Things are looking up, after taking almost twice as long as promised I have had the Roach Coach returned to me in about the same condition as I left her in, although it does appear they did get the grit out of the corners of the floor. To get the crew back into the swing of things I’ve mainly focused on lawful…ish trade. Although after we reach Malta again I’ll be right back on the old routes.
This place is to goddamn big, and extra three days to Malta! This batch is already weak. With the Pass Closed I’ve been forced to take an alternate route back to Omicron Alpha via Kusari. And I can’t stand it. With any luck its only temporary.
The Roach Coach has lost its flight status, for whatever reason you choose to believe. And its screwed me royally. I had to ask to borrow a freighter to make the trip to Malta, only able to stack a hair over 200 slaves in this itty bitty thing. Its mortifying the conditions they will have to endure. However I must admit that the captains suite is quite nice, those Rogues know how to relax.
I managed to meet up with Captain Antares near Barrier Gate, which made the run on the pass that much easier. Despite how hard the local bounty hunters are attempting to disrupt trade we managed to make the trip with ease. We’ll see how this freighter works out while I sort out the Roach Coach

Things still suck, just slightly less so.
I met a man called Lou at a bar called The Cave while at Niverton. We managed to come to a deal about the Roach Coach which will hopefully get me flight status. And all it’s going to take from me is one wee little run to Malta.
I noticed its been awhile since I’ve made a log, things with Lou have going swimmingly. To the point that I’m now a full-fledged Niverton Rogue. Me and Lou have taken a group of slaves to Freeport 10, we are going to stop over quickly to drop off the Roach Coach’s new IFF and Identification papers, unfortunately the dock master was out, or dead, or something, and couldn’t handle the transfer

While dropping off the new papers for the Roach Coach I decided to look the ship over once, it looks like my crew chief forgot to take care of the cargo, and it’s now all going to have to be written off as a loss, and probably scrubbed out, I don’t know how they didn’t notice the smell, or more likely the slowly softening screams as the cargo perished off. I should probably invest in a power washer

We reached Malta all right, and there was this huge blue…thing in orbit of the planet, that, I donno, was friendly to us I guess, friendly enough at least to give me a unit of liquid cardimine.
I’ve been slowly adjusting to the new routes available to me, Padua is by far the smallest station I have ever been on, but they want some of the Orange dream just like everyone else. The Nivertion Rogues are growing steadily and I want to start scouting locations for a possible second bar. Additionally I’ve decided to attempt to keep the Roach Coach underway continually. However because I’ll be needed to attend to business portside I’ll need to start looking for a new 2nd Officer to handle the day to day operations. Hopefully that isn’t too much of a hassle
These past few days have certainly got my blood pumping. I don’t even know where to start. I guess at the top of the list eh? To start things out I managed to get myself into a slight jam while returning from Alpha. Luckily a member of the [75th] was in the area and managed to get me outta Tau-23 and even across Newcastle in record time. After returning to Nivertion I released the crew for the night onto the station and took my own personal freighter on a trip back to Alpha. That’s where I met a friendly little vessel called Oracle|Listener. I gather they work with the Cross and are super friendly. The guy took me as far as New Berlin before breaking off for his own work. It’s been a busy few days. And its going to get busier still. The NR- has been granted use of the Jackal and while that deal was closing I secured another Contract for our lively cargo.
Well, we’ve more or less reached the end of the first month under the Rogue Banner. Profits are about normal. The Nivertion Rogues have taken on our first major contract and completed it successfully. Other than that things are holding together quite nicely. I dare say I’ll be able to take a nap on this trip.

It’s been a hell of a month. I more or less got kicked to the curb by the Rogue’s; they aren’t keen on running slaves at the moment. Means the Roach Coach was tied up at the moor point and left to the moths as well. Luckily I managed to, uh, borrow this Border Worlds Transport. The owner apparently just up and vanished from Nivertion. It did cost me a bit though to have the controller erase the Vomit Comet from the station listings as well.
The adjustments been tough, I can’t be as brazen with my language, it seems a simple name change is all that’s needed to have people forget your history though.
