I'd like an explination as to why the Official Faction leaders involved in this:
Quote:- The Maltese Nation has stopped buying Premium Scrap as Valetta is on the verge of exploding. Premium Scrap will now be bought for 1500/u.
- The Corsairs have enough Premium Scrap for a while. Premium Scrap will now be bought for 8000/u.
- The Gallic Royal Navy has grown extremely interested in Premium Scrap in order to reduce costs. Maintenon Shipyard in Orleanais will now buy Premium Scrap for 15000/u.
- Yarrrrrrr! The Xenos are back in town. They want to upgrade their duct tape to premium duct tape. They can now mine Premium Scrap at a 2.5x multiplier and Refugio Base in Alabama will buy Premium Scrap for 9000/u. Only a real Xeno will be able to sell his scrap to Refugio.
why were none of the leaders consulted about this?
this is a change that affects a signifigant amount of the playerbase, and none of the leaders of these players were informed or consulted?
So... this is just another last minute behind-closed-doors dev decision that nobody wanted and we're all stuck with because 3 people thought it'd be a cool idea?

I hope the Outcast Premium Scrap buy rate was either a joke or temporary because it is just silly. Now I have always been one to think that the buy price there needed to be nerfed but this is just retarded.
Exactly!
This irritates me immensely. JM, Congress, DSE and ALG have constantly bugged the dev team to work with us in order to 'balance' Premium Scrap (if it needs balancing at all).
I hate to be salty but this new change is ludicrous. JM is the worst affected because we can't sell the Premium Scrap on IMG bases.
In midst of seventy million Junker tears
A downtrodden faction suffering for years from inferior mining
Rejoices
Don't get me wrong, those Junker numbers are lower than they deserve.
But I guess that's what you get for years of breaking the economy with jump trading.
Edit: For the record, the profit rates at Maintenon are almost certainly very close to old Valetta rates.
Edit II: But please, remove the mining bonus on the Golem. Even I'll admit that just isn't fair with it.

The profit of 4200 units of premium scrap per second sold to Maintenon is 62,000 credits.
Let that sink in.
Quote:- The Maltese Nation has stopped buying Premium Scrap as Valetta is on the verge of exploding. Premium Scrap will now be bought for 4000/u.
- The Corsairs have less INTEREST in Premium Scrap for the moment. Premium Scrap will now be bought for 9500/u.
- The Gallic Royal Navy has grown extremely interested in Premium Scrap in order to reduce costs. Maintenon Shipyard in Orleanais will now BUY Premium Scrap for 14000/u.

- Yokohama will now buy Premium Scrap for 9000/u instead of 7500/u.
- ALG has been normalised regarding Premium Scrap. Their multiplier is now 3.0x.
- Gallic Junkers have been normalised regarding Premium Scrap. Their multiplier is now 3.0x.
Premium scrap per second? Maintenon buying at 14k a unit, 4200 units gets you 58800000. So are junkers supposed to sell in Gallia?

Only thing missing is a Council sellpoint at Champagne.
Looks that way. Maintenon wants scrap. Maybe these Junker spys are sifting through our garbage and learning our tech so that one day they can turn our fruit juicers against us. I suppose Gallia can use some traffic if it's here to stay.
