When a ship is named <faction>.<name>.<last name> and you start by asking questions like "what's your name" or "what's a docking module" expect the quality of the RP to quickly go downhill from there. I went over the logs once more and, quite frankly, the encounter we had with you was so bizarre that I cannot even start explaining it properly. So instead I will do so in limerick!

The incident begins with the Rogues,
Always scheming for money, those toads.
So the Tinkers were Chosen,
In the wast target Ocean
For they liked to transport large Loads.

So we came up to those Tinkers and said
"Hey, you'all wanna stay not-dead?
Start working with us,
Just make sure there's no fus,
And we'll make sure your breakfast ain't led."

And that offer they would embrace,
As there are already dangers in space.
So the Tinkers Replied
"Hey boys, it's alright,
As long as we don't get shot in the face."

So our story continues with a newbie,
Whose day would now become a doozie,
When he encountered my boy,
Who he soon started to annoy,
As he was stuck with base supply duty.

Sadly we couldn't give less of a crap,
Since we knew how he needed to act,
For all Tinkers paid Tribute
Which now was an Issue
Because the guy was about to snap.

He failed to answer our interrogation,
As he mentioned modules and their station,
For all we wanted to know,
Was he making them for our Foe
So we promptly removed his Engines.

And now we found ourselves in the present,
Where I have all right to tell you to get bent.
For YOU were out of loop
Of the dealings of your group
So stop being such a whiny peasant.

I chatted on this with Spazzy as Tinkers Leader ...

All Tinkers and Rogues :

Tinkers are expected to offer some pocket money fast. Server min. is 100.000 sc and would be accepted by LR. I would say offer a mil, but then let the Rogues sing a bit...: other pirates around, opportunities for a pickup ect.

We have an agreement between T&T/ and LR- , that Tinkers are no prime targets and recognize the crime lords of LR as a major power in Liberty. We pay a monthly fealty to the crime lords for the safety of the Haven, and "show our respects" in readily offered cash if we meet them underway. So we do NOT WAIT till a demand is issued.

In return we can send a plea for help to LR- any time other pirates show up ( T&T/ : NOT against LH~ , I trust no Tinker would be so stupid and try to play the Rogues against the Hackers as we have an agreement with them too. And I would personally flay the offender if he survives ). So if you get harassed by any Independent Pirate, or if you see an Outcast Cap ship blocking the lanes : hey, tell the local crime scene, it´s their turf after all ?

As for the Thruster shot off : Fair game.
23 mil is no really big loss for a trader character.
We are setting up inRP Insurance at Tinkers for our members to meet "expenses" while in a RP flight or in a bad encounter. If you really think the 23mil are important I will refund you from T&T/Bank.

Now the serious point :

ONLY in urgent cases. Best switch to private chat ( green ) , or use inRP in system or local chat. Or just go along, get shot, send me the Logs and a screenshot with timestamp and we will either send a sanction note or sort it out inRP or between factions.
Spazzy and me now have a skype chat open to deal with such issues, and cloggind the faction feedback repeatedly with demande is not what a feedback chat is about.

If you post in a feedback thread : state what you felt, if you like it or not, if you see issues or feel that behaviour should be changed. All else :
send a PM to the faction leader. Or to your own faction leader as we take responsibility for exactly those purposes.

Back to Feedback about LR- :

I am watching the current LR- revivial with mixed feelings.
Torpedoe wing is about LULZ... okay... I will try and evade them :-)

As for the rest :

Currently LR- sems to be pulling in the right direction, setting up a crazed and agressive group of Pirates.

Pirating is part of the game, if you like it or not.
The deal T&T/ and LR- have is exactly meant to reduce the stress on T&T/traders and skippers. Toss them a few hundred thousand or a mill, be a bit careful about not provoking them, or "bigmouthing them" as Spazzy said in his inRP post from Mort and you will be safe from more.

That is actually not trolling , but normal life in DISCO.
And as the LR- specifically warned that the Thruster is targeted and gave plenty of RP before finally shooting : np with that either.

Sure : getting shot and loosing your cargo is cheaper. But that is ooc too.
inRP : You got away with your life, and will get your Thruster refitted easily.

For me : case closed.

Right, gonna bump this again.
Over the past half a month we have seen a few new members joining in as well as a few more changes here and there: hopefully towards the better.

With LR- now being the single only faction to represent the Rogues as an NPC faction, I think now it is time to focus on community feedback and suggestions in particular about what they would like to see from a Liberty-based, highly-aggressive and expansionist group of assholes.

Kudos! Had a great encounter with one of your newer Recruits LR-You.call.this.clean? Was indeed great fun and we stood like almost an hour or 2 don't remember pirating between Liberty - Kusari.

All I can say is, LR is a disappointment after what I saw today. I've never really encountered LR- before, but I am glad I didn't. I am sorry, but when you also make a thread saying "Motivate your members to log", then go and put 1 Scylla, 3 GBs, 6-7 snubs on 4 VHFs, there is something wrong. You know, motivating someone to log against stuff like that is hard, when you know the faction you will face cares least about you. I also didn't enjoy how your certain members acted after the fight.

Bragging about a 10v4 is a little dumb. Tongue
