Right chaps, tonight has been one of absolute chaos around Freeport 1. No doubt you've heard about it from your fellows who were onboard already, but I just wanted to forward my own personal complaint about certain pilots' conduct and lack of decorum.

Myself in the BES Johnson and Mr Clarke aboard the BES MacGregor had been running goods to the nearby Appleton Laboratory, when we noticed a Gallic bomber named Stefan_Steiner and a Red Hessian cruiser called The-Fallen-Raider loitering on top of the Freeport. This pair of cretins were obviously up to no good, and already in violation of s2.5 due to the cruiser. We also have it on good authority that they had previously attacked an IMG convoy outside the station, which I am sure Mr Henderson (copied in) can comment on.

After I'd passed, the criminal Steiner initiated an act of piracy against my colleague in the MacGregor while skirting the edge of your NFZ. In any case, that's immaterial compared to what happened next. Our distressed situation drew the BAF Churchill Wakawsky. As we returned from Appleton, we arrived in time to witness the pair attack the officer without provocation while within 4k of the station. Furthermore, the cruiser even hit the station repeatedly, resulting in the gunners opening fire in self defence. The BAF gunboat responded with evasive maneuvers and restraint, being both outmatched by the cruiser and unwilling to endanger the Freeport. The IMG convoy the pair had earlier attacked arrived back on the scene as the gunboat fled.

This is the point where things get downright bemusing and chaotic. Two Corsairs undocked, the cruiser Ralvek and the gunboat Descarron, followed by the Molly [M]Tristian.O'Conner and another Hessian (Hantzy.Goodgundu) appearing from the nearby ice clouds. At this point the record becomes unclear, seeing as Mr Henderson was fired upon, resulting in the IMG forces retaliating and taking down Steiner. So far as I'm concerned this was an act of justice, and well overdue. The Molly and Hessian then used the confusion to attack the Corsairs, further violating the no fire zone! At this point, a full on brawl was going on.

While the majority of the involved belligerents wound up dead - considering the assorted pack of pirates and terrorists there, that's no bad thing (shame the Corsair didn't go down too) - an official Zoner reprimand would still be desirable. Their reckless combat put shipping at risk, and could've damaged the station. Novas and gunboat razors were flying everywhere! I understand you chaps can do very, very little to prevent this kind of madness - nor would I expect you to - but a firm message should be sent to dissuade future chaos. Denying all involved docking rights would be perfect - especially those two cretins who started it all!

We understand that ships are directed not to loiter around the Freeport, but in this case we felt compelled to document the ongoing security risk in the area and maintain our support capability in the event that other civilian assets came under attack. I'm sure the other individuals I've copied in will be able to provide further context as to this evening's activities. Given that Bretonia, the IMG and the Zoners are all neighbours in Omega 3, I feel we all have a duty to preserve the peace and prosperity of the region.

Funnily enough, an RNC battleship - RNC-Lipcse - was also loitering around the Freeport when we first arrived. Something to do with a hyperdrive, unless I'm much mistaken. Unfortunately, I didn't see enough to gather any useful information.

I have read your report and am greatly concerned. less than a month after taking charge and such chaos and mayhem happens to occur. It is most concerning that these vagabonds have no respect for the sanctity of a freeport.It is fortunate that no lives onboard were lost.

Your loitering and that of the IMG vessels can be considered as acting in the common interest of zoners and Bretonia so neither group will face any issues. Rest assured that all vessels involved in the firefights will face stiff penalties upto and including potential loss of docking rights to zoner stations

I will await the report from IMG, and any reports or matters from the BPA and BAF.

What my respected superior just mentioned is very true; there was certainly a lot of madness around the Freeport and I am still desperately trying to wrap my head around it. It feels reality itself is shattering. To think these- these people could endanger the poor folks of the Freeport is absolutely insane.

Thankfully Mr. Peterson covered the details so all I will say is that I fully support his statement and ask you to view these incriminating shots taken by the bridge computer. Beware, the irresponsibility these people show might shock you.

Brave Officer Tries But Fails To Cool Situation

I can only imagine the hideous shock the poor people in their living quarters and the biomes felt when they saw these bright flashes. At times our entire bridge shook and had it not been for the sturdiness of Bretonian engineering we certainly would have had injured. Imagine if the dumbfire torpedoes fired by the Molly left his fighter's launchers while he was facing the Freeport and he missed the Corsairs. He would have bloody well torn off a good chunk of the Freeport!

The Chaos Continues

This one further proves my point, they fought so close to the Freeport that one torpedo or Razor shot would have caused an utter disaster.

My love for the Freeport makes me say that I certainly hope- nay demand to see justice! Allowing this sort of reckless abandon near one of the Freeports would be an offense equivalent to capital treason.

I have to admit that this has been the weirdest day in Omega 3 for a long time. Likely in years. I'll not explain much and waste words, if one singly picture can hint at the mess.

My account of what happened:

After Stefan_Steinar tried to pirate IMG| miners in Omega 3, and then cloaked when engaged, recon vessels were sent out to look for him. He was found near Freeport 1. The scene was unclear and some conversation followed. In this, the BowEx Commanders also claimed that Mr. Steinar had attacked them earlier, too. When the Corsair Cruiser undocked, things became chaotic, even more so when the Hessian Cruiser closed in and a Corsair gunboat came.

Suddenly, there was firing. I do not know who opened fire, and whether it was meant to kill the BowEx transport below me, or me (see attachment 1). However, my bomber was hit, luckily only the shields failed. I expected an instant kill attempt by Cruiser and bomber. The following seconds were total chaos, and in this chaos, I took out the pirate bomber Steinar that I suspected to be part of the instantkill attack.

To assess the situation after some furious moments of firing, IMG wings disengaged form the madness and tried to keep an overwatch on what was happening (see attachment #2). The Corsair gunboat destroyed 3 or 4 snubs near the Freeport. Then ran off. When it was close to Sprague, BowEx transports and IMG bomber wings engaged it but did not manage to destroy it.

I'll attach some more pictures that contain names and a bit of information on the chaotic situation.

I had hoped it wouldn't be necessary to bother you again Ms Wyrdmake, but almost one month on we've encountered yet another regrettable incident. A pirate known as Silent.Scorpion (Cutlass bomber with a cloaking device) has been causing a small amount of bother in Omega 7, '3 and Cambridge. This would not normally be your problem, but he appears to be staging from your Freeport and has claimed the area around it as his 'turf'. I've included a report from one of our ExSec agents below which contains the specifics.

Anyway, this all took place between 3-5k from the Freeport. The Clydesdale BES Quentin Pelham then turned up to try and work out just what the hell was going on given that I was reading as engaged in combat. Scorpion immediately switched targets and attacked him. Silly bugger apparently wasn't prepared for a kitted out war Clyde, and ended up fleeing with his tail between his legs a few moments later. I ordered weapons cold at that point, seeing as he was running to the Freeport and attempting to use the superstructure as a shield while his cloak charged.

Not really wanting to damage the station or piss off the Zoners too much, we let him go. Either way, we need to get this fella sorted out (yeah, that's you management lot's job). He's attackin' our blokes from the Freeport's bays, and hiding behind the Zoner's skirts to avoid reprisals. In any case, I don't rate his shooting, so as long as we can stop him cloaking, ExSec should be able to finish the job in extremely short order. It's just the issue of the Freeport that concerns me.

As you can see from the evidence, the pirate has been loitering around the Freeport in order to pick out targets (in breach of 2.6). He then - unprovoked I might add - attacked our agent outside the Freeport (in breach of 2.2). Our agent was eventually forced to defend himself after enduring the attacks for some time - see damage to said agent's shields in the recorded evidence, and a full power meter and munitions complement as evidence of restraint in returning fire.

Said pirate was to repeat the above a second time with the arrival of a Clydesdale freighter, whom he immediately switched focus to and attacked - perhaps wrongfully believing it'd be an easy target?

In any case, the most concerning part of the incident pertains to said pirate's retreat. The report indicates he willfully placed the Freeport in danger by fleeing to it and flying in tight circles around the structure while his cloaking device charged. Our agents showed the good judgement in desisting their self-defence at this point, out of concern for the Freeport's wellbeing - a sentiment that Scorpion evidently lacks. Incidentally, also in breach of 2.7.

At this point in time, we've no evidence of the pirate actually docking on your station, seeing as he has a tendency to turn himself invisible while running away from Bowex security vessels. Despite this, I see no reason why you should allow him to dock in future either, given his flagrant disregard for your laws and absolute disrespect for Zoner hospitality. If you have any further questions, do please feel free to contact me.

Thank you again for your prompt reply to this disheartening matter. The speed in which these sorts of incidents have been dealt with does credit to your Freeport and has greatly reassured Bowex as to our future good relations. A delivery of Tea and perhaps also Bretonian gin should not be a trouble in the slightest. However, that is not all I wished to inform you of. There has regrettably been yet another development in this particular case.

We've received further reports from ExSec Agent Brown from earlier this day regarding the aforementioned menace, Silent.Scorpion. During a routine patrol of Omega 3, he again found him loitering outside the Freeport. This resulted in said pirate challenging our pilot to combat, and thankfully moving away from the Freeport. Outside the No-Fire Zone, a small scuffle broke out which later grew to include a Corsair bomber and LSF gunboat that happened to be in the area.

Again, Scorpion repeated his stunt from yesterday, and upon retreating attempted to use the Freeport as a shield. It appears he accidentally triggered the defence grid, and was chased away with a flea in his ear. The LSF operative later destroyed him as he attempted to flee down a trade lane. Brown assures me that at this point he was merely spectating as an observer. The aspect that worries me is of course that this incident underlines the fact that this is an unrepentant pattern of behavior and not an isolated incident. Unfortunately, the evidence associated with this incident is sub-par at best - and we will be chastising Mr Brown appropriately for that - so primarily I am informing you for context and little more.

Good day to you again, administrator. I dropped off a load of Tea and a small sample of New London's gin earlier today. They were left in the care of your staff and earmarked for your use. Feel free to do with the goods as you wish, courtesy of Borderworld Exports.

Again, this isn't the sole reason we're contacting you though. Frankly, the pirates launching from your Freeport are stressing our good faith in the Zoner's will to take care of these issues to breaking point. Despite our earlier reports, Silent Scorpion is continuing to base from your Freeport, buy the equipment and ammunition he needs to murder my employees and hunt for targets while hiding behind the protective curtain of the no fire zone.

Frankly, this is beyond the pale. I have attached two further reports detailing recent activities, which demonstrate him undocking from your Freeport and then committing further acts of wanton endangerment in relation to myself and my staff. Ideally I would like to see a strong and immediate response from your staff to firmly condemn this reckless and illegal chain of actions; docking rights denied and a punitive bounty placed until the offender is brought to justice. Borderworld Exports would be happy to assist with the latter, if need be.

Frankly, this individual poses a serious threat to the safety and wellbeing of all civilian commerce in the Omega 3 system, and unless appropriate steps are taken to remove him, I will be forced to escalate this issue by reporting it to the BAF. I would much prefer you were given the option to fix this unfortunate scenario internally, so I sincerely hope this won't be necessary.

Ms Miranda O'Neal was also en-route from the Cambridge gate, waiting to join the escort detail.

Two lanes away from the Freeport, so, roughly 14k away, the lane was dropped by none other than Jackdaw who it transpires was actually an aspiring pirate. Not a very successful one either. He ordered us to stop, so I ordered him to die. Seemed to be a fair exchange. Scorpion dutifully turned up at this point and demanded we pay his unfortunate accomplice 5 million credits. We politely declined, although this is watertight evidence of his skullduggery and the fact that he is basing his attacks from the Freeport.

Needless to say, we turned about and set a course for Sprague, it being relatively close-by and a friendly holding. Jackdaw was served a delicious plate of void pâté, courtesy of Casey while Scorpion followed him through a few short minutes later with a large helping of Tamara's 'antimatter surprise'. The AB1 with Mr(?) Brown at the helm arrived in time to oversee the grand finale. A positive result for the company all-round. There is of course still the unpleasant matter of the pirates basing off the Freeport (and I had been led to believe the Zoners had taken action already), but there we go.

Oh, the guns got to New London just fine as well.
