It's nice to have a lot of systems compared with vanilla, it makes discovery very attractive.
But at the same time, it dilutes the activity. Considering the current number of players on the server I think we should keep on reducing the number of systems.

QQ's, Can we keep the name Humboldt and remove Kansas?
But Kansas is an amazing system... Humboldt is kinda boring honestly >.>
Humboldt, with two ore fields, pirates, and a base (both player and NPC), vs Kansas, a desolate, empty, worthless system, with a jump-gate to an alien system
But kansas is soooo cool, plus the stuff is coming to Kansas(well at least the base although I think the ore field as well) but Humboldt just seems bland to me.

At any rate, I asked if the name could be kept at the very least
For those complaining about Gallia not shrinking; fear not.
Also note that changes in the rest of Sirius are not yet complete, and a few more are soon to disappear. Illinois, for example, is getting removed. Plus some Taus, possibly a Rheinland or two, etc.
The only thing I haven't seen any news about are the Hispanic systems. I'll go poke around

...Why?
Lore in Discovery is not bound to Vanilla Freelancer, neither should it be, opening up the guard system of a faction like the Hellfire Legion serves to make them better included in the mod, and I see nothing wrong with that.
So many factions in Discovery exist that did not exist in "Vanilla Freelancer", so many factions exist in Discovery that exist in a WAAAAAAAAAY different way now, then they did in "Vanilla Freelancer".
Discovery Freelancer is NOT 'Vanilla Freelancer", and it sure as heck bears little resemblance to it these days, and I'm hard pressed to believe that that's a bad thing. Discovery took Freelancer, and EXPANDED upon it, and it continues to expand and change in ways that I bet Digital Anvil never even thought Freelancer could.
I also have to wonder what you think is wrong with a faction opening itself up in a manner that makes it more inclusive and accessible?
But, can we talk about the map more, instead of focusing on something because of a specific faction?
Dude, we aren't even following Discovery Lore, as every house (minus Gallia perhaps) possess no more than 10 BBs and CVs, not counting these stationary ones.
