The attackers just rolled over all defense (9 Valors), took them 1 minute. Or 2 to kill every resistance.
Then another 5 minutes Cerbing on the base.
Less than 10 minute, everything done.
And everybody logged off again.
This is the definition of wasted potential.
If -this- is what a pre-defined event creates for the winning side, I do not even want to see an event in which there is actually something to win.
And who ever said there will be events where outcome decides major lore development? This should have been evident by now after experiences of past, but in case somebody was lacking them, here's experience now.
Whoever made the call to make the Colorado Springs destructible screwed up, next time (even if the outcome is planned) wait till the last half hour of the event to make things destructible, I have no incentive to log into this fight now

I agree. I could not say it better. Let's just switch all California stations and planets to Gallic and make someone happy.

Until people here dont change their approach and start logging for weaker side there will be no balanced fights. Changing side which was quite normal in normal one-time events is something i didnt see during this event once. Everybody just wants points and money and whats easier to get that than joining stronger side. Honestly, i was happy to see this kind of event to bring some activity, in the end i was just disappointed. From 10-15 fights i had in cali i somehow enjoyed maybe one and thats just bad result. I dont think that event itself was bad, just people acted, well, like people. I know we cant expect much from not skilled players but how they can learn to play nice and fair if veterans/ skilled players dont show them the right way. Which didnt happened for sure, even though some people tried. Everybody knows how much anger can bring bad experience in game to player, after this week i dont feel any anger, just sadness. And that is probably even worse.
No, I won't update my account to enable 3rd party hosting!
