately they are the most likely things to encounter when dealing with groups like Unione Corse, Hogosha or Xenos, who don't allow higher than GB's and are rarely used to transport cargo.
Never thought a Freelancer ID would look so good. For our RP you are better off now going FL and registering for all of the same blanket bounties. That way in the off chance we fight someone not bountied I can employ you for defense, or if bountied, you can engage even easier than the Pirate ID would have allowed in the first place :/ You can also enjoy a more neutral reputation.

yes - and ?
if you are freelancer iff ed and pirate id ed - why shouldnt you kill or pirate a freelancer with freelancer id? you are a pirate ! Well you may loose your iff when killing npc's but you will stay a pirate.

Yeah, changing into Freelancer ID means all the circus with mapping everything, moving CAU6 from one ship to another, playing once again with all the thinks, because gg with repairing and bribing all these Libertonian and Bretonian NPC factions.

It's more a problem I can't hunt GRN, KNF, Unione Corse, Hogosha, because they do not use transports, as roleplay created for Hidetaka Kojima was to attack both Gallics and Kusari authorities. Only Pirate ID allowed that and now both we, Argo and I, cannot initiate combat during the encounters, what does not make sense for roleplay.
I could use Junker ID, but again, Kusari character using Junker ID would be frowned upon. Both inRP and ooRP.

I think that's quite a valid concern. Lawfuls can now harass pirate ID'ed ships (note harass, not engage) and pirate ID'ed ships won't be able to retaliate. Any admin input on that?
Also, bring back the Vigilante ID. Now that each ID lists if it's lawful/unlawful/semi-lawful, vigilante ID cannot be abused
You mean Pirates can now only pirate? Oh the humanity!
C'mon, it's not like those lawfuls aren't going to engage you anyways. You'll still get your PvP. Just make some bad donut jokes or complain about the quality of recent coffee enterprises.
Or if you aren't worried about losing your Gunboat, there's plenty of Xeno vacancies...

Well Argo's ID hasn't changed, but my pirate ID freighter feels pretty useless now though. Funny thing is people have used the Junker ID for the same thing outside house space and no one ever complained to my knowledge. Would the JM even exist if the Junker ID had been like that? Countless times I saw them make demands on IMG snubs or gunboats or Sagarmanthas in order to initiate PVP. It did not seem unreasonable for mauraders. 'Pay up, regardless of who you are or what you're flying, or you're a target'. Yet, different for independent pirates...
So, all this to keep the LPI safe from indie pirates???
