Incoming Transmission from Planet New London, New London system

To: The office of Chief Constable Nigel Hutchinson; The War Cabinet of Bretonia Priority: High Topic: Modular Base Construction Registration.
Good day to you, ladies and gentlemen
My name is Sir James Cromwell, and I am currently serving in the capacity of a chartered consultant for Borderworld Exports. I believe I have likely worked alongside many of you, either during my time as the DO of Borderworld Exports, or my far longer tenure as a senior civil servant within the Department for Trade and Industry. Today I am approaching you vis-à-vis the construction of a new modular holding in the New London system.
Borderworld Exports is intensely interested in establishing a new export hub in the orbit of Planet New London, specifically in the vacant area between the trade lanes to the Dublin jump gate and Southampton Shipyard. This would be designed as a convenient public sale point for BMM produce and to a lesser extent retrofit docking module products offered by Bowex Services. This station would complement Thames Depot's storage facilities, as well as providing an outlet for unrefined goods onto the open market.
The reason for contacting the War Cabinet directly instead of utilising the standard registration channel is threefold. I would like to establish a more personal dialogue with the officials directly involved, as I understand several of Bowex's proposals would directly contravene established guidelines.
Borderworld Exports wishes to attain permission to establish a structure within the prescribed and regulated 10k perimeter around Planet New London. The Board is more than willing to waive the right to any defence platforms in order to achieve this.
Borderworld Exports wishes to attain permission to operate the structure at 'defence mode 2', allowing all and any with the correct lawful affiliation to dock at the station without the requirement of registering.
Finally, Borderworld Exports wishes to know if any arrangement may be made as to waiving the licensing fee for the station's zoning. The structure would be operated by a state institution on behalf of the state, after all. This could entail shipments of war goods gratis, or some other appropriate accommodation.
The project has currently been assigned the working designation of 'Canary Wharf', although clarification as to its permanent naming would of course be forwarded prior to any undertaken construction. As Borderworld Export's sanctioned representative, do please feel free to forward any queries or proposals on to me.
Yours in service to the Queen

Topic: Modular Base Construction Registration.
Good Day Sir James Cromwell,
After our meeting and lunch at The Duchess Social Club, which I must say was very enjoyable, I have great pleasure in informing you that your Request, for Borderworld Exports to build a Modular Base, has been approved.
It may be built within the 10k perimeter around Planet New London as long as there is no intention to build any Defence Platforms.
Permission is also granted for Borderworld Exports to operate the structure at 'defence mode 2.
As Borderworld Exports originally had a Modular Base established within the Borders of Bretonia the normal Licencing Fee has been waivered, but the initial 50 million Credits for Administration Fees will still have to be paid.
Once the Administration Fee has been paid and the intended name, of Modular Base, has been forwarded to the Licencing Department then they should be able to process the paperwork very swiftly.
Bretonia recognises the sterling work that Borderworld Exports does and wishes you well on your endeavour.
Yours Sincerely,
Nigel Hutchinson
Chief Constable of the BPA.

Good day to you, Chief Constable
As ever, it is a pleasure to hear from you. We really must schedule another lunch meeting at some point in the future - a most productive encounter indeed. I must also thank you for your reasonable response and gracious approval of our request. It does credit to the government to see trade and industry nurtured in such a manner.
I can confirm that the installation will read as 'Canary Wharf Station'. We also whole-heartedly and unreservedly agree to the conditions specified - defence platforms are not on our relative horizon. The deposit has also been forwarded to a relevant holding account aboard the QCG|HMS-Endeavour.
The paperwork will naturally also be filed in duplicate with the BPA licensing department to ensure there are no administrative anomalies. As ever, a pleasure working with both the BPA and Her Majesty's representatives.
