I have officially left all the factions I was in and now see no point in playing the game after Luke gave up XA leadership like the fool he is. You bloody fool. You better get on TS sometime so I can rage at you for this.

Point is, the very last thing that could possibly bring me back at all (can't make any promises) is if you guys bring back the most iconic ship in Freelancer. The Starflier. Please take a look at its stats and make a MkII version of it. I really never understood why this ship had to be removed from normal gameplay but it SUCKS. I hate the look of this Civilian Shuttle if that's supposed to be its replacement.

If this is too much to ask, then I' terribly sorry for asking you to make a MkII version of a ship that already exists. Good luck.

I own one

Its broken horribly but I got it ^^
Its like 350 cruise
only 1/3 middle slots work... No guns can be mounted.
And the middle jams and wont shoot most of the time.

But worth it

On topic: yes, the starflier should be reintroduced. It's an iconic vessel and a nostalgic relic for anyone who's started the single player campaign at least once.

When I say a MkII version of it Nomnom, I mean leave the trash you guys use as your bank or keep as a collectible, and make a second version that is a viable LF. Something you can fly in as a cheap civilian. Believe it or not, I enjoyed flying cheap civilian stuff and RP'ng this random guy going around stirring the pot when fights break out.

I know devs have been worrying about copyright atm. Wouldn't this stop any edit of the vanilla ships from being added to the mod?

The only 'edit' they will need to make, is stat wise.
A copy of the same ship with new stats.
