BUT THE ORDER CANT GET THEM NOW. BECAUSE REALISM xdddd
Please go.
Honestly this, I never completely agreed with the Zoner caps stuff. I have come to accept it and just making them vanish isn't an option as it has become accepted lore but wanting the order to lose caps due to lack of supplies is a bit hypocritcal.

I find this ironic since the Order has had no RP with Star except to threaten the base.
We have supplied numerous people in the southern parts of the map, but never supplied the Order because the first interactions we had with them were a siege.
I realize that the game mechanics allow for just wandering in to a base that allows docking, but that doesn't make inRP support of a group.
As an example, Star is supplying TAZ by request. Sure, we could have just flown the consumables into Brunswick and sold them, but that would not have made a relationship with TAZ.
The Order has never tried to RP with Star beyond setting up the conditions needed to assault our base; why would we want to make friends with someone that started the relationship with the threat, and, later, execution of violence?
I'm not entirely convinced that this was really a deliberated decision by the Admins and not a knee-jerk reaction.
Not only is this (apparently, so I was told) not deliberated with the various zoner faction heads and such to determine if they even wanted it, and the Order Leader given a chance to at least sort it out quietly before taking measures, It also does not help either of the factions. Order may take some iRP damage but those consequences would have to be enforced by something more than a rephack. Some of the ones mentioned in the thread would work. Although you'll need to do a lot of convincing before I'll believe that a bunch of hobos living on the fringe are the primary suppliers of a cutting-edge paramilitary. I don't doubt that they constitute a significant portion of said supplies, particularly basic ones. But serious resource funding on a scale require to maintain even a small paramilitary should be beyond the means of societal outcasts like the Zoners (that is their traditional RP, it's been mutilated to such an extent though.)
Then again, we've seen this kind of over exaggeration of Zoner importance in affairs before. The Corsair version of this saw a lot of the same strawman. The Corsairs didn't buy it, and their resource crunch is as severe if not more severe than the Order's. But until the Admin team or Dev team issues a definitive statement on how important (or not, as the case might be) zoners really are, we can't really say for certain.
What is required at this juncture is for the Admin team to foster reconciliation, allow the involved factions to present arguments and viewpoints and look to reverse this decision, or at least make the involved factions make relevant roleplay gestures towards bridging this divide.
Or we can continue throwing mud at each other and being generally whiny toddlers. That works too. Because the kind of argument that's coming from you people...dear god.
Although i agree with the Argument about the INRP consequence of the Order loosing a (not the. A) supply line via the Zoners, as with anything thats happened in this mod and Server, it accounts for nothing. None of the lore of any faction has been followed at any time when this sort of thing happens. Planet Akabat as stated by its infocard is capable of supporting life and it even says the Order have been quick to utilize this. So the idea inrp of the Order not being able to support that side of things is rubbish. Now, does this mean that Akabat also holds the ability to produce whats needed to build capitol ships and that the Order have the man power to do so? Possibly. But it could be safe to say there are components to the ships that would HAVE to be imported. Capitol ships regardless of faction take time resources and effort to build But this is completly ignored by probably everybody here Zoners, despite myself playing one, are THE worse for it. But it just shows that nothing INRPlY matters. We could state and all agree that the Order are weaker due to the lack of Zoner support INRP, would that do anything. No, would do Sweet F A. So why argue using points that no ones really going to follow. Since if you think about it, the hathor although is an Order gunboat is still a Zoner Conference underneath using some Zoner parts, if your not allies with Zoners how would you get the Zoner specific parts. Again this will just be ignored. Same goes for the "neph" flagship, thats an entirely Zoner vessel not ganna get parts for it easily, any of this ganna be changed? course not.
If realism and what not were being followed we would have ALOT less caps and alot more fighter/bomber squadrons.
What im saying is, all this thats been said means nout, rp wise it means little Order players will still make Order caps, reps are changed and Order folk might have to fly a little further to get items. so this entire argument is pointless

I've already been thrown into a Skype chat with Zoner and Order leaders. I've stated the case from the standpoint of the Admins. I've also told them that if both factions want to be green with each other again, then they can roleplay that way, both in game and on the forums. I've shown the way to reconciliation. It is up to them to take that road, should they so choose.
In fact there's one ally of The Order that everyone keeps forgetting about:
GMG. They are minor powertraders, who are said to be a mini-house, being between huge conglomerations (Samura, Kishiro) and actual small houses (Corsairs, Outcasts). They have bigger capability and possibly unlimited funds, due to the fact that H-Fuel is the most basic fuel in whole Sirius and GMG in fact monopolised H-Fuel market, backstabbing every non-GMG attempt (Samura, Kruger) in production of such item.

Pretty cool. Drop me a PM with Skype details if you want a more candid viewpoint.
"I'm so superior and don't play a Zoner character, BTW here's what the Zoners should want, also lore should never deviate from vanilla because that would be bad."
