I don't think I need to answer that question, whats important here is that the admins, MULTIPLE Admins might I add, have answered the topic question and now it has simply turned into a back and forth between one side explaining why it is, and the other completely ignoring their explanations and continuing their whining.

There is no more point to this thread, therefor I request that it be locked before it turns into something worse than it already is.

I will say that most of the comments from the staff and those supporting them in here are just embarrassing, some of the supporters sound like they have been in the sex dungeon for so long theyve forgotten what freedom is. what is it with people with ironic nicknames on the forums. Freedom phantom.. Haste.. lol.

I'm sorry, but I respect the authorities of this game because without them, this place would turn into nothing but a pit of rage. Without the Admins, no matter who they may be or were, they did their best to provide a fun and relatively calm place for us Roleplay nutters of society to live out our fantasies of space exploration, combat and everything in between. They do their best to make this place fun and exciting yet they get nothing in return, not a pound, Penny, Euro, Looney, dubloon, or sandwich. They do this out of their own free will, spending their spare time and energy to give us a funplace to "live". So I'm sorry, but when an admin tells me something about how things work, I don't argue, I nod and say, "Thank you for explaining." and do my best to follow the rules.

I never said I blindly agree with them, I listen to their explanations or side of the argument and actually try and think abut the issue from more than one side if the debate. And, what 2 minutes of hate? Requesting this now useless thread that has gone from arguing about shout box bans to arguing about whether we should respect the admins or not, for which I already said the discussion would turn to something other than the OP and turn ugly? Yeah.

As for the actual topic, demanding respect and politeness for an arbitrary decision with no oversight or adequate review processes in a forum of a dying game is going to go down well. I approve.

Nope. Not bad at all. Personally, I think a report should be posted publicly stating why and when a person gets banned/sanctioned by the Admins each and every time, just like with forum misconduct, even if the situation is obvious. On the other hand, there is no excuse for pisspoor behavior and abuse of shoutbox. People doing so know what they are doing. If they don't, then it's a public service removing them permanently from the privilege of posting. If they do, then we have a Request subsection in the forum where they can apologize and request to be unbanned. Not entirely an unfair system.
