Explain this to me, please.
To make sure the server remains online. To make sure the forums are up and running and the game server/other servers are running as well. It's pretty simple. They touch the buttons that control the server stuff.

Did you ask politely without pointing fingers? Not really. You made a thread and it started out fine. Cori even offered to look into the logs. But when Alley (and then later others) tried to explain how the rules regarding the shoutbox worked you decided to argue and demand things. Again, ask nicely and you can normally get help. I've been banned from the shoutbox before and I PMed an admin asking what was going on and it was because I broke rules. I agreed and carried on, and was unbanned later on when I asked to be.
Again, you are being demanding when you should be requesting.
Also, I mixed you and Nom up about bringing up a mod doing something. My mistake, I didn't read the poster correctly.

Doesn't seem like that, really.
If you have any complaints regarding player's behaviour, then please go and post a Violation Report with proof. Untill then, I see just ~your~ words and no proof.
Oh so I have not said anything for a long time and the one time i say something there is : "doesnt seem like that"

Ha.. okay
Did you ever post a player request to be unblocked from the shout? And by that I mean a polite request, not a demading "UNBAN ME NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".

If I did something wrong, I would like to get better. But firstly I need to know that I did something wrong. For example I got myself a warning a couple of days ago about using bad words in disguise, and I do agree that I was wrong there, so since then I try not to use them.
Pathetic dude! You got Block from SB and you didn't even wait for a moment, so the team could tell you what you did actually and you start all those rage. TBH I don't really post/talk much from here am off.

Hey nOmnomn0m, I think you and me have to do what that cat is doing in Miaou's avatar to Admins' backs. (I would've used a dirty word) Y'know what I mean, get good with them and then they'll unban you. "One hand scratches another."
I don't tend to get involved in these types of Threads but having read the last 3 pages I thought I would put my two pennies worth in.
To use an analogy that hopefully most of the Community, if not all, can relate to.
There is an Ale House, Pub, Nightclub or whatever they are called in the different Countries that the Community belong to.
Within this 'Pub' are the Owners/Management and Staff. It is also frequented by a multitude of people, of differing ages and likes/dislikes.
Now within the Group of Customers there are some that swear, cause fights, arguments or are generally deemed disruptive. This behavior is seen, by the Owners, not to be conducive to having a happy environment within their Establishment. Not only that, certain of the patrons also complain to the Owners/Management about these people.
Now the Owners/Management have to make the decision whether to allow these disruptive few to remain, with the possibility of losing the majority of the Customers, or get rid of the disruptive element.
The choice comes down to whether it is a permanent exclusion or a temporary one, the latter possibly hoping that when they come back they have improved.
The Owners/Management do not have to give an explanation when they decide to exclude someone, they just go ahead and do it. The allowance of being able to enter in to this Establishment is a Privilege not a Right.
Now if these disruptive people do get barred they have some choices, themselves. They can accept their fate and move on (possibly bemoaning that life is unfair) OR they can see the error of their ways, apologise and ask to be allowed back into the Establishment. Demanding to be allowed back in, will 100% of the time, not get them anywhere.
Now, I am sure, that you being an intelligent person, can put this in to a Discovery context.
As for the Shoutbox, does there need to be a set of RULES signposted everywhere? Or is it too much to expect people to behave, as expected in a polite society, without somebody having to tell you how to act?
How people and their friends behave towards each other in the privacy of their own homes is entirely up to them. When people are out in public a certain standard of behavior is expected. Being on a Public Forum should have the same standards of behavior as though it was in public.
'I would like to be half as clever as some people like to believe they are' Life is full of disappointments, it is how we handle them that helps to define us, as a person

Hah. Pub, Nightclub? Terrible analogy.
Judging by the rules and the enforcement thereof, it's more like a preschool. Call somebody a meanie? Off to timeout with you!
Pubs and Nightclubs are frequented by adults and a certain degree of maturity when dealing with other people's words is expected. Not here, where any chance of hurting somebody's precious, fragile feelings is punished with extreme prejudice.
Don't make the rules sound more reasonable than they are.
St. Denis, with all respect, I have a friend who is one of the owners of a night club. He doesn't kick out anybody from his club without giving them at least 3 chances. Also, he doesn't want to lure customers away because words spread among many people nowadays.
In the end don't sum up how a person thinks and behaves just after ONE incident.
Also, as Karst said above do not compare a club with these tiny forums we have here.
I suggest going back to your clubbing.
